Chapter 649: Leaked Secrets, Umbridge's New Decision

After Kyle left the Forbidden Forest, he looked back.

Hagrid still didn't give up and was still searching in some dense bushes, but his actions were doomed to be in vain.

Kyle shook his head and continued walking towards the castle.

Kanna had been waiting at the castle gate and ran over immediately after seeing him.

"Where did you go just now?" She whispered, "Just now after class, I seemed to see Malfoy's father in the Forbidden Forest."

"In fact, I went to look for him."

"But why did he come to Hogwarts?" Connor asked puzzledly, "Because of Fred and George?"

"That's part of the reason," said Kyle. "I think after today they'll be able to play again...if Umbridge doesn't make any more excuses."

"That's great." Kanna said happily, but she soon thought of something.

"Wait, you just said part of it, could it be that he wants to talk to you about something else?"

"To be precise, I need his help with something." Kyle looked around and made sure that there was no one around before he lowered his voice and said, "I want to try and see if I can get Umbridge to leave the school."

"Malfoy's father, can he drive Umbridge away?" Connor was a little skeptical.

Although the Malfoy family is rich, they don't have any position in the Ministry of Magic. Can he decide whether Umbridge stays or leaves? Even if Galleon can do it, Malfoy can't help them.

"Well," Kyle thought for a while and explained, "Actually, after I met Hagrid, I suddenly came up with an idea that might be of some use.

"Lucius Malfoy happened to be here at this time. If he is willing to help, perhaps the success rate of this method will be higher."

"But will he help us?" Kanna asked, "If I remember correctly, the Malfoy family is inclined towards Fudge. After all, they have spent a lot of Galleons to befriend Fudge over the years."

"Let's give it a try, just in case." Kyle said calmly, "And even if he doesn't want to help, it doesn't matter. At worst, we can think of other ways when the time comes."

The two walked into the castle side by side and came to the auditorium to have lunch.

In the auditorium, everyone was discussing something else.

Professor Sybill Trelawney of Divination has been placed on probation... Umbridge made the decision this morning.

Professor Trelawney drank a lot of wine for this and kept complaining even during class.

"This is really bad." Kyle and Connor came to the table and sat down, and Cedric just came over.

"I heard that in addition to Professor Trelawney, Professor Burbage of Muggle Studies was also warned, but she didn't drink and didn't make the matter known to everyone."

"Then how did you know that?" Kyle asked curiously, "I remember you didn't seem to choose the Muggle Studies course."

"It's not me, it's Angelina."

Cedric shook his head and said, "She met Umbridge in the corridor. When she wanted to catch up with her to ask about Fred and the others, she happened to see her handing a piece of parchment to Professor Bubbage.

"She also said that Professor Bubaji looked very upset and almost cried... Apart from the notice of academic probation, I can't think of any other parchment that could scare a professor so much."

Kyle looked up in the direction of the teachers' seats. Professor Trelawney and Professor Burbage did not come to dinner today, but Umbridge did, happily cutting her steak with cutlery.

But apart from her, all the other professors seemed unhappy. Even Professor Flitwick, who always liked to chat, was unusually silent. The atmosphere at the whole table seemed unusually depressing.

Obviously, no one thinks this is the end of the matter...

Kyle also understood that Professor Trelawney and Professor Burbage were just the beginning, the first step for Umbridge to assert her power.

There is no way, because these two professors are the "softest persimmons" in Hogwarts. They have no background, their courses are not taken seriously, and their abilities are average... It is perfect to use them to establish authority.

Next, she would most likely attack other courses, and it would be difficult for professors to resist because Umbridge represented the Ministry of Magic, and going against her was equivalent to going against the entire Ministry of Magic.

After all, unlike Professor Trelawney, these professors are all real talents, each of them is laden with honors, and the people they taught are almost spread throughout every corner of the British wizarding world.

If Umbridge really dared to expel them on trumped-up charges, it would probably cause an uproar in the wizarding world the next day, and even Fudge would not be able to protect her.

But you can't expel them, but you can still create some obstacles, such as interfering with teaching.

There is a solution. The simplest one is for the professors to take the initiative to lower their bottom line and become like Snape.

As long as she casts a forgetfulness spell every day, Umbridge will definitely not cause any trouble.

But it is not so easy to achieve this. Professor McGonagall is unlikely to act so recklessly. If she disagrees, this matter cannot proceed.

Kyle felt more and more that his idea was correct, Hagrid and Lucius arrived just in time.

The Ministry of Magic's affairs cannot be delayed any longer. If Umbridge is allowed to stay in school, every class will be affected.

After quickly finishing his lunch, Kyle stood up and prepared to go to Hagrid to discuss something.

But before he could walk out of the hall, Umbridge came over first.

"Come with me." She said in a sweet tone.

There was no choice, Kyle had to give up looking for Hagrid temporarily and followed Umbridge to the Defense Against the Dark Arts office.

When Kyle walked into the office, he found that he was not the only one here today.

Slytherin's Montague, Pansy, Millicent, Crabbe, and Goyle are also here... oh, and Malfoy who has just been discharged from the hospital.

But after seeing Kyle walking in, Malfoy subconsciously took two steps back and his face became paler.

"Draco, what's wrong with you?" Pansy asked with concern.

"No, nothing..." Malfoy shook his head.

"It must be that he hasn't recovered yet." Mrs. Montgomery glanced at him and said loudly, "It's just that the punishment of suspension is too light. Violent people like the Weasley brothers and Potter should be expelled."

Malfoy shuddered and subconsciously looked at Kyle.

But Kyle seemed not to have heard what Mrs. Montgomery said and did not react at all.

"Oh, they don't need to be suspended anymore." Umbridge walked in and said, "Tomorrow, their punishment will be detention."

"How can this be?" Mrs. Montaigne shouted, "This is not fair!"

"So, do you have any opinion on my decision, Mr. Montague?" Umbridge looked at him with a smile.

Montaigne's expression froze. "Of course not, Professor Umbridge. Just do as you say."

"That's good," said Umbridge, smiling.

"Okay, forget about Weasley. I have something more important for you to do."

She said, “I heard that someone has set up an organization in the school to teach others to use various dangerous magic.

"It's too dangerous for such evil people to hide in the school. You should go find these people and their gathering place now, okay?"
