Chapter 428: Money Making Plan

While waiting for the results, many people did not want to stay in the castle, but preferred to stay outside in the field until dark.

For example, Kyle and Cedric.

After lunch, they sat around the Black Lake and discussed their plans for the upcoming holiday.

"Will you all be going to watch the Quidditch World Cup this year?" Cedric asked excitedly. "I can't believe they chose this place for the finals... Don't forget, we haven't hosted a tournament in 30 years."

"Of course I'm going." Fred also looked very excited. He had been dealing with textbooks every day for the past month, and that boring life was almost driving him crazy.

The Quidditch World Cup couldn't come at a better time.

"Dad should be able to get some tickets," George said, "and if there are any extras, I can keep them for you so you don't have to spend money to buy them."

Tickets to the Quidditch World Cup are still very expensive.

Cedric went to see it once before the start of the second grade. According to him, they only bought two very marginal seats for a hundred Galleons.

From that position, the only way to see the players on the field is through a telescope.

But even so, tickets are still in short supply.

Fortunately, they are hosting the competition this year, and as an employee of the Ministry of Magic, there are always some privileges.

"My dad should be able to get the tickets, too," Cedric said. "He has a good relationship with the people at the Department of Magical Games and Sports. I can try to get him to get two more tickets.

Kyle, you should be able to... um, what are you thinking about?"

"What?" Hearing someone calling him, Kyle suddenly raised his head and said, "Oh, it's okay, give the extra tickets to Kanna and Qiu, I'm fine."

"What were you thinking about just now?" Cedric asked.

"Thinking about how to make money." Kyle touched his chin and was about to continue speaking when he suddenly saw Professor Lupin walking towards him.

He seemed to have just come back from outside, and his expression was solemn and as if he was worried about something. He didn't even notice that there were a few people sitting in front of him.

"Professor Lupin!"

Kyle shouted, he seemed to be startled, he quickly raised his head, and he was extremely nervous.

But soon, Professor Lupin discovered Kyle and his companions, as well as Cedric who was a few inches away from his toes.

If Kyle hadn't shouted just now, he would probably have kicked the other person.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Diggory." Professor Lupin said quickly, "I was thinking about something and didn't notice there was someone in front of me."

"It's okay, Professor." Cedric said nonchalantly, "Are you here to relax by the Black Lake as well?"

"ah?"

Professor Lupin was stunned for a moment, then he realized that the road in front of him did not lead to the castle. He was going in the wrong direction.

"Yes... yes, you are right. I came here to relax." Professor Lupin said hesitantly, "But I have to go back now. I still have a lot of things to do..."

After saying that, he turned and walked towards the castle.

"How strange..." Cedric muttered softly, "Why do I feel like there's something wrong with Professor Lupin? He wasn't like this before."

"Who knows? He's probably a little scared." Fred shrugged. "Don't forget the Defense Against the Dark Arts curse. It's the end of the school year now, so it's normal for him to be nervous."

Others also thought it made sense, so they didn't take it too seriously.

As soon as he left, George asked eagerly, "By the way, Kyle, tell me about your plan. How are we going to make money?"

Kyle retracted his gaze from the castle and continued, "Remember those cheering props we sold to the fans of each college?"

"Of course." Fred said with a smile, "Those things made us a lot of money."

"That's all I have to say."

Kyle said, "It's the Quidditch World Cup. The number of people who will go to watch the game will be far greater than the number of students in the castle... If we make some fireworks in advance that can explode into shamrocks, Irish flags, badges, etc...."

"That will definitely sell out!" Fred and George's eyes became brighter and brighter, and they pounded the grass in frustration at the same time.

They were so busy looking forward to the game that they forgot such an important thing.

The Quidditch World Cup is one of the biggest events in the wizarding world. I believe that people who go to watch the game will not mind spending a little money to buy some souvenirs.

If their product is attractive enough, it's almost like picking up money.

As they thought about this, their eyes seemed to gradually turn into the shape of gold Galleons.

"What do you think?" Cedric asked, and Qiu and Kanna on the side also looked over with interest.

While watching the game, you can also earn some pocket money. No one wants to miss this good thing.

"Let's start with the simple ones, such as fireworks that can be fired continuously and flags that move..." Kyle said, "Now there is only a little over a month before the competition starts, we have to make as many as possible."

"Leave the fireworks to us." George patted his chest, "This is what we are best at."

"I think a badge that can amplify sound would also work." Fred added: "We learned this magic formula in the ancient runes class last month, and it just happens to come in handy."

Cedric nodded beside him, they learned it together.

"Then add it, but don't make it too complicated, otherwise it will take up too much time," said Kyle.

"How about hairpins and hats?" Kanna also said, "These are simple enough and obvious enough, and should be popular with many people."

Several people sat by the lake, discussing excitedly, and didn't even notice that it was getting darker.

Until a splash of water inexplicably poured over their heads.

"Is it raining?" George jumped up from the ground with wet hair.

But when he looked up, he found that although the sky was dark, it was clear and he could see the stars. There was no sign of rain at all.

However, Kyle noticed that on the quiet lake surface, a long tentacle was retracting. Obviously, the splash just now was the giant squid reminding them that it was time to return to the castle.

"Oh my God, is it so late?" Qiu said subconsciously.

"Did we miss dinner?"

"Probably not yet, I didn't notice it at all..."

Several people quickly stood up and walked back to the castle.

Fortunately, dinner had just begun and the auditorium was brightly lit and full of people. Because it was a holiday, everyone looked very happy and the auditorium was very lively.
