"Your arm is broken!" she said. "If you want to take the wand again... you must make sure it is completely fine before you leave."
So Harry had no choice but to stay.
The Gryffindor team members came back in the evening, bringing cakes, candies and several bottles of pumpkin juice, and seemed to want to have a happy party here.
As expected, they were kicked out for seriously disturbing others' rest.
…
"I told you ten minutes ago that you must come back."
In the auditorium, Kyle looked at Fred and George who had returned empty-handed and said with a smile, "If we want to hold a celebration party in the school hospital, even Professor Dumbledore will be kicked out, let alone you guys."
"You have to give it a try."
The two sat down at the long Hufflepuff dining table and took the condiment plate handed to them by Cedric without any hesitation.
"Honestly..." Fred muttered as he peeled a potato, "If laughing a few times can wake up Flint or Filch, that would be great."
"Especially Filch... maybe he will thank us." George blinked.
Filch was also in the hospital wing, but thick curtains were drawn around him, completely hiding him.
…
Early Sunday morning, Kyle prepared to visit Hagrid.
He went to the cabin very few times this year, only once when school started, and never went there again... Mainly because he had too many things to do before, such as catching up on homework and learning magic words, and he simply couldn't spare the time.
Hagrid sent a letter on Friday saying that he had prepared new cured ham and wanted Kyle to taste it.
Kyle agreed.
But it has nothing to do with cured ham. He had tasted this thing once last year... It was so salty that it felt like a bite of salt.
He even suspected for a moment that it was salt, but Hagrid had turned it into the shape of ham.
After leaving the Great Hall, Kyle met Hermione and Ron who were running in the hall.
"Are you going to see Harry?"
"Yes... yes, we are on our way." Ron clutched a bulging bag and said nervously, "This is... a gift for him."
A pungent smell came out of the bag, a bit like sapweed.
Wow, giving herbs as gifts... When did Harry start to like potions so much?
But Kyle didn't point it out. He just chatted for a few more words and then left.
Hermione and Ron hurried upstairs, while Kyle left the castle and came to Hagrid's cabin.
"You've been busier than the professor lately, Kyle."
Hagrid took off the dragon-skin gloves on his hands and said angrily, "If I don't write to you, you won't come again."
"Of course not, Hagrid," Kyle explained. "I have twelve subjects to write homework for and two clubs to join..."
But he saw Hagrid suddenly smile.
"I was joking." He picked up a copper kettle and poured some hot pine nut tea into the cup in front of Kyle. "I know you're very busy. Professor Kettleburn told me that you have signed up for twelve courses and have to do a lot of homework every day... I thought you couldn't come today either."
"You have to relax for a while." Kyle picked up the cup and blew on it.
"It's great that you think so." Hagrid smiled and said, "And Kyle, you are already good enough. Since Bill graduated, I haven't heard of anyone who can join multiple clubs at the same time. You are the first."
As he spoke, he also took out the ham sandwich he had prepared in advance.
Kyle shook his head and refused, saying that he had just had breakfast.
Hagrid didn't care and just picked up a piece from the plate and started eating.
"Where are your friends, the Weasley brothers, Cedric and Connor..." he asked.
"Oh, that's good, it's always in crowded places." Hagrid finished the last of his sandwich and drank a large cup of tea.
"You'd better be with them, Kyle. Whether you are attending class or doing something else, try to choose a place with many people."
"Are you talking about Filch?"
Kyle put down the cup in his hand, "I'll be careful."
"Being careful isn't enough," said Hagrid seriously. "If it had been yesterday, even the professor would have... oh, I shouldn't have said that."
"Professor?" Kyle frowned and asked in confusion, "Did anything happen last night?"
"Well... you'll know sooner or later." Hagrid glanced in the direction of the castle and lowered his voice, "It's Caridi Burbage. Dumbledore found her in an empty classroom last night. By then, she had become the same as Filch."
Hagrid poured Kyle another cup of tea. "Although Caridi has been studying the lives of Muggle students in Muggle schools before, her strength has declined a little... er, I mean she is not as powerful as other professors, but she is an adult wizard after all."
Kyle's hand holding the teacup paused.
He didn't expect the second person to be attacked to show up so soon... and he was a professor.
After all, Charity Burbage was a serious professor at Hogwarts, and this was completely different from the attack on Filch.
Even the professor has been infected, what about the students... Who knows, Hogwarts may be closed directly because of this incident.
It depends on how Dumbledore solves it.
Kyle stayed in Hagrid's hut until noon, then returned to the castle carrying a large piece of pickled warthog leg.
Hagrid insisted on sending him off, and he didn't refuse.
Norbert has been eating beef shanks and pork chops from the kitchen recently, so it's a good opportunity to change his taste.
As luck would have it, after entering the hall, Kyle met Hermione and Ron again, but this time there was an additional Harry.
They just came down from upstairs and seemed to be preparing to go to the auditorium for dinner.
"I can't believe there is such a magical place in Hogwarts." Ron shouted excitedly.
"It's incredible." Hermione also said excitedly: "The things in it are more comprehensive than those in the Potions classroom. It even has an automatic stirring cauldron. Using that can save us a lot of time."
"It's a pity that there are no potion materials... If there were bicorn horns and boomslang skins there, we wouldn't have to go to Sne..."
"Harry!"
Hermione suddenly raised her voice, "We'll be having dinner soon, let's discuss our Potions homework later."
Harry was stunned for a moment.
Weren't they discussing Polyjuice Potion? When did they mention the Potions homework? However, at Hermione's hint, he soon noticed Kyle not far away.
"Oh, yes Hermione..." Subconsciously, Harry also raised his voice, "Those potions homework are really difficult. I'm starving."
Then they hurried down the stairs, greeting Kyle enthusiastically as if they had just seen him.
"...Kyle, I didn't even realize you were here."
Kyle's mouth twitched at the poor acting.
To be honest, when Sniffle was trying to cheat him out of the gold coins, his acting was much better than these three people.
"I just came back from Hagrid's place." Kyle forced a typical smile, "He also gave me a piece of cured ham. Would you like some?"
"No, no."
Harry and the other two shook their heads at the same time.
Unless necessary, you must never eat anything given by Hagrid... This was the lesson they learned last year.
