Chapter 156 Dumbledore is serious!

With the help of several people, all the necessary preparations were completed in just half a day.

The two exploding books were placed on the fifth and sixth floors, just above the corner corridor. The distance was just right so that Filch could be lured there at any time.

Everything is ready.

But not long after they decided to go on a night out to explore the fourth floor tonight, something unexpected happened.

Several senior Gryffindor students didn't even wait until curfew, and sneaked to the fourth floor while others were having dinner.

But unlike the Weasley brothers, they had no plan at all and no strategic props like the Marauder's Map. They just ran over there on impulse.

Needless to say, the result was that before they could even open the door, they were caught by Filch who had been lying in ambush nearby and taken to Professor McGonagall's office.

Before long, fifty points were missing from Gryffindor's hourglass.

But that’s not all.

For a period of time afterwards, some people, whether from Ravenclaw, Slytherin or Hufflepuff, secretly left the common room and ran to the fourth floor.

Fred and George, who were staring at the Marauder's Map, were dumbfounded. In the usually quiet corridor, a few names would suddenly pop up from time to time today.

Perhaps there were too many little wizards who were captured, so after discussing it, several professors simply came out of the office and took turns waiting for those students who were out at night near the fourth floor.

No matter who it is, once caught, they will be sentenced to ten days of confinement.

I have to say, the professor is much more troublesome than Filch...

George set off some magical fireworks on the first floor that bloomed when they touched the water, trying to lure them away.

Not surprisingly, Filch went downstairs cursing after hearing the noise, and Professor McGonagall followed him with a serious expression.

Near the stairs on the second floor, Fred, who was hiding in the shadows, looked at the Marauder's Map and sighed faintly, "Professor McGonagall is going too far."

On the map, Professor McGonagall's name was still near the fourth floor, and Filch went downstairs alone.

Obviously, the Professor McGonagall they just saw was a fake. It must be a high-end Transfiguration.

Under the current circumstances, it would probably be unlikely to go on an adventure again. After discussing it a few people decided to wait until the storm died down, and then they returned to their dormitories.

This wait lasted for three days.

Three days later, late at night, four people appeared in the school corridor on tiptoe.

"Fred, George..."

Cedric, who was walking at the back, lowered his voice and asked, "Are you sure the professors are not going to the fourth floor?"

"We watched for a long time last night."

Fred whispered, "The professors haven't been to the fourth floor since the weekend, and today won't be an exception."

"It's almost here."

Several people stopped near the third floor, and Qiao Qianzhi lowered his head to look at the live map.

"We're lucky. The professors aren't here, and Filch isn't here either...oh, Merlin, guess who I saw!"

"Who is it?" Fred said with a smile, "It can't be Percy."

"It's not Percy, it's Ron..." George said in surprise, "And Harry, Hermione and Neville. The four freshmen are in the trophy display room right now."

"Ahaha..." Fred couldn't help laughing, "He took his friends out for a night out right after school started. Tsk, he really is worthy of being our little brother..."

"Clang, clang..."

At this moment, bursts of crisp collision sounds suddenly came.

It seemed as if someone had knocked over a suit of armor in the corridor. The sound of the metal parts hitting the ground was very loud, and it was extremely harsh, especially in such a quiet environment.

"Oh shit, they've been spotted!"

The good news is that Filch's attention is on Ron and the others, so now is a good opportunity for us to act.

The bad news is that they are making too much noise and could attract the professor at any time."

"Looks like we have to hurry."

Fred glanced at the map and quickened his pace toward the fourth floor.

On the map, Harry, Ron and the others were moving quickly in this direction. If they continued like this, Filch would be led here soon.

After going up to the fourth floor, they quickly followed the instructions on the Marauder's Map and arrived at a door at the end of the corridor.

“Students don’t sleep!”

At this moment, Peeves' angry roar suddenly came from not far away, "Students are not sleeping, in the corridor of the Charms classroom!"

"I take back my previous opinion. Ron is still a fool."

George put down the Marauder's Map and reached back.

Soon, a bronze key appeared out of thin air in his hand.

"Thanks, Kyle..."

George inserted the key into the lock and opened the door with a slight turn.

"They're almost there, hurry in...oh damn, what is this!"

When George was about to enter the door, he looked up and saw three pairs of bright green eyes staring at him.

In the corridor behind the door was a monstrous giant dog, and it was the dog's eyes that he had just seen.

It had three heads and was so large that it filled up all the space from ceiling to floor.

After the door was opened, the big dog with three heads stood up, and its three noses were twitching and trembling towards them.

Three drooling mouths suddenly opened, revealing rows of hideous, yellowed canine teeth.

"Damn it, Dumbledore really didn't lie to us this time... Run!"

George didn't have time to think. He instinctively turned around and ran away.

Fred and Cedric naturally also saw the appearance of the three-headed dog. The moment it pounced on them, all their adventures and curiosity... disappeared into thin air.

They knew very well what those deafening roars meant.

Without speaking or needing to communicate, the two quickly caught up with George and began running down the corridor.

Although there was a high chance they would be discovered by doing so, between Filch and becoming dog food, they would rather choose Filch.

The three of them didn't even look back and only stopped when they reached the kitchen door.

"Principal Dumbledore is serious!"

George gasped, "Merlin, he put a grown three-headed dog in the school, what does he want to do?!"

"I bet there's something hidden in there," said Fred, his eyes twinkling. "Did you notice that the dog was standing on a trapdoor?"

George sighed and said, "It's useless. You can't expect it to make way for us."

"etc……"

At this time, Cedric suddenly said, "Has anyone seen Kyle?"

"Didn't he come back with us?" Fred was surprised. Only then did he realize that there were indeed only three people here.

Kyle disappeared without a trace.
