Chapter 451 Bill and Charlie

Kyle stayed at home in St. Catchpole Village for the next few days. He didn't go anywhere. He usually did his homework or made small props for cheering in the attic with Fred and George.

Occasionally Cedric would come.

Because not only Chris, but also Mr. Weasley and Mr. Diggory started to get busy.

Because of this, Fred and George often complained that they had to get up two hours earlier to have breakfast every day.

"Percy is quite happy." Sitting in the attic, Fred couldn't help but say while fiddling with a newly made firework. "I think he would like to live in the Ministry of Magic all day long."

George nodded beside him. "He has started working now at the Department of International Magical Cooperation. Remember not to mention anything related to "abroad" if you don't want to be annoyed to death by him."

"Does he discuss work matters with you at home?" Cedric asked curiously, "I think that's quite interesting."

His dad never told him anything about work... unless he was drinking.

So usually, Cedric could only ask about things that interested him when he was half drunk and half awake.

"Work? Not really." Fred curled his lips. "I don't think the Ministry of Magic would let a new employee deal with the affairs of the International Confederation of Magic."

"And they probably have no interest in the bottom of the cauldron." George couldn't help laughing and said, "I didn't realize before that Percy actually liked Potions so much."

"The bottom of the crucible?" Cedric asked in confusion, "What does this mean?"

"Percy has become obsessed with it lately," George shrugged. "I think he's thinking of holding a cauldron exhibition and is trying to find something suitable to exhibit."

"Perhaps he wants to become the Director of the Department of International Magical Cooperation directly through this exhibition..."

"Or the Minister of Magic..."

"Yeah... the bottom of the crucible is too thin, Fudge can't discover such a terrible thing!"

When it comes to Percy, Fred and George always find endless topics and fun to talk about.

"Luckily, we only have to put up with him for another month."

Fred carefully placed a finished firework into the box next to him. These will all be turned into Galleons in the future, so they are very concerned about it.

In such a happy atmosphere, time passed quickly, and sometimes Kyle couldn't help but look in the direction of London, wondering how Sirius was doing now.

It has been more than half a month since they returned from the cave. During this time, Kyle received no news from Grimmauld Place 12 except for a brief reply from Lupin on the day he returned.

"It should be alright..." Kyle thought to himself, "Lupin will definitely not kill me. As for the rest, Sirius will get through it if he holds on."

Just like that, half of the holiday passed quickly, and the last day of July was Kyle's birthday.

Early in the morning of that day, a large group of owls flew over from all over, bringing gifts from friends.

On this day, Kyle finally received a reply from Sirius...

He delivered a large package filled with all kinds of herbs...almost all that could be bought in Diagon Alley were in it. Most of them were flowers and leaves, three of each kind. The poisonous ones were even wrapped in extra packaging, and it was obvious that they were made by Lupin.

After all, Sirius is not so careful. If it were him, he would probably just pile up the herbs after buying them and pack them all up and send them over.

Besides, he is still wanted and cannot go to Diagon Alley.

Kyle picked up a bag of Beebe's Every Flavour Beans and ate it while opening the rest of the presents.

When I was halfway through eating the beans, I suddenly heard a rustling sound downstairs.

Kyle leaned his head out of the window and saw four striking red-haired people at a glance.

Fred was now at the front with a huge cream cake, he looked up and smiled, "Happy birthday, Kyle!"

Behind him came George, and the other two Weasleys.

"Charlie, Bill?" Kyle asked with some surprise, "When did you come back?"

"Wait a moment."

Kyle put down the presents he hadn't yet opened, went downstairs and opened the door for them.

"Happy birthday." A piece of cream cake was thrown directly at him, almost hitting him in the face.

It goes without saying that Fred must have done it on purpose to scare him...

"You should be glad that your mother is not here, otherwise she would be angry." Charlie pulled him back and walked forward to hug Kyle.

"Happy birthday."

He looked darker than he had last year, and had a new scar on his arm.

Bill also walked up and patted him on the shoulder with a smile.

“Long time no see, little Kyle… Oh no, now I should call you the respected member of Merlin’s Order.

Oh my god, a second-class medal, when I first heard the news, I thought it was some old wizard with the same name."

"Too bad you guessed wrong," Kyle laughed.

Bill's change is the biggest.

After graduation, he seemed to have completely let himself go.

Her short hair had grown long and was tied into a ponytail at the back of her head. She also wore an earring on her ear with something like a small fan hanging from it.

He didn't look like a wizard, but more like a rock music fan. The only difference was that he was wearing a pair of dragon leather boots.

"Is it weird?" Bill shook his long hair.

"A little, but not much."

This was Bill's character, and they had known it for a long time. Mrs. Weasley used to cut his hair once a year... The habit of bringing hair-cutting tools to the platform at the beginning of the school year was left over from that time.

Kyle stepped aside and let them into the living room.

Fred put the cake on the table while Kyle grabbed some drinks.

"Would you like some wine?" He took out a bottle from the cabinet, looked at Bill and Charlie and asked, "No, Mom won't let us... wait." Charlie had just said halfway through his refusal when he noticed a big number on the bottle in Kyle's hand.

“How old is this whiskey?”

"It's written right here, one hundred and fifty years." Kyle pointed at the number on the bottle. "Real aged fire whiskey, a gift from the Romanian Ministry of Magic."

"Oh... then have some." Charlie pursed his lips.

"But are you sure you won't get beaten after giving this to us?" Bill asked with a strange expression.

This is real good stuff. In the Leaky Cauldron, the best stock is only a hundred years old, and it is very difficult to buy. Even if ordinary people wave a handful of Galleons, Old Tom will not take it out.

Not to mention one hundred and fifty years.

"Of course not, don't worry." Kyle said, "My father rarely drinks alone, and you haven't come back together for a long time. I guess he will invite you and Mr. Weasley to have a drink together at dinner tonight.

I just brought the time forward a little bit.”

"Then I'll have some too." Bill conjured himself an elegant cup.

Fred and George also wanted to try it, so they imitated him and conjured up a cup, but Kyle pretended not to see it and just threw two bottles of juice over.
