Chapter 76 Christmas Gift Unboxing

The next morning, when Kyle woke up, he saw a mountain of gifts in front of his bed.

Most of them were snacks like chocolates or candies, and the quantity was much more than he expected.

"A good and outstanding student is indeed popular."

Kyle put these aside and continued opening the rest of the presents.

Hagrid's gift was the biggest. It looked like a wooden barrel wrapped in thick brown paper.

"Could it be from the Moon Maniac..." Kyle opened the package with some trepidation.

Fortunately, it was not what he thought. What Hagrid gave him was a cloverleaf, and the wooden barrel was a flowerpot he found temporarily, filled with soil.

There were still some dew on the leaves of the grass cloak, probably because he had just dug them from the Forbidden Forest.

What Kyle gave Hagrid was a set of fire dragon models, the kind used for drawing lots in the competition, which can move, fly at low altitude, and breathe fire.

Hagrid would love it.

Cedric gave him a copy of Quidditch Through the Ages, signed by the players of the Chudley Cannons.

Kyle looked at the signature and put the book aside in disgust...he didn't like this team.

It is worth mentioning that the gift Kyle gave to Cedric was also related to Quidditch, which was the signed bat of the Wimbledon Wasps that he had treasured for a long time.

He had specially written to Mrs. Weasley and asked her to mail it to him. It was definitely a gift full of sincerity.

Because of this, he was scolded by Mrs. Weasley, who blamed him for not going home during the holidays and said that she would definitely teach him a lesson during the summer vacation.

But Kyle wasn't worried at all.

Mrs. Weasley was easy to please, and with an apron made by Kyle himself and a beautiful final report card, there would be no problems.

Connor's gift was a pair of knitted gloves she had made herself, with Kyle's initials on them.

To Kyle's surprise, the little witch's craftsmanship was unexpectedly good, and he quite liked it.

It fit perfectly when he put it on, and could be paired with the sweater Mrs. Weasley gave him.

He gave Kanna a handbag with an anti-theft device, which should be very practical for her.

Fred gave a bottle of disappearing ink, and George gave a Chocolate Frog card collector's album, which contained blank transparent card holders, into which one could put the collected cards, which was very convenient.

Kyle gave them a copy of Elementary Alchemy, which was also the textbook for the alchemy course at Beauxbatons School of Magic.

He knew that the twins had been inventing some joke props recently, and this book should be very helpful to them.

And his two lovely roommates.

Mikel gave him an exquisite gold brooch and Ryan gave him a set of wizard chess.

To Kyle's surprise, he actually received a gift from the professor.

Professor Flitwick gave Kyle his school notes, two thick notebooks from first to third grade, filled with his understanding of spells.

This gift can be said to be very precious.

Kyle felt a little guilty because the gift he gave to Professor Flitwick was just a simple rowan wood amulet.

In fact, Kyle gave gifts to every professor.

Professor Flitwick's amulet.

Professor McGonagall's hat ornament is in the shape of a golden snitch.

Professor Sprout is a tool maintenance set.

Professor Oren is a walking stick.

Professor Binns is a newspaper clipping "The Three Great Magic Schools in Europe: Professors' Treatment"

Of course, there is also Professor Snape who has taken good care of him recently. In order to express his gratitude, Kyle specially gave him a whole box of Potter brand quick-smoothing shampoo.

However, he did not sign his name on this gift, nor did he use the name Rodan. Instead, he found an owl from the school to send the gift to the Owl Post Office in Diagon Alley, which then delivered it to Professor Snape.

Although the process is a little troublesome, it is worth it.

I believe Snape will be very touched after receiving this gift.

After carefully putting away Professor Flitwick's notes, Kyle opened the last gift, which was given to him by Diana.

It was a silver ring with a crescent moon decoration, and underneath it was a short letter: "This is a magic item that can cast three Disapparation spells. If you encounter danger, inject magic power into it and concentrate on imagining the target location, and it will take you away.

Note: It cannot be used inside Hogwarts Castle, but it can be used outside the castle gate. If you don't want to take the train during the holidays, you can also use it to go home.

(I hope you like this gift, dear.

Merry Chrismas.)"

Is this an upgraded version of the door key? As soon as Kyle put the ring on his hand, it automatically adhered to his skin. Kyle tried to move his fingers and found no discomfort.

Kyle loved the gift.

He had always wanted to learn how to Apparate, but because he was too young, neither Chris nor Newt wanted to teach him.

This ring can be said to be the most satisfying Christmas gift he has received in the past eleven years.

It’s just that the number of times is a bit small, only three times.

If only it were thirty times.

Kyle cleaned the dormitory and came to the common room. Kanna was standing on tiptoe and digging something in a large flowerpot.

"What are you looking for? Do you need help?" Kyle asked.

"No, I've found it." Kanna took out a dirty cloth bag from the flower pot, turned around and said, "Thank you for your Christmas gift, I really need that."

Kyle watched her take out two Galleons from the bag and put them back into the handbag he gave her. He asked in confusion, "Have you been losing Galleons lately?"

"No more." Kanna shook her head and said, "But I lost two Sickles yesterday afternoon."

Isn't that what it means?

Kyle frowned and asked, "Where are your roommates? Have they all gone home?"

"Well, they all went back. Now I'm the only one in the dormitory." Kanna said excitedly, "But they did send me a gift. It's a Muggle hairpin. It's very pretty."

Kyle rubbed his forehead and was about to say something when Kanna ran back to the dormitory in a hurry.

When she came back, she had a small wooden box in her hand.

"Look, isn't it beautiful?" Kanna handed the box to Kyle.

There were seven or eight colorful hairpins in it, and their styles and appearance were indeed much more novel than those in the magical world.

However, Kyle was not interested in these. He just took a quick look and prepared to return them to Kanna.

But at this moment, he suddenly noticed that there was a small bottle underneath the hairpins. Out of curiosity, he reached out and removed the hairpins covering it.

"What the hell is this?"

Kyle's hand suddenly trembled and he almost dropped the box. He was so scared that he broke out in a cold sweat and quickly put the box on the wooden table next to him.

After calming down a little, Kyle carefully reached out and took out the bottle.
