Chapter 793 Dumbledore's New Nickname

"What is this?" Fred asked puzzledly, looking at the big package in Kyle's hand.

"It's good stuff. You should feel better after drinking it." Kyle said.

Hearing this, Fred felt his stomach churning again.

"If we have to go back now, can I be the last one in line?"

"I really don't want to Apparate again any time soon."

"Don't worry, we'll use the portkey this time." Kyle took out the dirty glass.

Under his arrangement, everyone formed a circle to ensure that everyone could touch the cup with one finger.

As for the unconscious Tonks couple, they will stay here, and Nymphadora Tonks will be responsible for sending them to the Hogwarts school hospital for treatment.

Having just been attacked by Death Eaters, they didn't dare to go to St. Mungo's with two wounded people, so the closer Hogwarts Hospital became the best choice.

This was what they did before when a member of the Order of the Phoenix was injured, and Madam Pomfrey was used to working overtime occasionally during the holidays.

"My dear, I am alone here. You have to go back with them." Tonks glanced at Lupin, kissed his cheek, and then turned to look at the others.

"Hurry up, George," she reminded him. A dazzling blue light was already coming out of the cup, and George quickly pressed his index finger on it.

It was as if an invisible hook in the back of their stomach suddenly hooked them forward, and everyone's feet left the dirty floor and disappeared on the second floor of the Hog's Head Bar.

Kyle felt dizzy and his fingers were glued to the portkey, but compared to the Phoenix's apparition, this was just a merry-go-round in an amusement park.

A few seconds later, everyone's feet landed heavily on the ground, but no one fell down and everyone landed steadily.

We have arrived at number twelve, Grimmauld Place.

Mrs. Weasley ran over excitedly and hugged Fred and George.

Chris also came, looking nervous, until Kyle looked over, his expression relaxed a little.

He was accompanied by Mr. Weasley, Alastor, Kingsley and a man in a hood and cloak. They must have received the news.

There are many wizards living in Godric's Hollow. If something big happened there, someone would definitely tell the Ministry of Magic.

But Kyle didn't look at them, but instead turned his gaze to the person whose appearance he couldn't see clearly.

To be honest, this person was dressed very much like a Death Eater, the only difference was that there were some symbols made of gold thread on the black cloak.

This style of clothing was worn by Kyle when he went to the Ministry of Magic for interrogation. It was the work uniform of the Department of Mysteries. His mother Diana was wearing this kind of robe at that time.

But Kyle was sure that the person in front of him was definitely not Diana. Although he couldn't see her face, her height and body shape didn't match.

"This is the Unspoken Man." Chris seemed to see Kyle's confusion and took the initiative to explain: "Your mother is very worried about you, but for some reason, she can't leave the Department of Mysteries. Only her colleague, the Unspoken Man who is currently the only one who can contact the outside world, can come out to check on the situation."

"If that's the case..." Kyle nodded and was about to say something, but when he turned around, the silent man was gone.

No sound was made, and no one knew how the other person disappeared, as if what they had just seen was just a phantom.

"Don't make a fuss, they are always like this, mysterious." said Chris.

"What on earth is the Department of Mysteries busy with?" Kyle couldn't help but ask, "Can't they even come out for a while?"

“I don’t know.” Chris shook his head and lowered his voice, “But I heard, just heard, that there are several doors in the Department of Mysteries. Whenever a major event happens outside, such as a war, those doors will become particularly unstable.”

"So what's in there?"

"I don't know." Chris blurted out, "No one knows except the Silent Man.

"And your mother never told me these things. What I just said was also heard from others."

"Who is it?"

"Xenophilius."

"Who are you talking about?" Kyle was stunned for a moment, thinking he had heard wrongly.

"Xenophilius Lovegood," Chris said again, "Have you forgotten? Luna's father also lived in St. Catchpole Village. You have met him."

"Of course I didn't forget." Kyle rubbed his forehead, and some ideas that had just come up disappeared in an instant.

"But didn't he say before that the Department of Mysteries was specifically designed to make poison for Fudge and help him deal with those opponents?"

"But Fudge is no longer the Minister." Chris looked around and lowered his voice again, "And I think what he said makes sense. Remember? There are really some mysterious doors in the Department of Mysteries."

"Yeah." Kyle laughed dryly.

Compared to helping Fudge poison and eliminate his opponent, this statement is indeed very normal. It can even be said to be so normal that it doesn't seem like something that should appear on "The Quibbler".

To be honest, Kyle had no idea whether Xenophilius had said this to Chris or if it was something new he had written in The Quibbler.

If it was the latter, then Kyle could only say that Xenophilius had fallen. He had given up his consistent persistence and lofty ideals, and fell from the boundless clouds back to the solid ground.

How could such logical content appear in The Quibbler? How sad would its loyal readers be if they saw it? Wouldn't this cause trouble for St. Mungo's?

