Chapter 715 Kanna was transferred to another school

He told a lot of interesting stories about some famous wizards and said that when they were at Hogwarts, they all joined an organization called the Slug Club.

This famous club was founded by him, and the name came from the first half of his surname.

It was originally just a joke, but Slughorn thought it was funny and kept it.

This so-called lunch party ended only when it gradually darkened.

"I didn't even notice they turned on the lights," said Slughorn, as if he had just realized how much time had passed.

"Well, although it's sad, you must go back and change into your school robes now... Kyle, Harry, you are welcome to come to me anytime, and of course, the same goes for everyone else."

Several Slytherin students stood up and slowly packed their things until Kyle, who was sitting at the door, left the box, and then they followed him out.

"It's finally over." Neville said outside the box with a sigh of relief.

"Yeah." A voice echoed from the side.

It was Belby. He looked back at the box, winked at Kyle and Harry, and whispered, "I'll tell you a secret. Actually, my relationship with my uncle is pretty good."

"Then why did you say that just now?" Harry asked puzzledly.

"This is what my uncle taught me." Belby lowered his voice and said, "He doesn't like Professor Slughorn's style very much. After learning that he was going to teach at Hoghotz, my uncle thought of the scene just now.

"So he specifically told me that I could easily get out of those boring parties by pretending that I didn't know him. And that's exactly what he said, isn't it?"

"You're so lucky." Harry smacked his lips.

"Haha." Belby laughed triumphantly, "But this method doesn't work for you. I'm sure he'll come looking for you again."

"Stop talking." Harry sighed.

He had thought of this a long time ago, but there was nothing he could do.

"Good luck to you." Belby waved his hand and turned to walk into a box next to him.

"Kyle." Harry asked, "You seemed to be listening very carefully just now. How did you do it?"

"Well," Kyle rubbed his forehead. "It's very simple. Remember the daydream spell? I was actually just sleeping."

"The Daydream Charm... isn't that a product from Weasley's Joke Shop?" Harry recalled.

"That's not right. I remember when I used the Daydream Charm, my expression became dull and I drooled."

Because this was a patented product of Weasley's Joke Shop and was placed in the most conspicuous position, Harry remembered it very clearly.

But Kyle didn't look like he was asleep at all just now.

"You don't know this." Kyle explained with a smile: "The original intention of inventing the Daydream Spell is actually the same as the quick-acting skipping candy. If it is so obvious, then what is the use of it."

"But, I clearly remember..."

"That was added on purpose to confuse any professors who might visit the store," Kyle said with a smile.

Harry immediately showed a look of annoyance on his face. Why didn't Fred and George tell him such an important thing!

"Okay, we'd better get back quickly!" Kyle glanced at the sky outside, "The train should be here soon."

They quickened their pace and returned to the last carriage, and Harry followed.

As prefects, Hermione and Ron have to maintain order. He is alone now, so it doesn't matter where he goes.

On the other side, in the Slytherin sixth year carriage.

"Well, Zabini," Draco Malfoy asked, "what does Slughorn want?"

"He just wants to curry favor with people who are related to dignitaries." Zabini said contemptuously.

"Who are they?" Pansy asked from the side.

"McLaggen of Gryffindor," Zabini said.

"His uncle is a high-ranking official in the Ministry of Magic..." Malfoy said nonchalantly.

"Belby of Ravenclaw."

"That's a idiot." Pansy chuckled.

Zabini mentioned a few more names, but without exception, these people were ridiculed, especially when Neville was mentioned. Pansy even mocked Slughorn's taste unscrupulously, thinking that he was old and confused to invite such a recognized fool.

"Oh, and that Potter, and Kyle from Hufflepuff." Zabini shrugged. "You didn't see how enthusiastic Slughorn was at the time. If you didn't know, you would think he had a very good relationship with Kyle."

This time Malfoy didn't say anything, and even the mean Pansy kept her mouth shut.

The atmosphere suddenly became a little subtle. Pansy peeled a piece of chocolate and wanted to feed it to Malfoy, but he dodged it.

"Don't be angry, Draco." Pansy said, "That Slughorn must not have known you were on the train, so he didn't invite you."

"I'm afraid that's not the case." Zabini said, "I noticed that Slughorn didn't invite anyone who had a Death Eater at home... Mr. Malfoy has been wanted by the Aurors two months ago."

