Chapter 425 Quidditch Final

The next day was the day of the game. After Kyle and the Hufflepuff players finished their breakfast, they went to the Quidditch field together.

"Good luck, Kyle," Connor called out, waving, and Kyle waved back.

After changing their clothes, they walked out of the locker room and onto the court, where they were greeted by waves of noisy noise.

This was the last game of the year, and there were a lot of spectators in the stands. Almost everyone in the castle was there.

Even Dumbledore was sitting in the middle of the teachers' seats, talking and laughing to Professor McGonagall.

As for Professor Snape and Professor Sprout, they were not among them. They sat at the front of their respective colleges, with clear positions.

"The Hufflepuff team is on the field!" Lee Jordan, who was the commentator as usual, shouted, "In the front are the captain Cedric and Kyle... This is a team that always brings surprises. I feel that they can break the record for the fastest capture of the Golden Snitch today!"

"The Slytherin team on the other side is led by Marcus Flint..."

As he spoke, both teams had already arrived at the center of the court.

"Captains shake hands!" said Madam Hooch.

Flint and Cedric stepped forward and shook hands.

Then with a whistle, the competition began, and fifteen brooms, including Madam Hooch's, flew into the sky at the same time.

"Now Hufflepuff has the ball. Kyle is as strong as ever. He gets the Quaffle first... Slytherin's Warrington tries to intercept... Wow, this Bludger is great, Warrington stops it... Beautiful, Kyle dribbles past Montague again, he scores, Hufflepuff takes the lead!"

As the Quaffle passed through the goal, there was a roar of joy from the Hufflepuff supporters...

In comparison, the voices from Gryffindor were a little quieter... They would rather see the game become tense, so that Gryffindor would have a chance to win the championship in the end.

On the court, Kyle, who had just scored, was about to return, but when he turned around, he saw Flint rushing towards him.

Kyle turned his broom just in time to avoid being knocked off the ground.

"Sorry!" Flint grinned, "Sorry, I didn't notice there were people here!"

"It's okay." Kyle smiled, "It's normal to play Quidditch."

Flint didn't take it seriously at first, but he soon understood what Kyle meant.

During one attack, he was hit hard by the Quaffle with such force that he almost thought it was a Bludger.

"Foul!" Flint pointed at Kyle and roared at Madam Hooch, "He did it on purpose. Slytherin should take the free throw!"

But his request was rejected.

"No, that was a normal pass!" Madam Hooch shouted. "You suddenly appeared in the middle. The game continues."

Flint's face turned red with anger and he waved his fists angrily.

Pass the ball?

Does it take that much strength to pass the ball? He felt like the Quaffle could even be thrown out of the court! At this time, Kyle had already scored the second goal.

20 to 0.

Seeing Hufflepuff take such an early lead, the Slytherin players became furious and soon began to fight for the Quaffle by any means necessary.

Boll hit Grace with a bat, and when he was discovered, he argued that he thought she was a Bludger. Mikel was so angry that he supported himself with a broom and kicked him in the face.

"Oh, this move is amazing, I must learn it... I'm just kidding, Professor McGonagall... I mean, this behavior is wrong, you should use your elbow secretly..."

"Jordan!" Professor McGonagall stood up.

"I'm sorry, professor, I'm sorry, never again..." Li Qiaodan said quickly: "Ms. Huo Qi will award each team one free throw..."

Both sides made the free throws, and the score came to 30 to 10.

"Slytherin has the ball now. No, Hufflepuff took it away. It was Grace. No!... Slytherin took the ball back and Flint almost knocked her off her broom... Flint flew towards the Hufflepuff goal... Watch out!"

But Flint scored, and there was a cheer from the Slytherin end, and Snape, who was at the front, also showed a gloomy smile.

Next, Slytherin repeated his old trick.

Montague turned to Kyle and pretended to grab the Quaffle, but his hand reached for Kyle's broom...

It was strange, how could the Bowtruckle be in the broom... Before Meng Tai could figure out the problem, he saw the Bowtruckle stretch out its sharp claws and stab his fingers.

Mr. Meng subconsciously retracted his hand, but because he moved too quickly, his body swayed and he almost fell off the broom.

"Foul!" Mrs. Monty steadied herself and shouted triumphantly, "Ms. Hooch, there's something in his broom, foul!"

Madam Hooch flew over but found nothing, and because his action of grabbing the broom was too obvious, Hufflepuff was given a free throw.

"What a shame..." Kyle, who scored a free throw, whispered as he passed by Monta.

Meng Tai was so angry that his whole body was shaking and his eyes seemed to be spewing fire.

Next, Kyle and Grace each scored a goal.

60 to 20.

Hufflepuff has a bigger advantage.

There was silence in the Gryffindor stands. There was no cheering for the goal as before.

Wood grabbed his hair, and Fred and George also sat there, staring at the game in a daze.

Hufflepuff had 60 points, which meant that if the Golden Snitch's 150 points were added, their total score would exceed Gryffindor's.

Fred and George had mixed feelings.

They wanted to win the Quidditch Cup, but they didn't want to see Slytherin win...

Not only them, but others also thought of this. Even Lee Jordan spoke in a much lower voice when he was commenting.

But the game continues...

Kyle scored again, 70-20.

Later, Mikel used a Bludger to knock the Quaffle out of Warrington's hand. Grace seized the opportunity, stepped forward to grab the ball, and threw it into the Slytherin goal.

80 to 20.

The Hufflepuff fans below were all becoming hoarse with their voices. Professor Sprout was now at the front, drawing a giant Hufflepuff badger in the air with his wand.

At this moment, a golden light suddenly flashed.

Many people saw it... the Golden Snitch, hovering just a few feet above the ground.

Almost at the same time, Malfoy and Cedric moved.

They accelerated sharply and dived towards the Snitch.

When they were close to the ground, the two of them were already side by side, and they jumped forward at the same time...

There was total silence around, and everyone was nervously waiting for the result.

Finally, Cedric stretched out his hand, revealing a flickering golden color between his fingers.

With his height advantage, he was the first to catch the Golden Snitch.

"Congratulations to Hufflepuff..." Lee Jordan's voice was a little choked, but he still said loudly: "They won the final victory and got the Quidditch Cup!"

Hufflepuff supporters rushed over the fence and onto the pitch.

As soon as Kyle landed, he was picked up along with the other players and lifted high.

He saw Hagrid wiping his tears, and Professor Sprout jumping up and down with excitement...she didn't look like a professor at all now.

Dumbledore was standing in the stands, holding the huge Quidditch trophy in his hands, smiling at them.
