Professor Quirrell's Defense Against the Dark Arts was as bad as ever, especially after his arm was injured, so the job of taking care of the "assistant" fell on the little wizard.
A Gryffindor student near the podium was lucky enough to receive the task.
Kyle noticed that when he took the big lizard, his face turned pale and his body stood there stiffly, not daring to move, as if he was holding not a harmless little animal, but Professor Snape's Animagus.
"I've had enough..."
After class, when Kyle was leaving the classroom, he just happened to hear him complaining about something with his friends.
"That lizard smells exactly like Professor Quirrell. Does it eat garlic every day? And now the smell must be on me too! Oh, how disgusting! I hope the cleansing spell works, or I'll have to buy a new school uniform."
Kyle sniffed subconsciously and found that he did smell like garlic, but not as obvious as Quirrell. Plus, they had just come out of the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, so not many people noticed it.
With this smell, it’s no wonder he wants to change into a new school uniform.
Several people walked past him quickly, and when they reached the second floor, Kyle suddenly stopped.
He turned to look at the people next to him and asked, "I'm going to the library, do you want to come with me?"
"No, no."
Mikel and Ryan shook their heads.
Kyle wasn't surprised. They usually walked around the library except when they were doing homework.
"I'm not going either." Connor thought about it and shook her head. "I'm currently reading the notes given by Professor Snape. I have to check them at Christmas, so I don't have time to read other books."
"Snape's notes?"
Kyle's eyes lit up and he said, "Can you lend it to me to have a look... Don't worry, I will make a copy and will definitely not waste your time."
He had received Professor Flitwick's spells class notes last year, which contained not only Professor Flitwick's unique understanding of spells, but also many tips for practical application.
He benefited a lot from the knowledge which was not in the textbooks. It was the kind of good stuff that could not be bought even with Galleons.
"Well, if you want to read it, of course you can." Kanna said without hesitation: "Go to the library first, I will make a copy for you when I go back.
But... you have to be careful when you read it, don't let Professor Snape find out, he won't let me spread it."
Kanna had a strange expression on her face while she spoke.
In fact, when Snape gave her the notes, in addition to telling her not to tell anyone else, he also specifically mentioned a certain person's name.
She just didn't feel comfortable saying it in front of the person in question.
"Don't worry, Professor Snape will never find out." Kyle patted his chest and assured: "I am the most tight-lipped person in Hogwarts."
"besides……"
Kanna continued, "I'm not as good at using the replication spell as you are. I think it will only last about a week. You'd better watch it faster."
Kyle didn't care about this question either.
He had a shorthand quill, so he could copy it out when the time came. It would only take half a day, not to mention a week.
After making the decision, Kanna and the other two returned to the common room, while Kyle turned a corner and headed straight for the library.
There are still quite a few young wizards in Hogwarts who like reading. Even though the get out of class has just ended, the library is almost full of people.
Kyle also saw the Gryffindor trio, who were sitting at a table near the door with a tall pile of books next to them.
Kyle glanced at them subconsciously.
It's not surprising that Hermione is here. She almost treats the library as her dormitory and comes here almost every day.
But Harry and Ron were different.
What surprised Kyle even more was that there was no parchment and quills on their desks, so it was obvious that they were not doing their homework.
Are you really here to read a book? That's a rare thing.
But Kyle didn't say much. He simply greeted the three of them and walked towards Madam Pince.
"Harry..."
Looking at Kyle's back, Ron suddenly whispered, "What do you think about us going to ask Kyle? If it's him, maybe he knows who Nicolas Flamel is."
"no!"
Before Harry could say anything, Hermione refused directly: "This is too dangerous. Don't forget, Snape wanted to kill Harry last time. We can't let Kyle get involved."
"Yeah...Hermione is right." After hesitating for a moment, Harry also nodded.
He also thought it would be better not to tell Kyle about this, and what Ron said was just a guess.
Even if Kyle is very smart, it doesn't mean that he knows who Nicolas Flamel is.
Hermione is a prime example.
"Well, I'm just talking." Ron shrugged and said, "If you don't agree, forget it."
While they were discussing, Kyle also borrowed the book he wanted and prepared to leave the library.
When passing by the trio, Kyle suddenly noticed that the three of them looked at him in a strange way.
The smile was so fake and a little embarrassing.
Seeing me... embarrassed? Is there something wrong with me, or is there something wrong with the mental state of these people? Kyle frowned, not knowing what was going on, and then quickly left the library.
Although I don’t know what happened, for safety reasons it’s better to stay away from them.
Take Hermione for example. She was a good girl, but since she got close to them, she started to become weird.
Terrible! After returning to the common room, Kyle first found Connor and got Snape's notes.
It wasn't very thick, probably about the same as what Professor Flitwick had given him, and it looked like that wasn't all of it.
"Don't let Professor Snape find out." Connor reminded again, "Otherwise I will be scolded."
"Don't worry."
Kyle took the notebook and sat down in a deserted place.
But he didn't look at his notes first, but opened the book he borrowed from the library.
Legendary Alchemical Items
After opening it, the first page is the automatic stirring crucible.
This thing was mentioned in last year's history of magic. Its appearance greatly improved the success rate of potions and reduced possible accidents.
It is of extraordinary significance.
Behind the automatic stirring crucible are the flying broom, the looking glass, the time converter...
But Kyle was not interested in any of these. He flipped through the book quickly and soon found what he needed.
