Chapter 626 Come and teach us

According to Cedric, this was the most awkward Charms class he had ever attended. Professor Flitwick had a stern face throughout the class, dealing with Umbridge's questions, and he had none of the enthusiasm he had in previous classes.

"We have to think of a solution." Cedric had no appetite at all during dinner and said worriedly, "If she continues like this, she will not only ruin Defense Against the Dark Arts, but also other subjects."

"It shouldn't be that serious." Kyle said, "The investigation of the professor shouldn't take too long. After all, it requires her to stay in different classrooms every day. Umbridge should have other things to do and won't spend all her time attending classes every day."

"I hope it's like you said." Cedric sighed, "In fact, even if Umbridge only destroyed one Defense Against the Dark Arts, it would be bad enough.

"The You-Know-Who has made a comeback, and his Death Eaters must be planning how to deal with us. But even at this most critical moment, we can't learn anything in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class."

Mikel and Ryan on the side nodded in agreement.

Cedric was right, they certainly couldn't deal with the mysterious man, and there was no need to do so, that was Headmaster Dumbledore's job.

But if a war really breaks out, those Death Eaters will not let them go just because they didn't learn Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts.

They need the ability to protect themselves.

Suddenly, sighs could be heard from all over the table.

Kyle didn't say anything. He thought about the last time he met Fudge at the Three Broomsticks.

Judging from Fudge's behavior at the time, he must have been moved.

If Fudge could announce the resurrection of the You-Know-Who on behalf of the Ministry of Magic, then the Defense Against the Dark Arts course would definitely change. At least they would be able to welcome one... or even multiple reliable professors.

But what Kyle didn't expect was that he could keep his composure and remain silent for such a long time.

Perhaps Fudge wanted to get rid of the threat of Dumbledore first.

Or maybe he is still hesitating...

After all, announcing Voldemort's resurrection has its pros and cons. Although there will be no change of power during wartime, if you are not careful, it may cause fear to everyone.

By then, he will most likely be ousted directly from office.

Being able to consider so much, it still doesn't seem stressful enough.

Kyle shook his head.

Unfortunately, Rita Skeeter has been targeted by the Ministry of Magic recently because of what happened last time, so she can no longer publish articles, and Dumbledore is unwilling to cooperate.

Otherwise, he might be able to find a way to help out and give Fudge a push.

"Feel sorry……"

Kyle was thinking about it when he suddenly heard a familiar voice.

When he looked up, he found that Hermione had come over from the Gryffindor table at some point, followed by Harry and Ron who looked a little nervous.

"What's up?" Kyle asked.

"It's like this..." Hermione glanced around and whispered, "There are too many people here. Can we go to a quieter place?"

"No need to go through so much trouble." Kyle took out his wand and tapped it lightly.

"Close your ears and plug your ears!" Kyle said, "Okay, now other people can't hear what we say."

Kyle learned this spell from Snape's Advanced Potion Making. It can mark out an area and fill the ears of everyone nearby with an unidentifiable buzzing sound, making it very effective in preventing eavesdropping.

Hermione was a little surprised and pleasantly surprised at the same time.

"That's right."

Although she had never seen this spell, she did not doubt Kyle's statement and said directly: "I think you should also know how bad Umbridge is. We can't learn any knowledge of defense against the dark arts from her."

"Of course." Kyle said, "In fact, we were just discussing this, so what do you want to say? "Let me state in advance that if you want us to unite and drive Umbridge out, forget it... She has Fudge's support behind her, which even Professor Dumbledore can't do."

Cedric suddenly became interested. "Do you mean that we learn Defense Against the Dark Arts on our own?"

"Yes, that's right," Hermione said, her tone suddenly becoming excited. "We need to be prepared for what's coming. I mean, we need to be able to protect ourselves, instead of just sitting in class and facing those theories and parchment.

"So we need a teacher, a proper teacher who can teach us how to use spells and correct us when we make mistakes, like Sirius or Professor Moody."

Hermione became more and more excited as she spoke, and would glance at Kyle from time to time.

"And we have such a person around us, and I dare say he is more suitable for this job than most people."

"I think I know who you are talking about." Cedric smiled, "You are right, he is indeed a good fit."

Kyle looked at Hermione's shining eyes and Cedric's malicious expression, and instantly understood what they meant.

So, out of instinct, before Hermione could speak, he said directly: "Yes, I fully support you, this is a good thing."

"So you agree?" said Hermione excitedly.

"Yes." Kyle nodded, "I know you want Cedric to teach you Defense Against the Dark Arts. That's no problem, of course. I'll be the first to agree."

"That's great..." Cedric patted Kyle's shoulder happily, but when he was about to say something, he suddenly realized something was wrong.

"Wait...Hermione clearly said..."

"I know." Kyle interrupted him, "You are shy and embarrassed to agree. It's okay. I agree on your behalf. You're welcome."

Now, not only Cedric, but even Hermione was confused.

The reason she came this time was actually to ask Kyle to teach them Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Last night, she, Harry and Ron discussed it for a long time and they all agreed that Kyle was the most suitable candidate.

There was nothing to question about this. After all, all the honors Kyle had won were on display in the trophy display room, including two unprecedented special contribution awards for the school, the "Today's Transfiguration" Most Promising Newcomer Award, the youngest Triwizard Tournament champion, and the youngest member of Merlin's Order.

It can be said that Kyle receives a new honor every year... The Special Contribution Award for the School, which seems extremely difficult to obtain in the eyes of everyone, is the least noticeable one for him.

Therefore, in Hermione's view, Kyle is simply the best candidate to replace Umbridge, and Harry and Ron also think so.

"In fact, we want you to teach." Ron muttered quietly, "If it's anyone else, we might as well ask Harry."

"Hey, don't say that." Harry stopped him quickly and looked at Cedric apologetically, "Sorry, Diggory, it's not what you think..."

"It doesn't matter." Cedric waved his hand, "Because that's what I thought too."

"No, I'm not suitable." Kyle shook his head decisively. "Wanting to teach others more about what you know is completely different from knowing how many spells."

"I don't think there is any difference." Ron was a little dissatisfied.

In his opinion, professors are powerful wizards, Vice-Principal McGonagall is more powerful than ordinary professors, and Principal Dumbledore is the most powerful one. Is there any problem with this?

"Of course there are differences." Kyle glanced at him. "For example, for the Transfiguration spell, before the sixth grade, I could learn it after Professor McGonagall demonstrated it once. So it is difficult for me to explain to you how to do it and what you need to pay attention to, because I have not experienced it."

After hearing Kyle's words, everyone's expressions were amazing, especially Harry and Ron. They just felt their faces burning, as if there were two salamanders lying on them.

Let’s not talk about the Transfiguration in the sixth grade, but the Transfiguration in the fifth grade is a huge test for them... Even with Hermione's help, it will take them several days to barely pass.

And now Kyle tells them that he only needs to watch it once to learn it?

The gap was too big and both of them found it hard to accept it for a while.

Even Hermione opened her mouth, stammering and unable to utter a word. She felt that Kyle was showing off something just now, and the evidence was solid.
