Chapter 740: Going to Number 12, Grimmauld Place

Perhaps because they were familiar with the route, the return journey was much faster than the coming journey, and they soon left the area where Devon County was.

"Do you want to go back to Hogwarts now?" Kyle suddenly asked as they approached London.

"What do you mean?" Kanna looked at him and asked, "Aren't you going back?"

"I have to go to Diagon Alley for something." Kyle said.

"Go now?" Kanna frowned.

"Yes, now." Kyle paused for a moment, as if thinking about something.

If we go back to Hogwarts first, there is still a long way to go, and it will be too late to go to Diagon Alley by then.

And now I happen to be near London, so I can go there on the way.

But Kyle was not very comfortable letting Kanna go back to school alone in the carriage.

After all, in the wizarding world, Thestrals are rare and considered the most advanced means of transportation. Kyle was worried that it would be noticed by the increasingly rampant Death Eaters.

"If you don't have anything else to do..." Kyle thought for a moment and said, "How about coming with me? We can go to London for lunch on the way."

"Okay, of course." Kanna said with a smile without any hesitation.

"It's settled then."

Kyle came out of the carriage and whispered a few words to Yezhin.

The Thestral, which was originally flying towards Hogwarts, suddenly turned around and flew towards London with the carriage.

"Wait..." Connor thought of something, "There are a lot of people in London. What if a Muggle sees the carriage?"

"Don't worry." Kyle said, "This is another advantage of the Thestral carriage. Muggles can't see this special magical creature, just like they can't see Dementors. As for the carriage, it's even simpler."

Kyle took out his wand and knocked on the carriage, and the area around the carriage was immediately blocked by a layer of something.

"A hiding spell, although a little crude, but this is London, it will suffice."

The carriage passed through the gray clouds over London and reached its destination in less than half an hour.

In a square that looks a bit old.

"Be prepared." Kyle said to Connor, "There is also protection from the Fidelius Charm here."

Kanna nodded slightly nervously.

When the carriage stopped, before the two men could jump off, a cold voice came from outside.

"Who is here? Come out, don't take your wand."

The voice sounds familiar.

"Don't be nervous, Charlie, it's me." Kyle first stretched his hand out of the car to show that he didn't have a wand before leaning out.

"Kyle?" Charlie said in surprise, "Why are you here?" He ran over quickly but did not put away his wand.

"I should have thought of it earlier. This carriage obviously belongs to Hogwarts. They haven't changed it for decades."

"And you're still pointing your wand at us," Kyle said.

"I can't help it. It's my duty. I have to confirm it anyway." Charlie said with a smile, "Then there is another question. Where are you going?"

"Number 12, Grimmauld Place," Kyle said. "That should confirm that I'm not someone else using Polyjuice Potion in disguise."

"The Death Eaters don't know this address." Charlie and Kyle hugged.

At this time, Kanna also came out of the car.

Charlie was stunned at first, then narrowed his eyes, and looked at Kyle teasingly without saying anything.

"We just happened to pass by." Kyle seemed not to notice his expression and said to himself: "Are Fred and George there?"

"Just got back half an hour ago." Charlie nodded, but then he hesitated again, pulled Kyle aside and asked in a low voice.

"I don't mean to spoil the fun, Kyle, but this is the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix after all. Does Headmaster Dumbledore know that you brought this girl here?"

“I haven’t had a chance to tell him yet,” Kyle said, “but I can assure you that Connor is on our side.”

Dumbledore's agreement to let Connor go to Nico's manor actually showed his attitude. Even if Connor has not joined the Order of the Phoenix yet, she is qualified to know about this place because of her relationship with Snape.

"Well, I have no doubt about that." Charlie agreed with Kyle after just a little hesitation.

"Come with me." He waved to Kanna and walked to the front.

"Mom would be very happy if she knew you were coming."

Then, in front of Kanna's shocked eyes, a house expanded out of thin air, squeezing out the houses with numbers 11 and 13 on both sides.

"Let's go, hurry up." Charlie said. He walked up the stone steps first, pushed open the door, and shouted loudly inside:

"Mom, look who's here!"

"Keep your voice down, Charlie!" Mrs. Weasley came out of a room. "Shouldn't you be on guard outside? Why did you come back so suddenly? There's still some time before lunch."

"No, Mom, it's Kyle who's here," Charlie explained.

"Kyle?" Mrs. Weasley was stunned at first, then subconsciously looked behind Charlie.

"Oh, Kyle, honey, this is such a surprise."

She walked over quickly, glanced at Charlie first, and after getting a positive answer, she immediately gave Kyle a hug.

"Why are you here at this hour?" she said. "I asked Dumbledore before, and he said you had other things to do during the holidays and couldn't come here."

