Chapter 353 Nymphadora Tonks

Ever since Sirius Black escaped from prison, everyone has become busy, including Diana.

She is not at home today and there is no one in the house.

As soon as Chris came back, he went straight to the study and continued writing his report. Judging from his appearance, he would probably stay up all night today.

A "tree fork" dangled onto Kyle's shoulder...

"Long time no see, Groot."

"And you, Tom...wait, why do I feel like you're fatter than you were a month ago?"

Tom the Kneazle originally wanted to come over to greet him, but after hearing this, he turned around and left, leaving Kyle with his tail raised high.

Kyle didn't care. After saying hello to the two animal members of the family, he went back to the upstairs room, opened the box, and poured some of the things inside onto the table.

This is one of the reasons why I don't want to live in the Leaky Cauldron.

Aurors have so many different abilities, like Mad-Eye Moody, who has a magical eye that can see through everything.

Although he had retired long ago, no one knew if there were other Aurors with similar abilities.

Just in case, after discovering they were in the Leaky Cauldron, Kyle had switched his suitcase to Muggle mode, which was very inconvenient.

It's so good now. At least he doesn't have to worry about someone suddenly breaking into his room and forcibly searching the box.

Newt had encountered this situation when he was young. Although he was in another country at that time, he still had to be on guard.

After all, there is a fire dragon in his box. If this thing is discovered, he might have to face the same treatment as Sirius Black.

Kyle walked over to the table and sat down, pouring all the dragon's blood he had harvested in Romania into the little bottles he had bought in Diagon Alley.

The previous bottles were too big, so this is more convenient to use. There were also other materials, herbs, souvenirs and the like, so Kyle sorted them out separately before putting them back into the box.

Because there were so many things, and Bowtruckle and Niffler were also messing around, it was already late at night when Kyle finished cleaning up.

After being away from home for a month, Kyle just lay down on the familiar bed and felt sleepy.

The next morning, Chris dropped him off at King's Cross Station with a messy head of hair.

"Are you going to wait here for the Weasleys?"

In front of platform 9, Chris rubbed his eyes and said, "I think we should be faster than them."

"In fact, Mr. Chris, they entered the platform five minutes ago."

A laughing voice came from behind them.

They both turned around at the same time and found a strange witch standing behind them.

"You are..." Chris frowned.

"Oh, I almost forgot." The witch shook her head quickly.

Her face began to rapidly grow younger, and her hair changed from chestnut to a very light blue.

"I should have thought of that earlier." Chris rubbed his forehead, "Long time no see, Tonks."

"Not long." Nymphadora Tonks said with a smile, "We just met last night, but you didn't recognize me."

That was the old witch who sat there drinking mead last night.

“It’s not easy to spot a Metamorphmagus in a crowd.” Chris smiled and patted Kyle’s shoulder, “This is my son, Kyle.

Kyle, this is Nymphadora Tonks, the youngest Auror at the Ministry of Magic."

After hearing Chris' words, Tonks' hair quickly turned into a bubblegum pink and white.

But the strange thing is that no one noticed this among the pedestrians coming and going around.

Kyle nodded as well.

He had indeed met Tonks, but not well.

Although they were all in Hufflepuff, Tonks had already become an apprentice Auror in her seventh year and was rarely in school.

Kyle had only met her once during the Sorting, that was all.

"I almost forgot, you are only six years older than Kyle." Chris rubbed his head.

Seeing his exhausted face, Tonks asked curiously, "How many reports did you write yesterday?"

"Eight copies." Chris sighed, "I started writing it yesterday at noon and only finished it half an hour ago."

"I just went to Romania. Is it necessary to write so much?"

"I don't know why, but since last year, I've had to write more and more reports."

"We do too." Tonks' hair turned gray again. "I never thought that becoming an Auror would require me to deal with reports every day... I spend more time in the office than on missions."

Tonks complained a few more times until a tall wizard came over, then she shut up and pretended nothing had happened.

"Kingsley!" Chris greeted.

This is the man who was reading the newspaper in the Leaky Cauldron yesterday.

However, Kyle did not participate in their subsequent conversation.

The train was about to leave at this time, and when Kingsley came over, he had already passed through the wall and entered Station 9.

The Hogwarts Express was still parked in its old spot, belching smoke, and the platform was packed with people coming to pick up their children.

Fred and George appeared on Kyle's left and right.

"Why are you so late? The train is about to leave." said Fred.

"We thought you were going to Hogwarts in a flying car, too." George put his arm around his shoulders.

"We just ran into someone we know outside and wasted a little time." Kyle said, "You should know Nymphadora Tonks."

"Of course, the Metamorphmagus."

"He was a famous figure a few years ago."

"But I remember he's already an Auror..." Fred thought for a moment and said, "I guess it's because of that Sirius Black that she came to King's Cross Station."

"Are you afraid that he will mingle with the students' parents?"

"This is the only explanation that makes sense."

"Do they think Black will go to Hogwarts?"

At this moment, a loud whistle sounded, and Fred and George stopped discussing Tonks and walked quickly towards the train with Kyle.

The guard on the platform was closing the doors one by one. The three of them quickened their pace and finally got on the train before him.

"You must go see Percy."

In the hallway, Fred smiled wickedly: "We modified his badge."

"He still hasn't noticed that the words on the badge have turned into an enormous head."