By the way, the place where The Quibbler sells best is St. Mungo’s, or to be more precise, the Department of Mental Magic Healing and Comprehensive Recovery Research under the Department of Magical Injuries of St. Mungo’s.

Because the therapist accidentally discovered that reading "The Quibbler" could calm down wizards who were harmed by mental magic, and they could temporarily display the same thinking logic as normal wizards.

Although they don't understand the principles behind it, they still buy several sets of magazines every month, some for reading, some for research, and the rest for wall hangings.

It was said that the walls of several wards were covered with articles cut verbatim from The Quibbler.

As for how effective it is, Kyle has no idea, but there must be a reason why they have been able to maintain this tradition for so long.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Weasley had brought everyone else into the house.

She looked very happy. Everyone was there, the same number of people as when they set out in the morning.

"Today is worth celebrating." She smiled and said, "I'll go prepare some midnight snack."

Mrs. Weasley went to the kitchen and others wanted to help but were chased out by her.

From what Kyle knew about Mrs. Weasley, she probably wanted to find a place where no one was around to be alone for a while.

What happened today was really too exciting for her. It could be said that except for Percy who was at St. Mungo's and Arthur who returned to the Ministry of Magic early, the rest of the Weasley family was at the wedding.

When Mrs. Weasley saw Bellatrix and the Death Eaters behind her whose number was almost three times theirs, she felt as if the sky had fallen.

If the Phoenix hadn't appeared in time to take them to a safe place, she couldn't imagine what would have happened next.

She still hasn't recovered until now. Kyle had noticed before that her hands were shaking slightly.

The same thing happened to Mr. Weasley, who took three tries to get the cork out of the bottle after Kyle distributed the wine from the Hog's Head to everyone.

For a moment, no one spoke.

Even the noisiest Fred and George sat there quietly, each holding a bottle of wine in their hands and drinking it in big gulps, as if they were treating it as a magic potion that could stabilize their minds and also to suppress the dizziness that had not yet disappeared.

As for the younger Ginny, and Hermione who didn't like drinking, Kyle made them a special drink, half a cup of water, half a cup of vinegar, and the juice of three lemons with skin.

Since they didn't see the production process, they were quite happy when Kyle brought the cup to them.

"What is this?" Ginny asked curiously.

"Special lemonade." Kyle tilted his head slightly. "Based on my experience, the most effective way to relieve the dizziness caused by Apparition is to drink something with a strong sour taste, followed by strong liquor."

"Thank you," said Hermione.

"Well... you're welcome." Kyle said, "Try it."

"Can I have a cup of this too?" Ron suddenly said at this time.

Although he was old enough to drink, he really didn't like the taste of whiskey and brandy. In comparison, lemonade was easier to accept.

"Sure, no problem." Kyle found a few smaller cups and distributed some of the drinks. "Harry, would you like some?"

"Oh, no, thanks," said Harry, shaking his head.

Although he doesn't like strong liquor, he also doesn't like sour things.

"Okay then." Kyle handed the lemonade back to Ginny, and because she felt so uncomfortable, she took a sip without any hesitation.

Ginny's features scrunched together.

"Why, is it unpalatable?" Ron suddenly stopped the cup he had raised to his mouth and asked with a suspicious look on his face.

"No, it's not unpalatable at all, it's sweet." Ginny's frowning face quickly relaxed and she tried to act as if nothing had happened. In order to prove to Ron that she was not lying, she even took another sip.

"Then why are you so confused?" Ron did not doubt him and decisively brought the cup to his mouth and took a big sip.

Then……

"Oh... so sour!" Ron's face wrinkled, his facial features squeezed together, looking like a cabbage stepped on by a unicorn.

“Oh…why is it still so bitter!”

"Because it has lemon peel." Kyle tried hard not to laugh. "Drink it, it's okay and it's good for you."

"Absolutely not." Ron shook his head firmly, "Ginny, you actually lied to me."

"What did I lie to you about?" Ginny glanced at him.

"Tell me this stuff tastes good."

“It’s just delicious.”

"Then drink another sip." Ron said angrily, "If you drink one more sip, I'll believe you."

"Why should I ask you to trust me?" Ginny said calmly, "I feel much better now and don't want to drink anymore, is that okay?"

"You..." Ron became even angrier and his face turned red.

But what he didn't know was that what Ginny said was true. After taking the second sip of lemonade, she did feel much better, and the omnipresent feeling of dizziness gradually disappeared.

Although I haven't fully recovered yet, I feel much more comfortable than before.

Ron naturally didn't have this feeling because he had spit out everything in his mouth.

The two of them just sat at the dining table, glaring at each other across Harry.

However, their noise eased the atmosphere at the table and everyone was no longer as nervous as before.

"It was really thrilling today." Kingsley was the first to speak, "If we had known this would happen, we shouldn't have gone back to the Ministry of Magic."

"That's because I didn't expect it." Sirius had finished a whole bottle of whiskey and was opening the second one. "I still don't understand how they knew Remus was going to marry Nymphadora. We only told a few people, and they were all our own people."

