Chapter 473: Angry Tonks

Soon, a blue car drove over from a distance.

At this time, the Ministry's cars were in short supply. When Fudge learned that Harry was also here, he directly ordered the best car to be brought over.

This can probably be considered as returning a favor.

After returning from the Ministry of Magic that day, Harry stayed at the Burrow and never revealed the fact that he had been assassinated, thus saving the Ministry of Magic a lot of trouble.

In return, borrowing a car to go to the station was not worth mentioning, and Fudge had no reason to disagree.

It is also safer.

They have confirmed that the Ministry of Magic staff member who wanted to assassinate Harry was indeed under the Imperius Curse. In order to prevent any accidents from happening before Harry returned to Hogwarts, Fudge even sent an Auror as a driver.

It’s just that this Auror doesn’t seem very reliable.

Tonks, with her fiery red hair, was obviously in a bad mood. She kept talking all the way, either cursing people or the car. Even Bill, who was sitting next to her, was not spared... because he did not join in cursing the guy who crossed the road.

Ginny sat behind her, folding her arms and shivering, not daring to breathe, for fear that Tonks would turn around and take her with her.

The start of school is never a happy event, and with such a bad-tempered driver, the car was extremely quiet the entire way, so quiet it was scary.

Fortunately, half an hour later, they finally arrived at King's Cross Station.

Tonks was the first to get out of the car, and the moment the door opened her hair changed from red to a bright bubble pink.

"We're here."

She patted the car door and said with a smile: "Everyone get off the car, remember to take your luggage with you, don't forget anything."

Everyone got out of the car without saying a word, took out their luggage from the trunk, and then walked quickly towards the station.

No one spoke during this time. Even Fred and George, who usually liked to make noise, remained quiet for a rare time.

It was not until they passed through the wall and walked onto Platform 9 that Fred breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Merlin is my witness, I will never ride in Tonks' car again, ever!"

"If it happens again, I'd rather walk over from home!" said George.

The others nodded in agreement.

"Okay, let's go." Mrs. Weasley said beside her: "The Tonks are nice people... Of course, provided they don't drive." She added silently in her heart.

It was also the first time that Mrs. Weasley knew that Tonks could be so irritable while driving. She was like a completely different person.

She wanted to remind Tonks several times to pay attention to her image, but she couldn't find a chance to interrupt. She finally said it, but Tonks, who was still angry, didn't hear it.

In the end, she could only sigh silently and pretend that she heard nothing.

On the platform, the Hogwarts Express was already parked there.

"Oh, I wish I could go back to Hogwarts this year," said Bill, with his hands in his pockets, looking at the crimson train with a somewhat melancholy look on his face.

"Why..." George asked.

"You're going to have an interesting year." Bill's eyes sparkled. "I might take some time off to watch some of it..."

"Part of what..." Fred was a little impatient.

It had been like this since the holidays, Mr. Weasley, Bill, Charlie, Percy... everyone was playing dumb.

But no matter how he asked, Bill just smiled and said nothing.

Kyle knew that this was another one of the wizards' bad taste, just like the sorting of freshmen... the so-called surprise.

Tsk, it's just the Triwizard Tournament, what's the big deal... So when George looked over, he shrugged and said, "Don't look at me, I don't know either."

Just then, the starting whistle sounded.

They hurried aboard the train and leaned out of the windows to talk to Mrs. Weasley and Bill.

"Thank you for letting us stay, Mrs. Weasley!" Cho said, waving her hand.

"Oh, I'd love to, dear," said Mrs. Weasley. "I'd like to have you over for Christmas, but... I don't think you'd want to, for... one reason or another."

Ron wanted to ask more, but the train had already started and his words were drowned out by the whistle.

Kyle and his friends returned to the box. Fred and George kept complaining that everyone had kept them in the dark.

The corners of Cedric's mouth twitched, and he turned his face away, trying not to laugh. Obviously, he knew it too, but he was not going to tell them either.

In fact, it’s quite interesting to see Fred and George like this.

After the train drove for a while, it started to rain again. The dense raindrops hit the glass windows, making it difficult for them to see the scenery outside.

"Where's Kanna?"

At this time, Qiu suddenly asked: "Didn't she get on the train?"

"I think she should be in another car now." Cedric said, looking at Kyle, "Take it out quickly, we should go over too."

"Take out what..." Fred asked subconsciously.

Then he saw Kyle pull an envelope from his pocket.

"bite!"

As Kyle opened the envelope, a round object fell onto the table.

"Oh, damn!" Fred and George's faces suddenly became uglier, as if they had eaten a handful of beef liver-flavored beans.

They were very familiar with this thing. Percy had shown it off countless times in the past two years.

Prefect badge!

"Oh, it's great to have another prefect among us..." George drawled.

"No, it should be two." Qiu smiled and pinned his prefect badge on his robes.

Looking at Fred and George again, their faces had turned liver color.

The two have always believed and firmly believed that they would never want to be class leaders in their lifetime, but now this idea has been shaken.

Who would have thought that, except for the two of them, the others in the group of six were actually class leaders.

This is a bit too much. Can we still play together in the future?

However, this was not the end. Kyle and his companions seemed to be showing off intentionally. They walked around in front of them for a long time wearing their class leader badges and refused to leave.

Fred and George were so angry that they picked up their luggage on the spot, pushed open the door of the box and went to find Lee Jordan.

The class leaders are really amazing, can’t they just leave?

There was a burst of joyful laughter in the box.

"Are we going a little too far?" asked the honest man Qiu in a low voice.

"Don't worry, they are not so petty." Kyle said, patting his box, "and I have a way to make them forget the unpleasantness of today and be willing to call us prefects."

The three of them left the box with a smile and walked towards the prefect's carriage at the front.

Kanna was indeed here. After seeing Kyle and Qiu, she immediately relaxed a lot, although she was originally a little nervous.

"What took you so long?" she asked.

"It's to surprise Fred and George, of course," Kyle said. "You really should have come with us, so it would be more neat."

"What?" Kanna didn't understand.

Qiu walked up to her and whispered something to her, and soon, Kanna couldn't help laughing.

"Aren't you afraid they'll change your badge to 'Big Head Boy'?" Connor said, "Just like Percy."

"Don't be afraid." Kyle waved his hand confidently, "They don't stand a chance."