"That's right. We happened to pass through London on our way back to Hogwarts, so we thought of coming over to take a look," said Kyle.

"We?" Mrs. Weasley then noticed that there was a girl following Kyle.

How to put it... For a moment, she was more excited than seeing Kyle.

"This... I guess you must be Kanna. Kyle often mentions you."

"Yes." Connor turned to look at Kyle who acted as if nothing had happened, then looked at Mrs. Weasley again, "Connor Prince."

"Welcome, dear." Mrs. Weasley stepped forward and gave her a hug. "I'm so glad there's someone new here."

"Newcomer?" Kanna was a little confused.

To be honest, she still didn't understand what was going on and didn't know where she was.

The Weasleys? Probably not. She remembered that the Weasleys, Kyle, and Cedric all lived in St. Catchpole.

As if she had noticed her confusion, Mrs. Weasley asked, "Dear, didn't Kyle tell you where this is before?"

Connor shook her head.

Mrs. Weasley immediately glared at Kyle in dissatisfaction, but when she was about to explain, two excited voices came from behind her.

"Kanna..."

"Why are you here!"

Fred and George ran over one after the other, almost knocking over Ron who had come out to check the situation.

"You know him too?" asked Mrs. Weasley.

"Mom, we've known each other for six years." Fred said quickly, "And not just us, Dad, Charlie and Bill all know each other."

He was talking about the last Quidditch World Cup. Connor was with them at that time, but Mrs. Weasley didn't go, so she didn't meet her.

"She's the Connor we talked about before," George said, "and one of our best friends..."

"But her relationship with Kyle is obviously better."

Having said this, the two of them suddenly winked at each other and revealed a tacitly obscene smile.

It was really disgusting, even Mrs. Weasley couldn't stand it, she twisted their ears and pushed them back into the room.

"Sorry, dear, please forget about those two unclean things just now." Mrs. Weasley turned around calmly, "Where were we just talking about, oh, the Order of the Phoenix."

"Order of the Phoenix?" Kanna blinked.

"Yes, this is an organization founded by Dumbledore to fight against the Death Eaters, and this is the base camp."

Mrs. Weasley said, "Well, don't stand there in the doorway now, come with me, I made beef stew for lunch and it will be ready in just a few minutes.

"Charlie, you're still out there. Bill will come to relieve you during lunch."

"Okay, Mom."

Charlie, who was about to go in, could only say angrily, and walked out of the house again, closing the door.

"This way, dear." Mrs. Weasley took Connor and Kyle to the kitchen.

At this moment, Kyle suddenly noticed several heads popping out from the direction of the stairs.

From top to bottom are Harry, Hermione, Ginny... As for Ron, he is right next to them.

The Hogwarts Express set off early in the morning. Normally, they shouldn't still be here.

"It was originally used," Harry explained, "but Mr. Weasley said that Professor Dumbledore specially arranged a one-time Floo network connection. It only takes one second for us to get back to school."

"I see, that's quite convenient," Kyle said.

"Yeah." Harry nodded. "But Kyle, why are you here, and at this time?"

"Didn't I just say that? I just happened to be passing by." Kyle said.

However, his words could fool Mrs. Weasley and Harry, but not Fred and George.

While Mrs. Weasley was bringing Connor into the dining room, the two of them attacked at the same time and dragged Kyle into another room.

"Tell the truth..."

"What on earth are you going to do!?"

Fred and George surrounded Kyle on both sides.

"Don't say anything about it being on the way..."

"We can't be fooled by such a lame excuse!"

"I never thought about it that way." Kyle shrugged. "I came here because I wanted to go to Knockturn Alley. Remember what I told you in my letter before?"

"Knockturn Alley?" Fred thought for a moment. "You mean, let's watch that Draco Malfoy thing?"

"Yeah," Kyle said. "So, did he go to Knockturn Alley during his vacation?"

The Weasley brothers' shop is not far from the entrance of Knockturn Alley. Even if you are in the shop, you can see the entrance through the glass window.

So when he wrote to the Weasley brothers before, he mentioned this matter in passing.

"We don't know either." George shook his head and said, "You know, the Ministry of Magic is very busy right now. We don't have time to watch over the store all the time."

"But we have handed this task over to the house elves in the store." Fred said, "The elves are always very enthusiastic about their work. It is the right choice to hand it over to them."

"That makes sense." Kyle patted the two men on the shoulders, "Then why am I still telling you all this."

After saying this, Kyle prepared to leave the room.

"Hey, wait!"

Fred quickly stood in front of the door and explained, "We wanted to go and ask clearly this afternoon and then write to you."

"I didn't expect you to come back so suddenly."

