Chapter 8 Mr. Weasley's Ambition

Ron, in particular, was quite interested when the topic came up. He listened with great interest, wanting to accumulate some experience in advance for the start of school next year.

But the more he listened, the uglier his expression became.

Trolls, ghosts, hippogriffs and the like are fine, although they are outrageous, but as long as I turn around and run when the time comes, I should still have a chance of survival. After all, the professors at Hogwarts are not just for show.

But what about the dragon? It was a magical animal of xxxxx level. Even an adult wizard might not be able to survive it, let alone an eleven-year-old wizard. I'm afraid that by the time the professors haven't finished their spells, he'll have been blown to ashes by a sneeze.

Is this a fucking school?

Ron was disheartened and even thought about running away from home. He didn't want to go to Hogwarts, he really didn't want to go. He just wanted to live.

Ginny wasn't in a much better situation.

Her little face was pale, and her originally beautiful red hair had become much duller.

"What's wrong Ginny."

Kyle, who was sitting opposite, saw this and asked with concern, "Why don't you eat anymore? Are you feeling unwell?"

"No, I haven't."

Ginny obviously didn't want to admit in front of her family that she was scared. Seeing Kyle looking at her, she quickly shook her head and said, "I'm just full."

A nine-year-old girl didn't have a big appetite to begin with, and Ginny had already eaten almost all of her food after having eaten half a box of Beebe Every Flavour Beans earlier.

She was about eight-tenths full, which was just the right point where it didn't matter whether she ate or not. However, the sudden topic of the branch made her little appetite disappear completely.

"I see. That's a shame."

Kyle didn't notice him. He just stood up and calmly put the untouched grilled fish in front of Ginny into his own plate.

Grilled fish is no different from other foods. Once it’s left for a long time, the taste will be greatly reduced. That would be a pity. You might as well eat it yourself.

It is also worth mentioning that Mrs. Weasley is very good at grilling fish, which is her unique skill.

But because she has to take care of a large family on a daily basis, and picking fish bones is a rather troublesome job, Mrs. Weasley's cooking skills can usually only be enjoyed on important holidays.

Of course, part of the reason is that fish is relatively expensive in the wizarding world.

But no matter what, Kyle had been craving for it for a long time, so he naturally couldn't just watch this delicacy go to waste.

Ginny knew this, but she didn't stop it.

She originally wanted to save the grilled fish for last and savor it slowly, but after learning that she would have to face the fire dragon in two years, she was in no mood to eat. She could only watch with a distressed look on her face as Kyle stuffed her grilled fish into her mouth.

In the end, I just turned around and pretended not to see it.

At the same time, Fred and George beside them also sighed in unison.

They also stared at the grilled fish for a long time, but Kyle's movements were too fast and they didn't even have a chance to make a move.

The unwilling twins turned their eyes to Ron again.

Unfortunately, Ron didn't have Ginny's habit. His grilled fish had long since turned to bones, and he ate it so cleanly that a Flobberworm would have slipped if it stood on it.

"What's wrong with you, Ron? Are you afraid of dragons?" Fred narrowed his eyes to hide his true intentions. At the same time, he showed concern for Ron's current condition. He patted his shoulder affectionately and comforted him, "Don't worry, the dragon will only last for one year. When you enter school, it should be replaced by another magical animal."

"I think it's a spider." George immediately added, "I've seen them in the Forbidden Forest. They're all about the same size as goblins. Maybe they were prepared by Hagrid for the Sorting Ceremony."

"No!"

Ron felt terrible, and the panic in his eyes began to rise rapidly. He instinctively dropped the cutlery and ran back to the Burrow screaming.

But having twins is not completely without cost.

"George, why are you in the Forbidden Forest?"

Mrs. Weasley keenly discovered the crux of the matter and looked at the twins with a serious face: "I don't remember Hogwarts allowing first years to go to the Forbidden Forest."

"Mom, I can explain..."

Fred and George tried to run, but as they were only in their second year, they were obviously no match for Mrs. Weasley and were quickly caught.

What followed was the familiar scene of a loving mother and a filial son.

Although this scene has been played out countless times in the past eleven years, Kyle still watched it with great interest, and even his appetite improved a lot.

Kyle had no doubt that the twins had been to the Forbidden Forest, but the spider thing was probably made up to scare Ron, and he just happened to hit the mark by accident.

After all, the eight-eyed giant spiders in the Forbidden Forest are not cute and harmless creatures. If the two of them really met each other, they would probably have made their home in the Forbidden Forest by now.

And Kyle remembered that the nest of the giant spider was still deep in the Forbidden Forest, and Fred and George couldn't run that far.

The twins are not named Harry Potter. They just like to play pranks, not commit suicide.

About twenty minutes later, dinner was almost over. Although there were some minor incidents during the process, both the host and the guests enjoyed themselves.

At least Kyle was happy.

After simply cleaning up the table, Percy went upstairs to review his homework.

Ron, who was trying to run away from home with a small bag on his back, was caught red-handed. Now he has replaced the twins and is being chased around the yard by Mrs. Weasley.

Mr. Weasley and Chris moved to another place to continue chatting.

"Chris, you just acted too much."

At the Burrow, Mr. Weasley said with regret, "It's just a sorting. How could there be a dragon? Little Kyle is so smart, he must know that we are lying to him."

"No Arthur, you are wrong. In fact, this plan was doomed to fail from the beginning."

Chris shook his head and said helplessly, "Kyle has been with Mr. Scamander for at least two months every year since he was three years old. Do you think he would be afraid of trolls and hippogriffs?

Also, Arthur, have you forgotten that Kyle's last name is also Chopper?"

"Uh..." Mr. Weasley was stunned for a moment, scratched his head awkwardly and said, "You mean, he can communicate with magical animals just like you?"

"Of course." Chris nodded and said, "So he would never be afraid of the Hippogriff. I guess only the fire dragon can make him feel nervous."

Mr. Weasley glanced at Chris and said with some envy: "What a magical ability! I wish I could communicate with those Muggle objects."

"???"

Chris was speechless for a moment, and laughed dryly: "It's not as exaggerated as you think. This kind of talent is only limited to magical animals. Ordinary animals like mice, toads, and owls can't do it. We can only rely on experience to guess what they mean."

Chris's meaning was very clear, even if Mr. Weasley used some weird magic to change his last name to Chopper one day, he could only talk to Floo fans or the Golden Snitch.

As for bread machines or cars or something like that... give up, it's impossible, don't even think about it!
