Chapter 252 Disappearance of Harry

Ever since Fred gave Ron the Trickster wand, they had been waiting to see what would happen.

But Ron didn't notice it until a week had passed... in other words, he didn't use his wand for a week.

This was very disappointing to Fred and George.

"It seems we have a very obedient brother."

One night, Fred said helplessly, "He really remembered the rule that students cannot use magic outside of school, and he has been strictly abiding by it..."

St. Catchpole is a large village with many wizards living here. As long as it is not discovered by Muggles, the Ministry of Magic will not care about the magical reactions that occur here.

So the ban before the holiday is basically equivalent to a piece of waste paper here.

Not to mention Kyle and the twins, even Cedric and Percy would often practice spells in their room.

At this point, Ron seemed particularly well-behaved.

Because of this, Fred and George's plan to test the magic wand is unlikely to succeed in the short term.

George sighed and said, "I wish he could follow the rules like this in school."

"Maybe Gryffindor can even win the house cup because of this."

Fred spread his hands and then looked at Kyle:

"By the way Kyle, we are going to Diagon Alley to buy some things tomorrow, do you want to come with us?"

"Then let's go together." Kyle asked, "When do we leave tomorrow?"

"Morning."

George said, "We need to buy a lot of books, and Ginny also needs to prepare things for school, so we have to go early."

After agreeing on a departure time for tomorrow, Fred and George left.

Kyle returned to his room and wanted to read for a while, but he didn't know whether it was because of excitement or something else, he couldn't read a single word of the content in those books.

There was no choice but for Kyle to turn off the lights and go to bed early.

It seemed like a long time had passed before daybreak finally came.

After getting up, Kyle hurriedly ate a few bites of bread and went to the Burrow.

The Weasley family was having breakfast. Although Kyle repeatedly stated that he had already had breakfast, Mrs. Weasley still stuffed him with several bacon sandwiches.

Ginny offered him a seat.

After Kyle sat down, Mr. Weasley, who was eating, looked up and asked, "Has your father gone to the Ministry yet?"

Kyle nodded. "He received a letter half an hour ago and hurried to the Ministry of Magic."

"It must be those guys..." Mr. Weasley muttered, "They are dissatisfied with the new Muggle Protection Act, so they threw the dark magic items in their home into places where Muggles are infested.

I think they thought they were very clever, that they had solved their problem and could still cause us some trouble in this way.”

"But they did succeed," Kyle shrugged.

Recently, the Daily Prophet has been reporting that Muggles have been affected by the dark magic, and the number is increasing. The Ministry of Magic's Reversal of Incidents Team is almost going crazy.

Not only that, even the animals were not spared. Whether they were livestock or insects, after coming into contact with those discarded black magic items, they would become extremely irritable and aggressive.

Some people even found purple ants as big as a palm...

This is also the reason why Chris rushed to the Ministry of Magic early in the morning.

"It's only a temporary success." Mr. Weasley took a bite of his sandwich and smiled, "Scrimgeour has already started investigating this matter with the Aurors, and now no one dares to throw those dark magic items anymore.

A bunch of smart guys, I will be able to catch them sooner or later..."

"Be quiet." Mrs. Weasley slapped the twins and warned, "Be careful, Arthur, those people are not easy to mess with. Don't forget that you have been suspended from the investigation."

"It's only temporary, Molly." Mr. Weasley said, "The suspension of the investigation order is only for three days. Kingsley told me that there have been a lot more people in Knockturn Alley recently. They must be scared and want to sell the dark magic items in their hands in a hurry."

"But Mr. Weasley, why don't those people put their things in Gringotts."

Kyle asked doubtfully, "The Ministry of Magic can't check the vault, so it should be safe in there."

"I don't know either..." Mr. Weasley thought for a moment and said, "Maybe they don't want those cursed things to contaminate their gold coins..."

After breakfast, Mrs. Weasley picked up a flower pot from the kitchen mantelpiece, turned around and said to everyone, "Well, guests first, Harry, you come first!"

She held the flowerpot out to Harry.

"What should I do?" Harry was stunned for a moment and asked stutteringly.

"Mrs. Weasley, Harry probably hasn't used Floo powder yet." Kyle stepped forward. "Let me go first. This will give him a chance to learn how to do it."

"Never used Floo powder..." Mrs. Weasley frowned, seeming to find it a little unbelievable.

Harry looked at Kyle gratefully and nodded repeatedly.

"Well then..." Mrs. Weasley handed the flower pot to Kyle.

Kyle picked up a handful of the glittering powder and threw it into the flames of the fireplace. Then he walked in and shouted, "Diagon Alley!"

In the blink of an eye, Kyle appeared in the Leaky Cauldron.

Perhaps because school was about to start, this place was much busier than usual, and the few shabby tables were filled with wizards drinking.

If you come late, you can only stand by with a glass of wine.

Soon, Fred and George arrived, and then Mr. Weasley...

As soon as he came out of the fireplace, he looked around nervously.

"Merlin's beard... Kyle, have you seen Harry Potter?"

"No." Kyle shook his head. "Has he been here yet?"

"He entered the fireplace before me." Mr. Weasley's voice trembled a little. "Oh my God, we lost Harry Potter..."

Later, Percy, Ron, Ginny and Mrs. Weasley arrived.

After learning that Harry did not appear in the Leaky Cauldron, Mrs. Weasley's face instantly lost color and she almost fell to the ground.

Fortunately, Fred was quick to help her from behind.

"Arthur..." She clutched her chest and sobbed, "Harry is missing... How are we going to explain this to his aunt and uncle?"

"Don't worry, Mrs. Weasley, Potter will be fine." Kyle comforted: "He probably went to the wrong furnace door. Maybe we can go to Knockturn Alley. I remember there should be a furnace door there as well."

"Yes...you are right, it should be like this."

Mrs. Weasley seemed to have grasped at straws, "Where is the furnace door to Knockturn Alley... Damn it, why can't I remember!"

"Relax...Molly, don't be nervous."

Mr. Weasley held her hand tightly and comforted her, "I remember Kingsley told me before that when they went to search Knockturn Alley...Oh, I remember, it was Borgin and Burke!"

"That notorious shop selling items related to dark magic?!" Mrs. Weasley's expression became even uglier.

She ran quickly towards the backyard of the Leaky Cauldron: "Hurry... Arthur, we have to get there quickly..."

Seeing this, Mr. Weasley hurriedly followed.
