Chapter 33: Retirement after Success (Please collect and recommend)

In a corner of the Hufflepuff common room, Cedric was looking at the enthusiastic freshmen not far away with a look of shock.

He couldn't understand what was wrong with the freshmen this year. Could it be that they really couldn't tell that Kyle was talking nonsense? Why were they so cooperative?

This is Hufflepuff, not Ravenclaw.

Cedric didn't know what other people were thinking, but if he were admitted to the school hospital, he would definitely not want any class notes or homework.

Especially homework.

Good man, using homework as a gift... Is this something a normal wizard could come up with? Even Voldemort wouldn't do such a wicked thing.

Cedric's conscience told him that he should expose Kyle and save the innocent Mikel.

But he couldn't do it.

Because in a way, Kyle's words can make the Hufflepuff badgers more serious in class.

This is undoubtedly a good thing.

Cedric struggled for a long time. In the past twelve years, he had never had to make such a difficult choice. On one side was his conscience, and on the other was his responsibility as a senior. He didn't want to give up either, so he could only jump back and forth between the two.

Not far from Cedric was Connor, who was also confused. She was the only freshman who could still stay awake.

Unlike Cedric, Connor's ideas are much simpler.

No matter what, stay away from Kyle! Kanna swore in her heart that after getting the special rat tonic, she would stay away from Kyle. Even if she couldn't transfer to another college, she would try her best to avoid any possible encounters.

By the way, when attending class, you should also choose a seat farthest away from Kyle.

On the other side, the little badgers, full of a sense of mission, were still discussing the specific plans for the future, while Kyle, who had accomplished his mission, quietly squeezed out of the crowd.

Now everyone's attention is on what they are going to do next, so naturally he, as a tool, will no longer receive as much attention as before.

Kyle found a sofa away from the crowd and sat down, flipping through the book "The Bard in the Wind".

This is a book published fifty years ago, telling the stories of a wandering bard during his travels and the various troubles he encountered.

The style is very similar to Rohart's works, but the difference is that this book only uses a small amount of space to describe the bard himself, and the focus is basically on the things he saw.

It records many spells with unique regional characteristics, which gave Kyle a refreshing feeling.

He kept reading until noon, and when Cedric came to call him to eat, Kyle closed the book with a sense of unfulfilled desire.

"What are you looking at?" Cedric asked curiously, "I called you several times just now and there was no response."

"The Bard in the Wind." Kyle handed the book to Cedric and said, "Recommended by Dumbledore. It's a very interesting biography."

"Recommended by the principal?"

Cedric's eyes lit up and he immediately said that he wanted to see it too.

"That's fine, but I just started reading it, so you have to wait a few days." Kyle thought for a moment and said, "Or you can go to the library and ask if there are any extra ones."

"No need." Cedric returned the book to Kyle and shook his head. "Just tell me when you're done reading it, and I'll go borrow it again."

Based on his understanding of the school library, there are rarely two identical biographical books, so it would be a wasted trip.

After leaving the Hufflepuff common room, the two quickly arrived at the Great Hall.

After a whole morning, the news that the Charms classroom was blown up by a young Hufflepuff wizard had already spread throughout Hogwarts.

In the auditorium, almost all the young wizards were talking about this topic with great interest.

"Hey, look who's here!"

As soon as Kyle walked into the door of the auditorium, he was blocked by Fred and George who were waiting there early.

"I knew that Hogwarts would never be peaceful with you here, and it turned out just as I expected." Fred hooked his arm around Kyle's shoulder and said, "Tell us quickly, how did you blow up the classroom?"

George also said, "Yes, we heard that even Professor Flitwick left the classroom with a limp."

"You blew up the professor in the first class..." Fred and George looked at each other and said in unison: "Kyle, you will definitely go down in school history!"

The twins' voices were quite loud and soon attracted the attention of other young wizards. More and more people began to come over here intentionally or unintentionally.

This left Kyle speechless. He said helplessly, "First of all, the Illumination Spell cannot blow up the classroom. This is common sense. Professor Flitwick just fell accidentally and injured his leg."

"Secondly, the little wizard who caused all this is now in the school hospital. It has nothing to do with me. If you slander me again, I will write to Mrs. Weasley."

"Not you?"

The twins were stunned at the same time. Obviously, the result was not what they expected.

"Of course not. Why would you think that?" Kyle pointed to the side of him and said, "If you don't believe me, you can ask Cedric."

"I testify that it really wasn't Kyle." Cedric nodded immediately.

"You heard it, didn't you?" Kyle pushed the two men aside and said, "Where did you get this information from? It's too unreliable."

"I heard it from the Ravenclaw freshmen." Fred shrugged and said, "They said you sent your classmates to the school hospital."

Kyle was even more speechless after hearing this, and immediately said, "I was there to help, and Professor Dumbledore gave me 20 extra points. By the way, did they say anything else? It couldn't be just this one sentence."

"I don't know." George spread his hands and said as a matter of course: "We heard this when we passed by."

"I'm so fucking..."

Kyle took a deep breath. He didn't want to talk to these two anymore.

He originally thought that Ravenclaw had a talent who was quoted out of context, but he didn't expect that the real talents were Fred and George.

When you ask for news, at least listen to the whole story. Why do you only listen to the ending? And what about such an ambiguous ending?

Fortunately, they found him directly and did not spread the news, otherwise the good reputation he had worked so hard to accumulate would have been lost.

Kyle sighed, patted the two on the shoulders and said, "You are really wasting your talents at Hogwarts. You should go directly to work at the Daily Prophet. Rita Skeeter will love you to death."
