"Dear guest, would you like to have a meal?" A sharp voice came from the other end of the room.
It was a house-elf wearing goggles.
"Tata?"
Kyle remembered that this elf should be called this name.
"Yes, distinguished guest...it's an honor that you remember Tata's name."
Unlike the house-elves in the Hogwarts kitchen who always looked timid, Tata's behavior seemed much more normal.
And the clean and decent clothes made it look more like a butler in an old manor.
But they also have one thing in common: they are all a bit over-enthusiastic.
After seeing Kyle get up, it moved all the toiletries and breakfast over.
Steak, sausage, bread, French foie gras, French soup...all kinds of breakfasts filled the entire table, the amount was more than enough to feed an elephant.
"That's enough. I can't eat so much!" Kyle quickly stopped it from moving the breakfast, picked up a hot towel from the tray next to it and wiped his face. He asked, "What happened yesterday? And why am I sleeping here?"
Kyle felt dizzy and his head was heavy. He only remembered that he was invited to visit Nicolas Flamel's house and met Fleur and Ms. Maxime from Beauxbatons.
As for what happened afterwards and why he was sleeping here, he had no recollection of it at all.
"Dear guest, you drank some very choking water yesterday and fell asleep afterwards." Tata said, "The master asked me to bring you here to rest."
"Choking water?" Kyle frowned, as if he remembered something, but it was a little vague.
"Oh, this is it." Tata took out a bottle and said, "I put it away after they finished drinking it yesterday."
Kyle took the bottle and his expression turned grim.
Aged Fire Whiskey.
Look at the date on the bottle, 1933...
My goodness, the whiskey I was drinking was nearly sixty years old? No wonder my head felt so uncomfortable.
It had been a long time since he had felt this way, ever since he had learned Occlumency.
However, Occlumency only deals with mental magic, and strong liquor is obviously not within its scope of business.
"The master said you might need this."
At this time, Tata stuffed a bottle of sky blue potion into Kyle's hand.
Kyle opened the lid, sniffed it briefly, then tilted his head back and drank it.
The next second, Kyle felt a chill all over his body, and his originally dizzy head instantly became much clearer, and he also remembered.
When everyone was having dinner together yesterday, someone did give him a glass of something that looked like wine.
And it was none other than McPhail, who delivered the Order of Merlin to Hogwarts.
But at that time he said it was mead, and the little wizard could drink a couple of cups, so Kyle didn't think much about it and just took a sip.
And now...
Kyle felt his head pounding.
Who would have thought... McPhail, a wizard over a hundred years old and one of the few recipients of the Order of Merlin, First Class, would actually trick a child under thirteen into drinking Firewhisky! Oh, and the Bafe Brain Stimulant he was going to make for himself.
That sticky, bubbling, strange brown liquid... Kyle had only seen it in Mikel's cauldron.
Even a dragon wouldn't be able to handle that stuff! For a moment, Kyle suddenly suspected that McPhail had some grudge against Dumbledore... but because he couldn't beat him, he wanted to find some ways to gain some benefits from him.
…
After breakfast, Kyle left the room and walked along a golden corridor to the hall he had been in yesterday.
As soon as Kyle walked in, he saw an astonishing number of bands. They filled every corner of the place and played their instruments attentively.
Nicolas Flamel was lying on a beach chair, basking in the sun and enjoying the wonderful opera performance.
He noticed Kyle coming in and said with a smile: "Tata just moved all the food out of the kitchen... I guess you've woken up."
Kyle exclaimed as he walked over to Nico, but his eyes never left the huge band.
"Mr. Flamel, this is..."
"Oh, you're talking about this." Nico said proudly, "This is the most precious treasure in my long life."
As he spoke, Nico stood up from his beach chair.
The melodious opera continued, but the bands were gone and the hall returned to what it was yesterday.
Kyle noticed that some golden symbols on the wall suddenly flashed.

He always felt that those symbols looked familiar, as if he had seen them somewhere... Oh, Dumbledore's headmaster's office!
The symbols were almost identical to those on the Pensieve.
"Mr. Flamel..."
"We agreed before, call me Nico."
"Okay, Nico," Kyle asked, "are these your memories?"
"Yes..." Nico recalled, "It was an unforgettable encounter a hundred years ago. I always want to experience it a few more times."
"That's amazing!" Kyle exclaimed.
A Pensieve as big as a room... you can probably only see it in Nicolas Flamel.
"This is my proudest work." Nico changed to a new song.
Kyle looked around. The hall was empty. Apart from him and Nico, there was no one else here.
Kyle then asked quietly, "Nico, does Mr. McPhail have any personal grudge against Professor Dumbledore?"
"As far as I know... not really," Nico said, "In fact, they have a pretty good relationship, and they are both big fans of ten-pin bowling.
Before you came here, he told Albus that he would help take care of you."
"You tricked me into drinking whiskey?" Kyle said suspiciously, "This way of caring is quite unique."
"It has nothing to do with Albus." Nico said with a smile: "Since Dugar retired, his personality has become more and more erratic. Not only you, but even Fleur is not immune.
But he apparently forgot that Olympe was here... Oh, by the way, maybe hearing this will make you feel better."
Nico clapped his hands, and suddenly, the scene in the hall changed suddenly. The originally melodious music turned into shrill screams, and in the middle there were clear and powerful knocking sounds.
Kyle was very familiar with this voice, it was McPhail's.
He had heard the exact same scream when he entered the potion room yesterday, so it left a deep impression on him.
Kyle whispered, "Could it be that Ms. Maxime is..."
"Just as you thought." Nico blinked and showed a wicked smile, "I think he won't be able to go out for a long time."
Kyle laughed dryly twice. He believed that this matter had nothing to do with Dumbledore.
It would be fine if he was just lying to her, but Furong followed her boss, and McPhail actually dared to do that to her? He didn't deserve the beating.
