Chapter 488 Portrait Game

It was already evening when Kyle returned to Hogwarts.

Sirius, the prodigal son, bought a lot of things from Diagon Alley and asked him to bring them back, one for him and one for Harry.

Maybe it was because he could finally appear in the sun openly, Kyle always felt that he had some revenge consumption intentions.

What kind of good person can buy something worth more than 2,000 Galleons in Diagon Alley?

And that pure gold crucible... is that thing really used to make potions? You'd be heartbroken if you scratched it.

But there's nothing we can do, Sirius insists on buying it and won't let him go...this thing is such a waste of money.

Just like when they left, they Apparated back to the principal's office.

"Ha ha ha ha!"

As soon as Kyle came back, he heard a burst of excited laughter, but the laughter was too unpleasant, just like a goose with its neck pinched. "Ahahaha... Dumbledore, I heard everything from that old woman."

On the wall, the portrait of Phineas Black said proudly, "My great-grandson was acquitted, right... Haha... I knew that there would never be a traitor in the Black family.

The Ministry of Magic is getting worse and worse because those idiots can't even see this obvious frame-up... But this Minister is not bad, at least he can distinguish right from wrong."

There was no one in the portraits around him. Everyone stood far away and looked at him as if he were a mentally retarded person.

"Shut up, Phineas." A bearded wizard couldn't help but said, "It's okay for you to lie to others, but don't lie to yourself. You haven't forgotten how you scolded Sirius Black in the past, do you want us to help you recall it?"

"Yeah..." A witch sneered, "You cursed so vigorously at that time, and now you are still talking about others. You are really shameless."

"Impossible, you must have heard it wrong." Phineas said with his neck stiff, "I've said it many times, how could I possibly doubt someone from the Black family!"

"Hehe..." Everyone sneered in unison.

At this time, a tall and thin black-haired witch quietly came behind Phineas, holding a round shield that she had stolen from somewhere.

While Phineas was talking, she simply raised her hand and smashed his head with her shield.

"Who did you just call an old woman?"

Phineas was stunned by the blow and sat down on the ground, not recovering for a long time.

Seeing this, the others rushed forward and started punching and kicking him.

There's no particular reason, it's just pure muscle memory. Beating up Phineas when they have nothing to do has almost become the portraits' favorite game.

Suddenly, there was a sound of fists hitting flesh and someone's screaming.

"Professor, you must have a very interesting life." Kyle couldn't help but laugh.

"Ah, yes? It is wonderful indeed." Dumbledore found a piece of velvet from the table and walked towards the busiest portrait. "But sometimes they are too noisy.

Oh, you're still going to look for Harry, aren't you? Go ahead, I remember the password to the common room is gibberish."

"Okay." Kyle nodded and opened the door next to him. "Well, goodbye, Professor, and Fox..."

The headmaster's office is not far from the Gryffindor common room. Just walk straight along the corridor and turn at the end.

"Password!" the Fat Lady asked dutifully.

“Nonsense,” Kyle said.

But the Fat Lady did not open the door, but looked at him suspiciously.

It seems that after Sir Cadogan was expelled last school year, she has become much more cautious.

"I guess you must have picked up a piece of paper with a password written on it somewhere and found it interesting, so you came here."

"Yes, I'm a Hufflepuff." Kyle said, "But the password was given to me by the headmaster. I just came out of the headmaster's office and I have something to talk to Harry Potter about."

"Principal?" The Fat Lady was still a little skeptical, but her tone finally softened a little.

"Don't do anything that violates school rules," she reminded him, "or you'll never be able to pass through this door again."

"Don't worry." Kyle said with a smile, "I have never violated any school rules.

"By the way, the other principals are playing games with Principal Black right now. If you go over now, you should still have time."

The Fat Lady's eyes lit up.

"Kid, I take back what I said. You must be an excellent little wizard."

With that, she disappeared from the portrait and opened the door for Kyle.

Kyle walked in through the back passage.

Today is the weekend and there are quite a few people in the common room.

Kyle took a quick look and soon spotted a familiar trio sitting at a table in the corner.

Hermione was doing her homework while Ron and Harry were playing wizard chess and discussing how they could make themselves look a year older.

"I think the aging potion is a good choice." Ron ate one of Harry's chess pieces and said, "Fred told me that he can brew this potion, and one bottle can add exactly one year to your age.

It’s just a little expensive, it costs ten Galleons.”

"Ten Galleons?" said Harry. "That's not cheap."

"But I am their younger brother after all." Ron said proudly, "If I want to buy it, it only costs five Galleons. They said that this is the cost price of the materials, and they won't make a single Knut.

But I think this is right... General!"

Ron commanded the knight to come to King Harry's side before continuing, "If only there was some way to make some money. I don't even have five Galleons right now."

"I can buy two." Harry moved his king one space, "Should... but you don't want a present for Christmas."

"That makes sense." Ron said with a smile, "Or if I win the championship, I'll have the money to pay you back. That's a thousand Galleons."

"Yeah," said Harry. "I wish we could both be warriors."

"This is impossible..." Hermione looked up, "The book says that each house can only have one champion, and it has always been like this...Oh, Kyle, why are you here?"

"That's enough, Hermione." Ron put down the chess piece in his hand. "I know Kyle is very good and has always been the top student in the grade, but that doesn't mean he will definitely become a warrior. I still have a chance."

"You misunderstood." Harry patted him quickly, put down the chess piece in his hand, stood up and said to Kyle who was walking towards him: "Welcome to the Gryffindor common room, are you here to see Fred and George?

"But they have been staying in the lobby on the first floor since lunch and haven't come back. You can look for them there."