"Why should I care what he thinks?" Malfoy laughed strangely, "I may not be in Hogwarts next year. What does it matter to me whether some old fool likes me or not? "You never know what I am going to do, which is more important and exciting. "

The entire box fell silent again.

Zabini asked tentatively: "Are you referring to... him?"

Malfoy shrugged, noncommittal.

But this answer was met with ridicule from Zabini.

"Who do you think you are..." He said sarcastically, "You are only sixteen years old. Why do you think you can work for him? Do you have the qualifications?"

"In fact, I do!" Malfoy whispered, "The Dark Lord never cares about age, he only cares about whether you are capable and how to show your loyalty to him.

"Also, some things have nothing to do with age. Once I accomplish them, I will become the person he trusts the most... because only I can do it."

Crabbe and Goyle stared at Malfoy blankly, their mouths wide open, and the sarcasm in Zabini's eyes gradually disappeared.

He didn't think Malfoy had the guts to lie about something like this.

Could this be true? He had gained the Dark Lord's trust at the age of sixteen? Perhaps out of jealousy, Zabini's expression gradually became distorted.

But Malfoy didn't notice any of this. Perhaps it was the first time he was looked down upon, or maybe for some other reason, his eyes gradually became firm, as if he had made up his mind.

The train gradually slowed down and finally stopped at Hogsmeade Station.

When the car door opened, Kyle was the first to step out.

"Kyle." Harry followed behind and asked, "I remember you are also a prefect, don't you have to maintain order?"

"Oh, I forgot." Kyle said without looking back: "But I'm already down, so let's just leave it like this, they will definitely be fine."

After saying that, he walked quickly towards where the carriage was parked.

Harry hesitated and didn't follow. He had agreed with Ron and Hermione to wait for them here.

On the other side, Kyle didn't care whether Harry followed him or not, and went straight to the long row of carriages.

Normally, the carriage would not start unless four people were in it, but Kyle managed to do it with just a piece of warthog leg meat.

A carriage left the main force and entered the castle along the path.

The Thestral was moving very fast, and arrived in front of the familiar oak door a few minutes later.

"Why are you alone?" Professor McGonagall, who was waiting here, glanced behind Kyle... The next carriage was still at the school gate.

"I have something to do, so I came early." Kyle said. "Sorry, Professor McGonagall, I have to go to the common room first."

"Okay, go ahead," said Professor McGonagall, "Remember to attend the opening banquet later."

Kyle nodded.

He planned to go to the common room first to see if Connor had returned. If not, he would go to ask Snape.

Kyle felt that Snape would probably not tell him... maybe Dumbledore knew too.

Kyle walked through the hallway and into the hallway that led to the kitchen.

But just as he took out his wand and prepared to knock on the barrel, the door of the common room opened by itself.

Kanna, wearing her school uniform, came out.

"Kyle!" she said with some surprise, "I was just about to go to the auditorium. Are you guys back already?"

"Ah, yes." Kyle put down his wand and couldn't help asking, "By the way, why didn't you take the train?"

Kanna's face froze and she walked silently towards the auditorium.

"Actually," she said after a moment's silence, "I almost couldn't go back to Hogwarts this year."

"Can't come back?" Kyle frowned. "Is this what Professor Snape meant?"

"Yeah." Kanna nodded and said, "When I just got off work, he took me to Norway to take the assessment of the Extraordinary Pharmacist Association.

Everything was going well until yesterday when we left Norway and he took me directly to France, saying that he had already made an agreement with Beauxbatons and that I would go to school there this year."

There was a noise all around, they had already arrived at the auditorium.

"I never understood why we had to learn French." Kanna continued, "I originally thought that the person in charge of the assessment of the Extraordinary Pharmacist Association was a French wizard, but I didn't expect it was because of this."

Kyle stood at the door and did not go in.

It suddenly occurred to him that maybe it would be a good idea for Connor to go to school at Beauxbatons this year. At least it was safe enough there.

But why did she come back? Could it be Snape... That shouldn't be the case.

Since Snape has decided to leave Connor in France, he will definitely not bring her back, otherwise why would he go through all that effort.

But if it wasn't Snape...

"Are you going to see Ms. Maxime?" he turned and asked.

"That's what I thought." Connor smiled slyly, "Although I don't know why Professor Snape did this, I definitely won't stay in Beauxbatons.

