The batters searched the office and took away almost everything, including portraits and signed photos.
"Goodbye Professor McGonagall, we'll be leaving now."
"The only thing I don't want to see at school is you, Harder," Professor McGonagall whispered.
"I'm sorry, Professor. I can't help it." Hader said with a smile, "But I will be an Auror soon, and then I won't come here again.
Unless the school hires a Death Eater as the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor again."
He made a joke, but Professor McGonagall was not amused at all.
Death Eaters? Yes, they were there last year... and even the Death Eater's master was here.
After a few brief greetings, Hard turned and walked out of the office, with two strikers carrying Lockhart following behind him.
"Hey, where are you taking me?"
"Slow down, don't walk so fast..."
"Oh, it's so beautiful here..."
Lockhart's voice echoed down the corridor.
Kyle looked at his back and felt inexplicably that he seemed to be plotted against.
Could it be that Lockhart had received the news in advance and had been waiting for someone from the Ministry of Magic to arrive?
The more Kyle thought about it, the more likely it seemed.
No one would use the Oblivion Charm when the other person is on guard. Generally it is a sneak attack... There is no way Lockhart didn't know this.
But I don't know whether to say that he was smart or just being clever by erasing his own memory in order to avoid trial.
After all, this method is also very costly, and it is not worth it for small things, and it is useless for big things...
After Lockhart was taken away, his story quickly spread throughout the school.
Lockhart is not a legendary adventurer at all. He just stole other people's experiences and attributed them to himself. He is a complete liar.
Some of Lockhart's fans were unwilling to believe this was true, but more people quickly accepted it.
It can only be said that it was unexpected but reasonable. His performance in class was the most powerful evidence.
"I told you he was a liar."
At the end-of-school dinner, Ron looked at Hermione with a haughty look on his face: "You just didn't believe it. Now it turns out I was right."
Hermione turned her head away and ignored him.
But Ron kept chattering on. This was the first time he surpassed Hermione in some aspect, and he was so happy.
He was so pleased with himself that he didn't even notice that Hermione's expression was becoming increasingly ugly.
Harry tried to warn him several times, but to no avail.
"Ron..."
Finally, Hermione turned around in anger and said, "Don't ever think about reading my homework again!"
After saying that, she angrily switched places with Parvati Patil.
Ron sat there with his mouth open. He looked at Harry and muttered, "Tell me, is it too late for me to apologize now?"
Harry laughed dryly twice and said nothing. He knew this would happen.
Soon, Dumbledore walked into the Great Hall.
Because of the Chamber of Secrets incident, Kyle once again won the School's Special Contribution Award and won a 200-point reward for Hufflepuff.
This large amount of points allowed Hufflepuff to overtake Ravenclaw and win the house cup.
The badgers' cheers almost made a hole in the ceiling.
They never dreamed that their academy would one day be able to achieve three consecutive championships.
Professor Sprout's face flushed with excitement, and he adjusted his new robes while shaking hands with other professors.
She went to Hogsmeade to buy this especially for today. The materials and craftsmanship are of the best quality.
…
After the banquet, everyone began to enjoy the freest time of the year.
It seemed like just a blink of an eye and the test results were out.
Because of several mistakes in the Muggle Studies exam, Kyle did not get full marks this time, but he still got first place in the grade with a score that no one else could match.
Fred and George also achieved a good result, with nearly half of them getting "O"s, which was enough to prevent them from being nagged by Mrs. Weasley during the holidays.
The next day, they were going to return home on the Hogwarts Express.
As Kyle was about to board the train, Professor McGonagall came over and handed him a note.
"This is what Professor Dumbledore left for you," she said.
There was only a very brief sentence on the note.
"Your things have been sent away, but Professor Snape doesn't look very happy."
Kyle was a little surprised. He thought Dumbledore would be so obsessed with studying the time-turner that he would forget about this matter.
"The headmaster also asked me to tell you that the Chamber of Secrets is over," said Professor McGonagall. "He said you know what that means."
"I understand, Professor." Kyle nodded.
Dumbledore's meaning was simple, he didn't want the basilisk to appear in the school again, in any form.
"That's good." Professor McGonagall looked at Kyle and felt a little puzzled, but did not ask any more questions.
Dumbledore was always mysterious. This was not the first or second time. She was used to it.
"Don't forget that paper. You must write it well." She reminded him again and returned to the castle.
By the time Kyle boarded the train, Connor, Cedric and the others had already found a compartment.
Ginny was there too, and Fred and George were questioning her about something.
"What did Percy just say to you..."
"What on earth is he hiding from us that he forbids you to tell anyone..."
"Nothing..." Ginny hesitated, "You heard it wrong."
"Two cans of Fluffy Teeth mints!" Fred held up two fingers.
"But I promised Percy to keep it a secret..."
"And a bag of Pepper Pussy!" said George. "And it's the new model, the one that spits out blue fire. Only we can get it."
"Nothing much." Ginny said immediately, "Percy just got a girlfriend."
Fred dropped the Exploding Crackling card on George's head.
"What?"
"It's the Ravenclaw prefect, Penelope Cruvat," Ginny said. "Percy has been writing to her during last year's holidays, and I happened to see them having a secret date in an empty classroom yesterday."
"No wonder...he refused to lend us the owl before." Fred grinned.
"You won't tell anyone about this, will you?" Ginny asked anxiously.
"Absolutely not!" replied George, laughing secretly.
After Ginny left, Fred and George huddled together and whispered for more than half an hour before joining the others to play Crackling Explosion Cards and Wizard Chess.
The Hogwarts Express passed through wheat fields and villages, gradually slowed down, and stopped at King's Cross Station.
