Chapter 785 The Witch of Godric's Hollow

Fred, George and Ron were drafted by Mrs. Weasley and became temporary waiters. They were responsible for standing in front of the road to greet them and lead them into the house.

"Kyle, what do you think of my outfit? It doesn't look too shabby, does it?" Hagrid asked in a low voice at the door of the house.

"Ah?" Kyle took a look at his furry brown suit and said confidently, "Don't worry, no matter who it is, they can see at first glance how much you value this wedding."

In August, when the weather was at its hottest, wearing a thick fur suit that was only worn in winter, how could it not be taken seriously? Kyle felt that he certainly could not do this.

"Um..." At this time, Harry's voice came from the side with a bit of trepidation, "Do I really not need to do something to hide my identity, such as drinking some Polyjuice Potion or something."

He and Sirius had reconciled. No one knew what they said while they were in the room, but after they came out of the room, they were back to square one.

"That's not necessary at all." Kyle waved his hand. "You don't look that scary, and you won't scare away the guests. Just use your own face."

"That's not what I meant." Harry faltered. "What if a Death Eater knew I was here? Would it cause trouble?"

"There's even less need to worry about that." Kyle said calmly, "As long as the You-Know-Who doesn't come in person, there won't be any trouble. And coincidentally, the You-Know-Who just had a fight with Professor Dumbledore a few days ago. He's probably recovering from his injuries right now. He probably won't dare to show up in public for a while."

"Is that so?" Harry scratched his hair.

"Of course." Kyle looked at him with a smile, "Just do what you need to do. You don't have to worry about anything else."

"What can I do?" Harry perked up. "Mrs. Weasley didn't give me any work."

"Then go and check out the seating arrangements for the guests." Kyle thought for a moment, "Also, remember to decorate each seat with some decorations, such as flowers and ribbons. After all, it's a wedding, so it's better to make it grand."

"No problem." Harry ran away happily.

"Decorating seats?" Hagrid gave Kyle a strange look. "If I remember correctly, isn't this the task Chris assigned to you?"

"That's right." Kyle nodded, "But since Harry wants to help, I'll just take a loss and give it to him."

"Huh?" Hagrid blinked. "Wait, I don't think I understand you?"

"Is it hard to understand?" Kyle said seriously, "There aren't many occasions like this."

"Yeah, that's right." Hagrid nodded.

There are wizards who get married under such circumstances, but they don't know those people. For those who know each other and are preparing to get married, he only knows Lupin and Tonks.

"So, the more you do in this kind of occasion, the more you feel involved. It's such a rare opportunity. Isn't this a good thing?"

Hagrid nodded as if he understood. He still felt that something was wrong, but when he thought about it carefully, what Kyle said seemed to make sense.

There isn’t much to celebrate in the wizarding world right now, and a sense of participation is indeed important.

"Okay, I'll help too," said Hagrid, and followed Harry to where the chairs were placed.

"Oh, sir, ma'am, please follow me over here."

Fred's voice came from not far away, he was following a middle-aged couple.

The woman was a wizard, and looked somewhat similar to Tonks, but her hair could not be changed, and was only a soft light brown.

Next to him was a man with blond hair and a big belly...

"Andromeda, Ted, I'm so glad you came."

Mr. Weasley hurried over and hugged the two men.

"Long time no see, Arthur." Tonks' mother, Andromeda Tonks, said softly, "How is Molly?"

"She's fine, and is preparing snacks for us later," said Mr. Weasley. "Please allow me to introduce them to you." He pointed at Fred. "This is my son Fred... well, it could be George. They are twins, as you know."

Mr. Weasley ignored the angry Fred and pointed at Kyle again, "He's Chris and Diana's child, Kyle.

"Oh, Kyle, they're Tonks' parents."

"Hello." Kyle walked up to them and shook hands.

"I've heard of you." Mrs. Tonks said in surprise, "As the youngest recipient of the Order of Merlin, Second Class, and the champion of the Triwizard Tournament, you have made the British Ministry of Magic look good internationally."

"Thank you for the compliment." Kyle said modestly.

However, he also noticed that it was Mrs. Tonks who was talking the whole time. As for Mr. Ted Tonks, he looked unhappy, and only forced a smile when Kyle looked over.