"Maybe someone let it slip." Chris thought for a moment, "Or maybe the Death Eaters have long been targeting those who are close to us. It's not difficult to capture Andromeda and Ted and deduce the location of Godric's Hollow through their movements. All we need is a bottle of Veritaserum or Legilimency."

"We were not thoughtful this time." Lupin lowered his head, "We should have been more cautious."

"No, I am also responsible." Sirius said, "After knowing that Dumbledore was coming, I subconsciously relaxed my vigilance around me. If I had been more cautious, I might have discovered the traces of the Death Eaters in advance."

"No, no, after all, we shouldn't leave early..."

Several people shared the responsibility at the table.

But in Kyle's opinion, this matter was ultimately Dumbledore's fault. It was Dumbledore who showed up, gave others the illusion that he was a powerful figure, and then slipped away without a word.

There's nothing wrong with taking the blame for this irresponsible behavior.

"And Kyle!" Sirius suddenly turned his head and said, and Kyle also looked over subconsciously.

"Why did you let the phoenix send me away first!" His eyes were slightly red. "You told Fred that it was Dumbledore who asked the phoenix to rescue everyone, but I don't think so."

"I……"

"No need to explain. I can tell that you are directing the Phoenix's actions. It was because of your request that it turned back and captured me."

"No, I..."

"Have you ever thought about how much I would blame myself if you didn't come back this time? I would have let a child buy time for me... How would I have the face to see Chris again?"

Kyle, who was interrupted twice in a row, did not say anything until he was sure that Sirius had finished speaking, then he coughed lightly.

"You're done?"

"What I want to say is that I can Apparate without the help of the Phoenix... Remember when I took you out of the encirclement?"

As he spoke, Kyle stretched out his hand and pointed to the ring on his finger.

However, after using Apparition three times, the color of the ring had become very dim, and it was also close to the finger, so it was difficult to find without careful observation.

"That won't work either." Sirius stiffened his neck and said, "I have to stay behind you."

"Oh, okay." Kyle didn't argue, "Next time, definitely next time."

"It's better not to do it next time." Chris tried to smooth things over. He also looked at Kyle and asked solemnly, "So what did you do after sending Sirius away?"

"Nothing much," Kyle said. "I gave them a little surprise and then left."

His tone was light, and he deliberately concealed the news about Voldemort.

"Surprise?" Chris raised his eyebrows. "Your so-called surprise doesn't mean killing all seventy Death Eaters, does it?"

As soon as he finished speaking, the whole restaurant fell silent. Everyone looked at Kyle in disbelief. Even Mrs. Weasley ran out from the kitchen with her pupils contracted, as if she had heard something extremely terrible.

To be honest, they had all had the experience of killing Death Eaters more than a decade ago, even more than once.

But if we raise that number to seventy... then there would be no one sitting here except Alastor Moody.

Even Alastor's numbers were accumulated over decades of Auror career.

But what about Kyle? Killing seventy Death Eaters at once, if that were true...

Inexplicably, when Ron looked at Kyle again, his legs began to tremble unconsciously. This was a physiological reaction and had nothing to do with whether he was familiar with Kyle.

"There must be some mistake, Chris," said Mrs. Weasley, coming to her senses. "Kyle is a good boy, how could he ..."

"No, Molly..." Mr. Weasley shook his head. "The news we received is that all seventy Death Eaters were killed in Godric's Hollow. If I'm not mistaken, Scrimgeour and the Aurors are already there."

"No, this has nothing to do with me." Kyle looked innocent and quickly denied, "It wasn't me."

"But you were the last to leave," said Kingsley.

He had been wanting to ask this since a while ago, but because Chris was there, he didn't know how to say it.

Now that Chris mentioned this, he asked, "You are the last one. No one knows what you did."

"But I really didn't do this, I swear." Kyle raised his wand calmly, "If you don't believe me, you can also use the magic contract to verify whether I have killed seventy Death Eaters."

"Ah, no need." Kingsley hesitated for a moment, then shook his head, "Believe me, I don't mean to question you..."

"Of course you shouldn't question it." Mrs. Weasley also reacted at this time, she walked over quickly, "Let's put it this way, from the time I was sent to the Hog's Head Inn to the time Kyle came back here, there was only twenty minutes at most.

"Do you think Kyle can kill seventy Death Eaters in twenty minutes?"

"No, it should be fifteen minutes." Sirius added: "This is the time I came back. At that time, the Death Eaters were still chasing us."

"Did you hear that?"

Mrs. Weasley continued, "If Kyle can really kill all the Death Eaters within fifteen minutes, do we still need the Phoenix's help?"

"Admit it, Kyle, you're going to be a legend." Fred couldn't help but laugh.

"Even Dumbledore will have to call him little Kyle from now on." George also said with a smile.

"No, it should be old Kyle."

After saying that, the two couldn't help themselves and started laughing.
