Chapter 634 Ron's Attitude

[Hogwarts Senior Inquisitor's Order]

"In order to regulate school activities, all student organizations, associations, teams or clubs must be registered with the Senior Investigator (Professor Umbridge)..."

The students who were about to go to the auditorium for breakfast gathered in front of the bulletin board and discussed the matter. They didn't understand why the school suddenly had such a rule, and they were also worried about whether it would affect the clubs they participated in.

Outside the crowd, Kyle naturally also saw the notice.

It seemed that Umbridge had her own ideas and did not adopt all of his opinions.

However, there are some changes. She previously wanted to disband all clubs and then reorganize them, but now she only needs to report and register.

Although there is no essential difference, it can save a lot of time.

Next to the notice board was a table where Filch was sitting with a stack of parchment in front of him.

"Everyone who needs to register, come here. I'll take care of this job!" Filch said loudly, with a hint of pride in his tone.

“The leader comes and writes down everyone’s name, activity time, and location.

"No activities can be held until the registration is completed."

There was a long line in front of him, stretching from the bulletin board to the main entrance.

Cedric was among them, and he was the first one. When Kyle looked over, he had just finished writing.

"They included Quidditch." After noticing Kyle, he hurried over and said, emphasizing the words "Quidditch team".

"But it's okay now. Everyone knows the Quidditch team. There's nothing to hide. Just simply write the name down."

After a while, Hermione and Harry hurried over.

"Hey, did you see that..."

"The notice in the hallway."

"Do you think it's possible that she knows something?" Harry asked in a low voice.

"That's for sure," Kyle said, "but don't worry, she doesn't know the details, so she'll be fine."

"Then why did she make such an announcement?"

"Because anyone who dares to report it will definitely be fine." Hermione said directly: "In this way, if she catches us gathering again in the future, she can justifiably charge us with a crime.

"But she has to be able to catch us first."

Harry breathed a sigh of relief and was about to say something else when he suddenly felt someone pulling his arm.

It's Ron.

"Let's go, Harry." He had a stern face and looked like he wanted to leave here quickly. "Don't reveal too much. Maybe someone told you about it."

While speaking, he glanced at Kyle intentionally or unintentionally.

"This..." Harry hesitated for a moment, but in the end he couldn't resist Ron and was dragged away by him.

"I'm sorry, Kyle." Hermione said angrily, "Ron is like this because of his brother's matter. I think there must be some misunderstanding between you two."

“I know,” Kyle said.

He had expected this to happen ever since word got out about his "fight" with the Weasley brothers.

Because only they themselves know the truth about this matter, no one else, including Hermione, knows it.

This was also to prevent them from letting the secret slip. After all, Kyle had seen Harry and Ron "plotting loudly" in the corridor more than once, and if they knew the truth, the risk would be somewhat high.

"Why do you say that?" Kyle said.

"Because Fred and George haven't gone to the hospital wing yet," said Hermione.

"This little thing is nothing to Madam Pomfrey, it can be cured in a few minutes, but they would rather cover their faces every day than go to the school hospital.

"It's like... you're deliberately reminding others that they had a fight with you. This is not normal."

"Who knows..." Kyle was noncommittal and said, "Maybe it's possible that they think that shape is more attractive."

"Come here quickly, Hermione, we have to go to class later." At this time, Ron's voice came again from not far away.

Hermione frowned, and seeing that Kyle had no intention of explaining, she prepared to go back.

"Oh, right." Cedric suddenly thought of something and said, "Remember to tell Angelita that the announcement also includes the Quidditch team. Ask her to find time to register, otherwise you may not be able to apply for court training."

"Okay, I got it," said Hermione, and then returned to the Gryffindor table and sat down next to Harry.

"That girl is really smart." Cedric said with a smile, "She has almost guessed it, why don't you tell her the truth? After all, she was the one who first suggested learning Defense Against the Dark Arts by yourself, so it should be okay to tell her."

"If it's just her, it'll be fine," Kyle said, "but she'll definitely tell Harry and Ron later, so the fewer people who know about it, the better."

"That makes sense." Cedric nodded, "But don't you care about Ron's attitude towards you?"

"What's the big deal?" Kyle said with a smile, "And strictly speaking, the worse he treats me, the better, so it seems more real, and Umbridge will be more convinced that we really fell out.

"If he knew the truth, he wouldn't be able to act this way."

"That's true."

At this time, a large flock of owls flew into the hall, and the few people stopped discussing Ron.

Kyle glanced at the Daily Prophet as usual. The front page showed a picture of the Weird Sisters and the news that they would be performing in Cornwall.

Another wizard, in order to trick Muggles, cast a spell on the yards of an entire street, causing the plants in the lawns to grow to ten feet high overnight.

Finally, there is the guessing game in the Daily Prophet.

They were all unimportant news, without any familiar names, which meant that nothing big had happened in the wizarding world recently and everything was calm.

Kyle put down the newspaper and looked up to see Filch walk in and hand a thick stack of parchment to Umbridge in the teacher's seat.

"When did she come?"

"Just now, a minute ago," said Cedric, glancing at Filch, who had taken the parchment away again.

"It's strange. Umbridge seems to have left it all to Filch."

"What's so strange about this?"

"I mean, doesn't Umbridge love to be in the spotlight?" Cedric said, "She is always keen to show her power in front of students or other professors, and this should be a good opportunity.

A single rule that made everyone line up to sign should have given her a sense of accomplishment, but why did she let Filch do it? "

"Maybe she thought it was a boring job," Kyle said. "Anyway, her goal had been achieved, and all that was left was to write down a few names, time, and place. It would be the same no matter who came.

"There are quite a few clubs and organizations in school. There are about 50 or 60 of them in total. It would be quite cumbersome to record them all."