But it is understandable. After all, no matter in appearance, age or financial resources, Lupin does not look like a good son-in-law. He is even a werewolf.

It was normal for Mr. Tonks to be unhappy. It would be a problem if he came here happily... Kyle could understand even if he didn't come to the wedding this time.

But they still came, and Mrs. Tonks should have played a crucial role, just like she did in the beginning, ignoring everyone's opposition and even not caring about being expelled from the family, she insisted on choosing Mr. Ted Tonks.

In a sense, Tonks was doing the same thing as her mother, but luckily, this time she didn't have to do it alone.

"This way please, I'll take you there." After a brief introduction, Fred led them into the house to find Tonks.

Then it was George's turn. He brought people he knew well, Professor McGonagall and Professor Sprout. This was something Kyle wasn't expecting, as he seldom saw them outside of school.

Especially Professor Sprout, Kyle always thought she never left the school greenhouse.

"Welcome, professors." This time it was Sirius who greeted them. "What a pleasant surprise you are."

"I'm surprised too." Professor McGonagall glanced at the house not far away, "I never thought you would choose this as the venue for the wedding."

"It was Remus who insisted." Sirius rubbed his nose, "Because James said that when Remus gets married, he will come to attend no matter where he is."

"Yes, you were always inseparable when you were in school." Professor McGonagall's eyes were slightly red.

"That is my happiest memory." Sirius said, "Well, come in quickly, Lupin will be very surprised, he always thought you didn't have time to come."

"We really didn't have time originally, but Filius took over some of our work." Professor McGonagall said, "Remus is one of my favorite students. He has to come to witness his wedding."

"Same for Nymphadora," Professor Sprout said with a smile.

"What about me?" Sirius seemed to be in a good mood and asked jokingly, "What impression do you have of me?"

"If possible, I really hope you can be sorted into another house." Professor McGonagall blurted out, "In this way, perhaps Gryffindor can win a few house cups that year."

I don't know whether it was intentional or unintentional, but when Professor McGonagall said this, she glanced at George next to her subtly.

"That's really sad." Sirius covered his chest, but his smile became even wider.

"Come with me, professors. Remus will be very happy to see you." After Sirius left, George did not rush back, but came to Kyle not far away.

"When I get married..." He pulled the tie around his neck and said, "I won't do any of these things. I'll have a party from morning till late at night. Everyone can come whenever they want, join in at any time, and leave at any time."

"Then you have to get past Mrs. Weasley first." Kyle handed him a bottle of iced pumpkin soda. "She will definitely not agree with you doing this."

"It's okay." George raised his head and took a sip of soda. "I can put a full body binding spell on mom until I'm done."

"If that's the case, remember to tell me in advance." Kyle glanced at him, "So that I can go to your grave and lay a flower the next day."

After saying that, he walked towards the largest tree nearby, where the wizards of the band were sitting and smoking their pipes. It was said that it was a very famous band, but Kyle didn't remember the name, and he didn't know it either.

This time, there were fewer people attending the wedding than expected. By 7:30, all the guests had arrived, and most of them were acquaintances.

However, they had already anticipated this situation before.

Tonks' mother was expelled from the family long ago because she married a wizard from a Muggle family. One of the burn holes on the tapestry in the Black mansion was hers.

Because of this incident, she lost contact with almost everyone she knew. Even if she had contact, those people would not have come to attend the wedding of her daughter and a werewolf.

As for Ted Tonks, most of his relatives are Muggles, so it is not appropriate to invite them to a wizard's wedding.

Apart from them, the only other strangers Kyle saw were Lupin's parents.

However, they arrived when the wedding was halfway through. When the host was reciting the vows, Lupin suddenly jumped off the stage. Tonks thought that this guy had broken off the engagement and was so angry that her hair turned red.

It was not until she and the others looked in the direction Lupin was running that they noticed the late couple.

They are also a combination of one wizard and one Muggle, but unlike Tonks, Lupin's father is a wizard.

Lyall Lupin, an expert on dark magic creatures. Kyle had heard this name from Newt, and Newt also respected him very much.

If Kyle remembered correctly, he was probably in his sixties, but he looked much older than his actual age.

Newt, who is over a hundred years old and has a hunched body and a head full of white hair, looks more energetic than him.