"At least we have helped a little, so just tell us what the plan is."

The two of them stared at Kyle and refused to let him leave the room.

They were so curious as to why Kyle suddenly wanted to stare at Draco Malfoy.

"Tell me quickly, are you going to attack the Malfoy family?" Fred asked, "If so, please take us with you."

"We've been thinking about this day for a long time, really!" George said hopefully.

The conflict between the Weasley and Malfoy families was almost known to everyone in the wizarding world. Mr. Weasley and Lucius Malfoy even had a fight in Flourish and Blotts bookstore, and the incident was reported in the Daily Prophet for several days.

A few years ago, because the platform was inexplicably closed, Ron had to drive a flying car to school... At that time, Lucius kept holding on to this matter and lobbied everywhere, causing Mr. Weasley to almost lose his job.

Of course, in addition to these, there are many other things. The struggle between the two families has continued to this day and has never stopped.

Now they finally have a chance to take advantage of someone's misfortune, and of course they don't want to miss it.

Kyle naturally knew what they were thinking.

"Sorry, you guys think too much." Kyle said, "This time it's just because of Draco Malfoy alone."

"It's okay. You can do it alone." Fred said, "Just tell us."

"Yes." George nodded repeatedly, "You will be going back to school soon and preparing for the NEWT exam. You will definitely not have much time to take care of things outside of school.

"Maybe we can help you."

Kyle hesitated for a moment, "You really want to know?"

"Uh-huh."

"think!"

There were almost afterimages in both of their heads.

"Well," Kyle said, "actually, I found out that Draco Malfoy was working on a plan to get Death Eaters into Hogwarts."

The room suddenly fell into silence.

One second later.

"If you don't want to tell me, forget it." Fred pouted. "Why did you make up such a story to lie to us?"

"Also, even if you're making up a story, could you please pay a little more attention to it?" George said disdainfully, "A Malfoy... allowed Death Eaters to enter Hogwarts?

"Even if I told Ron this, he wouldn't believe it."

The two looked at Kyle again, feeling very disappointed with his perfunctory attitude.

But Kyle remained calm.

"A Malfoy alone can't do it... so what if I help him?"

"What are you helping him with?" George was stunned for a moment, and asked tentatively, "Are you helping him transport the Death Eaters to Hogwarts?"

"Yeah," Kyle said. "What's the problem?"

The first thing Fred and George thought was that Kyle had been replaced by Polyjuice Potion.

But soon the two of them remembered that Charlie was guarding the door, and he would definitely not make such a low-level mistake.

Besides, Kyle's look and tone just now didn't seem like he was joking at all.

If you look at it this way, it's probably true...

The two men immediately became excited and moved closer to Kyle, pressing him on a stool. One of them pinched his shoulders while the other pounded his legs, acting as attentive as possible.

"Quick, tell me in detail..."

"We have long disliked Hogwarts for banning our prank products from entering the school."

“This is simply destroying our dreams.”

"It totally denies us!"

"We are irreconcilable with this school rule!"

The two were so passionate, as if as long as Kyle spoke, they would lead the Death Eaters to attack the school without hesitation, overthrow Dumbledore, and create a brand new Hogwarts.

"You are so brave...Does Mrs. Weasley know?" Kyle asked in a flat tone.

"Of course not."

"Or Mom will kill us..." Fred shrugged.

"Okay, tell us your plan quickly."

"It's not my plan, it's Malfoy's." Kyle didn't hide it anymore and said directly: "He plans to use the Vanishing Cabinet to create a new secret passage in Hogwarts."

"Vanishing Cabinet?" Fred stroked his chin. "You mean the kind of Vanishing Cabinet that can connect two different places together?"

"Besides this, is there anything else that can artificially create a secret passage leading out of the school?"

"That's impossible." George frowned and said, "Didn't the Vanishing Cabinet disappear a long time ago?

"I've read a book about alchemy before, and it said that since sixty years ago, someone used the Vanishing Cabinet to sneak into the International Confederation of Wizards and killed an important witness, all of these things have been destroyed."

"That's right," Fred said. "And at that time, all the alchemists who were capable of making the Vanishing Cabinet were forced to sign a magical contract, swearing not to make it in the future, let alone pass on the production method."

"Even the Malfoy family doesn't have the power to get something like this."

"That's true," Kyle said, "but it just so happens that there's a Vanishing Cabinet in Hogwarts that was forgotten."

"Malfoy found it?" Fred's expression turned serious. "No, I have to tell Dad."

"Don't worry." This time it was Kyle's turn to stop him, "Malfoy didn't find it, I found it."

Fred and George then stopped.

But before he could breathe a sigh of relief, Kyle continued, "But I have already given that thing to Malfoy."
