Chapter 217 Kyle is absent from the game

Ron also knew Kyle's results and was impressed.

Because of this, Fred and George were often beaten during the holidays. As soon as they heard the word "grades", they would run away immediately.

Even Percy went out less often and went back to his room to read almost immediately after dinner.

That was the only vacation without any pranks or having to listen to Percy bragging and nagging all the time.

"But Hermione..." Ron thought for a moment and said, "I remember Kyle was deducted one point. Strictly speaking, he didn't get full marks."

"Is there a difference?" Hermione pursed her lips and said, "I asked Professor McGonagall, and she said that the only point deduction for Kyle was that he wrote thirteen uses of dragon's blood instead of twelve."

"Dragon blood has twelve uses?" Ron blurted out, "I always thought it was thirteen. Haha, it looks like Kyle and I are the same."

"Ha, you thought all you had to do to take the test was write a number?"

Hermione rolled her eyes at him and said impatiently, "Kyle wrote out all the uses of dragon's blood, but he added one more at the end.

I bet he did it on purpose!"

"But why is that..." Harry frowned and said, "Isn't it good to get full marks? Why did he deliberately make a mistake?"

Hermione shook her head. It was not just them who couldn't figure this out, even Professor McGonagall was the same.

"How could someone treat dragon blood as food... This is ridiculous. It's obvious that this is intentional."

"He's much worse than Kyle and me." Hermione ruffled her hair and said, "Haven't you noticed that he rarely shows up in the Great Hall for meals recently.

And Diggory, the top student in the third grade, is also... I bet they are taking the time to read books now."

"Think about it, even someone who got a perfect score worked so hard, how could I not review?"

After saying that, Hermione lowered her head and continued to read the book "Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi" which she had read countless times.

She knew that she couldn't compare to Kyle in many aspects. For example, on the train, Kyle easily defeated Malfoy and his group, which she couldn't do.

Also, on Halloween, the giant monster that scared her so much that she couldn't move was dealt with by Kyle in just a few seconds.

Finally, there were those wonderful Quidditch props... let alone the one worth a hundred Galleons, she couldn't even make the ordinary ones to sell to other people.

Or they can be made, but they look very rough and are far less refined than theirs.

All that would have been fine, except for the exam, when it came to Hermione's stubbornness, she didn't want to admit defeat.

Meanwhile, in the Hufflepuff common room.

"Kyle, the test is coming up soon, are you sure you don't need to review?"

"No need." Kyle, who was playing with Sniff, said without looking up, "It's not OWLs, it's just a final exam. You can pass it by just writing whatever you want. Why spend time reviewing?"

"Why, did I disturb you?"

"No, not really." Kanna shook her head and said, "I'm just a little curious. What have you been busy with recently? You don't even have time to eat."

"I just didn't go to the Great Hall." Kyle said, "We're going to play against Slytherin soon. Just in case, I think it's safer to eat here."

The last Quidditch match will be held in two days. I don’t know what Madam Hooch was thinking. She actually scheduled the last match a week before the exam, and Professor McGonagall agreed.

The Hufflepuff and Slytherin matches were played first, while the Ravenclaw and Gryffindor matches were scheduled after the exams.

"Slytherin, who has lost two games in a row, has begun to do everything possible to win."

Kyle shook his head and sighed, "Harris is still lying in the school hospital because he ate a piece of chocolate given by a Slytherin girl a few days ago."

"How could these people do this..." Kanna frowned and said angrily, "So you don't go to the auditorium to eat because you're worried that they will poison you too?"

My concern is that Snape has poisoned me."

"What are you talking about..." Connor punched Kyle angrily: "Professor Snape would never do that."

"Okay, I was wrong..." Kyle rubbed his sore arm and quickly changed his words: "It has nothing to do with Professor Snape. I just wanted to be on the safe side."

Kanna looked at his movements, her face suddenly turned red, and she whispered, "Don't worry, we will definitely win the championship."

Kyle smiled but said nothing.

The championship was certain. As the only team to win two games in a row, Hufflepuff was nearly four hundred points higher than the second place.

With such a high score, it would be difficult for them to lose even if they wanted to.

Therefore, what Kyle cares about is not winning or losing, but their actions are really hard to accept.

Besides, Kyle didn't want to be like Harris, who was dragged into the school hospital by a large group of people because of vomiting and diarrhea. That would be too terrible.

Harris is fine, he will be in seventh grade next year and will graduate in one year.

But he still has to stay in the castle for five years, and if he really dies, it will be the end of him.

So no matter what, you definitely can't go to the auditorium before the game.

And so, two days later, the last Quidditch match finally began.

This game is like a ray of light, illuminating the boring review life of the little wizards.

On the day of the game, Harry and Ron got up early, put the exams behind them, and ran excitedly to the Quidditch field.

Although Hermione complained that they shouldn't be distracted by watching the game at this time, she still went with them.

"Forget the test Hermione…at least for today."

In the stands, Ron laughed and said to Hermione, "This is the last game of the year. Look, the Hufflepuff team is here."

When Harris walked out of the tunnel and appeared on the court, a wave of cheers suddenly sounded around him.

He was just discharged from the hospital yesterday and his face was still a little pale, but his eyes were determined.

In the stands, Harry looked at the Hufflepuff players with some complicated feelings.

Although he really wanted to see Slytherin fail, Hufflepuff was already 390 points higher than Gryffindor, and if they won today's game, this number would definitely continue to increase.

At least four hundred points... Can they really catch up?

With his old enemy on one side and the champion on the other, it was hard for Harry to choose who to support.

"Wait..." At this time, Hermione suddenly exclaimed: "Kyle didn't come to participate in the competition!"

Harry was stunned and quickly looked at the players again.

Hermione was right, Kyle was indeed not there, and Hufflepuff had a substitute Chaser this time.

"He must be studying for the exam..." Hermione said in annoyance, "I really shouldn't have come!"
