Kyle felt like he was just flipping through a few books about basilisks in the library, but when he looked up, he found that there were only a few days left before school started.
Three mornings before school started, Fred and George found him excitedly.
"Kyle, I have good news for you." Fred said excitedly with an unconcealable smile, "We have found the final clue to the password of the Marauder's Map!"
"So... the complete password is really hidden in the castle?" Kyle asked in surprise.
Like Cedric, he felt that the last word of the password did not exist at all.
Anyway, if he was one of the four predators, he would not have left the entire password behind.
There has to be some suspense. It would be boring to tell it all. Plus, the previous words are already very obvious. If the complete password cannot be guessed even in this way, it only proves that the person who got the Marauder's Map has no destiny with it.
I believe no one would think that the password is "I solemnly swear that I will study hard."
Plus, if, like Fred and George, you're too obsessed with finding the full password, the hidden last word will make for a great prank.
People who often violate school rules should not be too law-abiding.
Fred and George had never been found before, and Kyle thought he had guessed right.
“You’d never guess where it is.”
George couldn't wait to say, "It's right on the railing next to the school gate. You can see it as long as you look up when you pass by."
"We should have thought of it earlier." Fred said with some annoyance: "Everyone who graduates from school will eventually leave Hogwarts through the school gate, so it not only symbolizes the beginning, but also the end."
"Why didn't we think of this before..."
"So how did you find it?" Kyle asked.
George shrugged and said, "We were planning to explore the Forbidden Forest, but after Hagrid kicked us out, we went to Hogsmeade instead."
"It's just too early. Many shops there haven't opened yet."
"We can't take a shortcut back through the secret passage, so we can only go back the same way."
"When I passed by the school gate, I saw the words on the wall at a glance."
George suddenly sighed, "We shouldn't have to return to school through the secret passage every time we go to Hogsmeade."
"But speaking of secret passages..."
Fred seemed to have thought of something. He patted Kyle on the shoulder and whispered, "After getting the complete password, we found two new secret passages."
"One is on the fourth floor, behind the hunchbacked one-eyed witch statue. Her hunchback is the entrance."
"The other one is more hidden..." Fred said mysteriously, "Do you want to guess where it is?"
"Um...behind the bookshelf in the principal's office?" Kyle stroked his chin and said seriously, "If that's the case, I guess its exit should be in the lounge of a store in Hogsmeade, maybe the Three Broomsticks Bar, or maybe Madam Paddy's tea shop..."
Fred and George were stunned.
It wasn't because Kyle guessed correctly, in fact there was no secret passage in the principal's office.
But Kyle's words aroused their great interest.
Just think about it, the greatest headmaster Hogwarts has ever had a secret relationship with a shopkeeper...oh, this is too exciting.
They analyzed from different angles where the exit would be if there really was such a secret passage... and finally concluded that all the shops in Hogsmeade could be the exit.
Even the Hog's Head is no exception.
"Without Dumbledore's support, that old goat-like guy would have been driven away by others long ago." Fred vowed.
They have gotten to know Hogsmeade very well over the years, and many shop owners have complained in private conversations, saying that the chaotic Hog's Head Inn has seriously lowered the grade of Hogsmeade, which is why they have not been selected as the "Most Worth Visiting Wizarding Village of the Year" for more than a dozen times in a row.
"Unfortunately, there is no secret passage in the principal's office on the Marauder's Map." Fred said regretfully, "And we only know that it is on the eighth floor, but we have never been in to see it, not even once."
"That's the headmaster's office after all, one of the most mysterious places in Hogwarts." George shook his head and said, "Even the seniors who made the Marauder's Map probably rarely go there, let alone look for any secret passages in it."
"I really hope we can go in and take a look, even for just a few minutes..." Fred said longingly.
"Want to go into the principal's office?" Kyle thought for a moment and said, "This is very simple."
Fred and George's eyes lit up and they excitedly put their arms around Kyle's shoulders.
"Kyle, I know you have a way, tell me now!"
"If you can help us get into the principal's office, Fred and I will be your most loyal subordinates!"
"We'll save a seat for you..."
"We provide food delivery service..."
"Deal with everyone who opposes you."
"But only if we don't get deducted points... or detention."
"Don't worry, none of that will happen." Kyle said calmly, "You just need to win a special contribution award for the school, and there will be a 100-point bonus."
The smiles on Fred and George's faces froze. They looked at Kyle in disbelief, as if he were looking at a three-headed dog that could tap dance.
In fact, Fred and George would rather find a three-headed dog that can tap dance than have them win an award for special contributions to the school.
At least that's a possibility.
"If you find it troublesome..." Kyle looked at the expressions of the two and continued, "Then the Order of Merlin will also be fine. This should add 200 points."
"Huh..." George and Fred made a dry sound at the same time, then turned and left.
"Hey, you haven't told me where the last secret passage is." Kyle shouted from behind.
But the twins turned a deaf ear to him and instead quickened their pace.
In fact, the last secret passage they mentioned is right under the Whomping Willow.
Initially, the two came here to invite Kyle to go there and see if there is any way to avoid the Whomping Willow. But now, they just want to find a place without Kyle and stay quietly for a while.
The Order of Merlin would be fine too... What did he think it was, a stone on the side of the road? He could just pick one up if he wanted it? If that was so easy, why didn't he have one himself!