"It just so happens that I know you are familiar with the headmaster of Beauxbatons, so I thought that maybe I could ask her to help send me back."

"Ms. Maxime agreed?" Kyle asked in surprise.

"I didn't see her," Connor said. "I found Gabrielle, Fleur's sister, and she told me that Ms. Maxime hadn't been at school for a long time, and someone else brought me back."

"Another person? Who?"

"I don't know him." Connor shook her head and said, "I met him next to the magic fountain in Beauxbatons...

"You know what? There is a very beautiful magic fountain there. It is said to be carved out of a whole piece of crystal. It does not contain water, but potions... Sometimes it is a healing potion, and sometimes it is a sobering potion."

As she was talking, Kanna unconsciously changed the subject. She seemed to want to figure out where so many potions came from and where they went.

But Kyle didn't care about this. Beauxbatons attached great importance to alchemy, so it was normal to have some strange magical items.

"Well, then what?" he asked.

"Then I met an old wizard who seemed to know you and said he had a way to send me back to Hogwarts."

They heard a heavy knock on the door, and it seemed that the new students had arrived. At the urging of Professor McGonagall, Kyle and Connor hurried into the hall.

The door behind him slowly closed, and Kyle was wondering who the old wizard Connor was talking about.

In Beauxbatons, and it was someone he knew, this was not much.

Besides Madam Maxime, there was only Fleur, Gabrielle, and Professor Lockneil whom she met in Romania.

But they don't meet the requirements.

After the two of them sat down at the Hufflepuff table, Professor McGonagall came in with the freshmen.

While they were sorting, Kyle asked again, "Did you ask his name?"

"He didn't say." Connor shook her head.

"Then how did you get back?"

“Apparition,” Kanna said, “But the old wizard was really old. I didn’t use much force when I grabbed his arm, and it broke. I was shocked at the time.”

Well, now Kyle knew who it was.

There are many old wizards in the wizarding world, but the only one who is so old that he would break at the slightest touch is Nicolas Flamel, who has lived for more than 600 years.

That makes sense.

Although Nico lives in Devon all year round, he occasionally goes to France for vacation to listen to operas. He is like a randomly refreshed NPC, and many people have encountered him.

And Beauxbatons is Nico's alma mater, so it makes sense for him to go back and take a look...but I don't know how Nico knows Kanna.

Soon, the sorting was over and all the freshmen came to their respective colleges. The originally empty golden plates were immediately piled with various different foods.

Kyle, who hadn't eaten much all day, stopped thinking about Nico and picked up a piece of grilled steak for himself.

"By the way, how did your Extraordinary Pharmacist Association assessment go?"

"It went smoothly." Kanna couldn't help but laugh. "Although the process was a bit bumpy, some people thought I was too young and should wait two years before taking the test. But Mr. Damocles didn't think so. He insisted on adding me to the list and personally supervised the process of me brewing the potion."

"This is the first time I know that age is also a factor in brewing potions. Could this increase the success rate of the potion?"

Kyle snorted disdainfully, "If he is not strong enough, no matter how old he is, the Crucible will not give him face... By the way, do you remember who wanted to cancel your qualification for the assessment?"

"What do you want to do?" Kanna glanced at him.

"Of course it's a little surprise for them." Kyle picked up some French fries for himself. "This may seem to be directed at you, but it's actually directed at me... After all, all the wizards in the UK know that I'm the youngest in the Ministry of Magic."

"Don't be so rude. Don't think I don't know what you're thinking." Kanna gently kicked Kyle's calf from below. "Although they are a bit old-fashioned, they didn't object after I passed the test. You mustn't do anything unnecessary!"

"How is that possible? Who do you think I am?" Seeing that Kanna didn't care, Kyle changed the subject in time and said, "But why did you go to Norway to take the test?"

"Because Mr. Damocles is in Norway, and it is said that he discovered a special herb there that can improve the wolfsbane potion." Kanna said.

Damocles is Belby's uncle whom he met on the train. He is also the inventor of the wolfsbane potion and a famous potion master. It is reasonable for him to be responsible for the assessment of the Extraordinary Pharmacist Association.

"So you passed?"

"Not sure yet." Kanna took a bite of the fried pork chop, "The results won't come out until after Christmas, but I think it's okay."

"Then it must have passed." Kyle said with a smile.