Lupin's mother next to him was in a similar situation.

At first they didn't seem to believe that Lupin was getting married and thought it was a prank. It was not until they confirmed it with their own eyes that they finally couldn't control their emotions and hugged each other and cried with joy.

But Kyle always felt that the relationship between them and Lupin was a little strange. They were not close, but it was not bad either. There was just a vague sense of distance that only existed between strange relatives.

After a brief excitement, the atmosphere between them quickly fell silent again.

Then Lupin returned to the stage.

Fortunately, the host was knowledgeable and ignored the incident and started reciting the unfinished oath from the beginning.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we gather here today to celebrate the union of two devoted souls..."

"I didn't expect they would really be like this." Fred, who was sitting on Kyle's left, suddenly muttered.

"What do you mean?" Kyle asked.

"It's about the relationship between Lupin and his parents." George said on the other side.

"The relationship between them is not good?"

"It's not that bad." Fred thought for a moment, "This happened more than 30 years ago."

"Lupin's father said something that offended the werewolf Fenrir Greyback, so Greyback broke into their home on a full moon night and bit the young Lupin."

"Yes." Fred nodded. "Because of this incident, Lupin's father fell into deep self-blame. From then on, he became taciturn and dared not talk to Lupin."

"Coupled with Lupin's identity as a werewolf, he began to become estranged from his parents, and then he became what he is now."

Kyle looked at the two of them in confusion, "How do you know so much?"

"Of course I overheard it." Fred said matter-of-factly, "We were outside listening to their conversation for three hours last night. Lupin also said that his parents would definitely not come to the wedding."

"But now it seems that he guessed wrong," George said with a smile.

"Three hours?" Kyle smacked his lips. "You guys really have plenty of free time."

"It's worth it, isn't it?" Fred raised his eyebrows. "After all, they wouldn't tell us such secrets at other times."

Then he turned to look at the two people on the stage.

"That's great, but I still think it's too much trouble. Anyway, when I get married, I will definitely not let someone talk nonstop on the stage."

"Again, you have to convince Mrs. Weasley first," Kyle said.

As the oath was read, some of the more sentimental people had already begun to cry. Mrs. Weasley and Hermione kept wiping their eyes, Mrs. Lupin and Mrs. Tonks were also crying for joy, and behind them came bursts of noises like trumpets.

It was Hagrid, and he was covering his face with a tablecloth-like handkerchief, and the sound came from his nose.

"…I declare you partners for life."

At this, Fred and George jumped up from their seats, took out the firecrackers they had prepared long ago, and let them explode over Lupin and Tonks' heads.

This time it’s not Christmas stock, but something they made specially.

A large field of silver stars fell above their heads, and flowers of various shapes fell from the sky. They were all real flowers, and some of them had bees on them. They flew into the air in panic, and in the blink of an eye they rushed excitedly to the garden below.

Then Kyle also waved his wand, and the flowers around them began to grow wildly, becoming as tall as a person in the blink of an eye. Various different furry animals jumped out from all directions, and three phoenixes landed behind the two of them, singing melodious songs.

"That's a really nice Transfiguration." Professor McGonagall nodded approvingly in the guest seats.

"Yes." Professor Sprout nodded, "But I think we can use golden hydrangeas instead of orchids and roses. Those are the most beautiful plants."

The two professors discussed with great interest.

"Hey, Kyle, this wasn't part of the previous plan," Fred said dissatisfiedly.

"And you'll make us look stupid."

"It was just a spur-of-the-moment decision. Don't be angry." Kyle said with a smile.

He had just thought of this. After all, it was Lupin's wedding, and he couldn't just do nothing. He could only create an atmosphere.

This sudden scene also caused everyone to cheer.

Then the garden turned into a dance floor, the band played cheerful music, and drinks such as pumpkin juice, butterbeer, and fire whiskey flew in from all directions and were neatly placed on the tables.

"That's great." George picked up a glass of butterbeer and took a sip. "But I have a question."

"What?" Fred asked.

"Who is that person?" George pointed.

Not far from them, a hunchbacked witch was standing there. She looked very old and seemed out of place in the lively wedding scene.

"I don't know him." Fred shook his head. "He should be a neighbor nearby."
