Although it was a pity to give up the book "Advanced Potion-Making", Kyle had already read the contents of it three times, and his notes had long been copied into a new book, so it didn't matter even if he returned it to Snape.
…
By the third day of exam week, there were only two classes left.
Kyle set off for the top of the North Tower early in the morning to prepare for the divination class exam.
There is a trick to Divination class. Even if you have never read the book and don't understand anything, you can still get high scores as long as the results you give can satisfy Professor Trelawney.
Kyle leaned over and peered into the crystal ball.
"What did you see..." Professor Trelawney asked. She had a stern face and was obviously unhappy that Kell had not come to class for a whole semester.
Maybe if I give him a very low score, he will understand how important divination is... Professor Trelawney thought secretly.
"Hmm..." Kyle put his nose against the crystal ball, "I saw a figure..."
"What does it look like?" Professor Trelawney asked quietly. "Think about it..."
"He's very tall, and he has a beard...
"It's Professor Dumbledore!" Kyle said affirmatively.
"Headmaster!" Professor Trelawney murmured, somewhat surprised.
"Yes, it's Professor Dumbledore." Kyle whispered, "He looked very miserable, walking hunched over on a street... There were houses on both sides, but no one opened the door for him, and everyone chased him out."
"Are you sure, dear?" Professor Trelawney wrote eagerly on the parchment, "that this was really Headmaster Dumbledore you saw?"
"I'm sure, Professor."
Kyle affirmed, "He looked like an unwelcome poisonous spider."
"Well, dear, that's enough... It's incredible... You have a gift for prophecy."
Professor Trelawney said happily, "But divination is a profound subject. Talent alone is not enough. Remember to come to class in the future."
Kyle smiled and nodded, then stood up and prepared to leave, but suddenly heard a loud and shrill voice behind him.
"Tonight..."
Kell turned around and saw Professor Trelawney sitting upright in an armchair, her eyes blank and her mouth open.
Her eyes kept rolling and her whole body was twitching unconsciously. The crystal ball on the table was glowing slightly, reflecting her appearance.
Then Professor Trelawney spoke again, in that harsh voice.
"The Dark Lord lies alone, and his deepest secrets have been discovered.
Tonight, the Dark Lord begins his death... only to rise again... with his most powerful... weapon..."
Professor Trelawney's head dropped to her chest with a gurgling sound, and then, quite suddenly, she raised her head again.
"I'm sorry, dear child," she said dreamily, "it was too hot, you know, and I took a nap..."
"Yes, Professor, you are too tired." Kyle said with a smile.
He glanced at the crystal ball on the table and said, "Professor, I suddenly realized that what you just said is very right. In order to practice divination frequently, can I buy this crystal ball... or borrow it for a vacation?"
Professor Trelawney was a little confused, but still nodded. "If you want to borrow it... of course you can, but remember to return it. The crystal ball is very expensive."
"No problem, Professor." Kyle picked up the crystal ball on the table. "I'll send it over next semester. It'll be as good as new."
As Kyle walked down the stairs, he was still looking at the crystal ball in his hand...
Professor Trelawney had obviously just made a true prophecy, and the crystal ball recorded everything completely.
But what does that mean.
Voldemort’s biggest secret should be the Horcrux. It is easy to understand that when the diary was destroyed, he began to die.
But what is the most powerful weapon... Kyle thought of many possibilities.
But five minutes later he put the crystal ball away.
It's okay to just listen to prophecies, but you should never delve into them too deeply. Voldemort believed in the prophecy and that's why he ended up in his current state... We should learn from past experience.
…
In the castle, people walked towards the venue, talking and laughing, to enjoy the long-awaited freedom.
Kyle was also preparing to go to Hagrid, but after he had taken a few steps, someone suddenly called him.
"Kyle... do you have a minute?"
It was Lockhart, standing in the doorway of his office.
"What's up, Professor?" Kyle asked.
"Nothing, just very interested in something." Lockhart opened the door of the office, "Come in, don't worry, it won't take up too much of your time."
"Okay." Kyle nodded and agreed.
There were countless frames on the walls of the office, all of which were self-portraits of Lockhart, some of which were even signed.
There was also a pile of photos on the table.
"Sit down." He pointed to a soft, wide chair. "Would you like something to drink? Tea, whiskey... I think it's okay to drink whiskey occasionally. At least here, no one else will know."
"No need, Professor. I can do it myself." Kyle tapped the table three times with his fingers and shouted clearly, "Lemonade."
This was a method he learned from Professor Dumbledore, knocking on the table three times to communicate with the kitchen.
Soon, a large glass of lemonade appeared in front of Kyle.
"Oh!" Lockhart looked a little surprised.
"That's amazing." He said, "I dare say there is no better wizard than you at this age."
"It's just a little trick to get food from the kitchen," Kyle said. "Professor, I'm sure you can do it too."
"Of course, I knew that when I first came here." Lockhart showed his shining teeth, "Although the whiskey provided by the school is a bit ordinary, it's nice to change the taste occasionally."
Kyle nodded and didn't tell him that the kitchen didn't serve any alcoholic beverages.
"Professor, what do you want to see me about?"
"I almost forgot the main thing." Lockhart sat down opposite Kyle and said with interest: "I am very interested in what you experienced in the secret room. I want to write it in my new book."
"Can you tell me what happened in detail, including how you found the secret room...how you met the Big Four..."
Lockhart said excitedly: "Characters from thousands of years ago are reappearing in Hogwarts. Oh my God, I have a feeling that this is definitely my best work. Our name will spread throughout the entire wizarding world..."
"Am I still in that book?" Kyle asked in surprise.
"Of course, you are the most important part." Lockhart said softly.
"But I told you all this in the principal's office." Kyle frowned, "You were there too."
"I want details, these are essential experiences."
Lockhart said patiently, “Well, I’ll ask the questions and you just have to answer them.
First, what did you think after discovering the secret room? "
"It's incredible, right? I feel shocked..." Kyle said after thinking for a while.
"So what was your first reaction after seeing the basilisk?"
"It's incredible, I'm shocked..."
"What happens after you see the Big Four appear?"
“Unbelievable…”
"Change it!"
"Well, it's a surprise."
