Chapter 558 The Magical Crown

The next day was the Easter holiday, and Kyle got up early and left the common room.

He first found Helena in the castle tower with the help of the fat monk, and then arrived at Hogsmeade Station before nine o'clock.

I don't know if it's because of the Triwizard Tournament, but not many people went home for the Easter holiday this year, and Kyle was the only one in the prefect's box.

But it's good this way, no need to look for somewhere else.

As the train doors closed and were about to start, Kyle took out the door key that Dumbledore had given him yesterday and whispered.

"Nicolas Flamel..."

The whistle that just sounded in his ears stopped abruptly. When Kyle opened his eyes again, he was already at the entrance of a familiar manor. In front of him was the majestic manor gate and two lifelike fire dragon statues.

Kyle walked over curiously. He remembered Nico saying that these two statues were among his most satisfying works in recent centuries.

However, Kyle did not see what was so magical about these two statues. They felt like the same stone statues in the castle. The only difference was that there were many more complicated magic symbols on the statues in front of him.

"Welcome, sir!"

There was a sharp sound in my ears.

The house-elf Tata was standing there, bowing to Kyle.

"The master asked Tata to pick up the gentleman."

"Thank you, Tata," Kyle said.

Although I have been invited by Nico, I still feel more at ease here with the house-elf leading the way.

"It is Tata's pleasure," said the house-elf.

Then he took Kyle into the manor, through the front yard and the entrance hall, and down a long corridor, and stopped at the door of a very inconspicuous room.

Tata took the initiative to go forward and knock on the door.

Soon, the door opened.

Kell also saw Nicolas Flamel, but not in person, but through a mirror.

The mirror reflected Nico's image, which looked a bit like the portraits in the principal's office.

"Nice to see you, Kyle." Nicolas Flamel in the mirror turned around and said, "The refining of the Philosopher's Stone has reached the most critical moment, and I can't leave.

Luckily, I made this before.”

As he was speaking, Nico in the mirror suddenly emerged from the mirror, and his entire body passed through the table and came in front of Kyle.

"Another use for the Pensieve," he explained. "What you're looking at is just a memory."

Of course, even if he didn't explain, Kyle could tell that the Nico in front of him was fake.

In addition to his body passing through the table, the real Nico couldn't walk that fast.

While the two were talking, Tata had quietly left the room and closed the door.

"You have received the letter I wrote to you, right?" Nico said.

Kyle nodded.

"Then... come here."

Nico led Kyle forward to a shelf. On the middle grid of the shelf was a purple velvet cushion, and on the cushion was an exquisite crown.

Ravenclaw's Diadem.

The previous rust has disappeared, revealing its original appearance.

The whole thing is silver in color, and looks like a raven with its wings spread. The middle part…which is the part of the raven’s body, is a complete sapphire.

The repaired crown looked ordinary. Kyle could not feel any magic on it at all. It was like an exquisitely crafted ornament.

"The most perfect alchemy technique will hardly cause any loss of magic power." Nico exclaimed: "It took me nearly three hundred years to achieve this.

"I think you have guessed who the lady I mentioned in the letter is."

“I’ve got a name in mind,” Kyle said, “but I’m not sure…it’s incredible.”

"But I think you should do better than me... after all, you've already met her once."

"So, it's really Rowena Ravenclaw?" Kyle asked.

"Who else could it be but her?" Nico said with a smile, "There's no way Albus' voice can be heard in the tiara."

"That's really scary." Kyle also laughed.

Dumbledore still doesn't know that the diadem has been found, and neither Kyle nor Nico has revealed a word.

After all, the crown was strictly speaking the property of the school. What if he insisted on taking it back? On this point, the two of them were surprisingly in sync.

"Well, Ms. Ravenclaw seems to want to talk to you alone, so I won't bother you...just put the tiara on your head."

Then Nico disappeared, leaving only two faint flashes of light on the mirror against the wall.

Kyle looked at the crown in front of him and carefully removed it from the cushion.

The crown was not heavy, about the same weight as a normal book. Kyle took a long breath and put it on his head.

The world before my eyes seemed to become brighter all of a sudden.

Kyle felt that his mind was clearer than ever before, and some problems that had troubled him for a long time were instantly solved.

He knew why his "Vulcan Clearance" was so much worse than the one performed by Dumbledore himself. He had always thought it was a problem of magic, but it seemed not to be the case.

He didn't need to use magic power to maintain the shape and stability of the flame. That was a waste. He should have converted the magic power into guiding runes from the beginning.

In this way, he only needs to pull the spell, just like flying a kite, as long as the string is in his hand, the kite will not get out of control.

I see... No wonder Dumbledore had reminded him several times before to read the book more.

Kyle subconsciously turned his head and looked at the mirror on the wall.

In his eyes, the magic runes engraved on the frame suddenly came alive. They jumped and lined up in front of Kyle.

It was like a Quidditch game.

Some runes formed chasers, some formed seekers, and there were also golden snitches, quaffles, and bludgers.

They each perform their own functions and together they form a wonderful game.

And their role in the game is also clear at a glance.

"This is incredible..." Kyle muttered to himself.

“That’s because you already know this knowledge.”

A strange yet familiar cold female voice sounded in my ears.

"The crown cannot give people what they don't have. Even if a person who doesn't understand magic words wears the crown, he will never understand the function of this mirror."

Then, the flickering images in front of my eyes disappeared.

Kyle suddenly felt a strong sense of loss in his heart. He didn't want this magical state to disappear, but to keep it forever.

In a trance, there seemed to be a breeze blowing over. It was a dewy breeze in the early morning, very cool. The breeze blowing on his body made Kyle regain consciousness briefly.

"wrong!"

Kyle was breathing heavily, with cold sweat running down his forehead.

He finally understood what Nico meant by what he had said before. This feeling of being omniscient and omnipotent was truly irresistible.

He became so addicted after just a few seconds of experiencing it. If it lasted longer, after taking off the crown, he would definitely go crazy because he couldn't bear the huge gap.

Thinking of this, Kyle subconsciously reached out and tried to take the crown off his head.

But this thing seemed to be growing on his head and could not be pulled away at all.
