Horcruxes...
Hearing Professor McGonagall say this, Kyle only had to think about it for a moment before he understood what she meant.
"Professor, are you worried that someone will become the second Voldemort?"
"That's right." Professor McGonagall nodded, "The temptation of eternal life is too great, and we cannot guarantee that the content of this hearing will not be leaked.
"If someone has evil intentions because of this, the magic world will be in chaos, and we are the culprits of all this."
Professor McGonagall became more and more anxious as she spoke. Her hands unconsciously clenched into fists and the color gradually drained from her face.
It was also her fault for not thinking it through before. She was only thinking about how to help Snape get rid of his identity as a Death Eater, and actually ignored the temptation of Horcruxes to wizards.
Now she only hopes to find a way to minimize the impact of the Horcrux.
But compared to Professor McGonagall, Kyle had it much easier.
"Actually, Horcruxes are not important..." He said as he walked, but when he turned around, he found that Professor McGonagall was gone.
She was standing not far behind him with her head down, motionless.
There was no choice but to turn back.
"Professor McGonagall... Professor McGonagall?"
No one knew what she was thinking. Kyle called her several times but there was no response.
He simply stopped shouting and ran to the Three Broomsticks nearby to buy a glass of butterbeer and a small glass of violet water.
This is a drink with hazelnuts, vanilla and violets as the main ingredients, and is deeply loved by Professor McGonagall.
When he came out, Professor McGonagall was still standing there, and only looked up suddenly a few minutes later.
"Don't be nervous, Professor." Kyle immediately handed over the glass of violet water. "Drink something first. You said a lot at the hearing."
"I...oh, thank you," said Professor McGonagall. She took it subconsciously but immediately gave it back to Kyle.
"You should wait until I come back before drinking. I need to go back now."
"Bones may not be aware of this yet. I have to remind her quickly and come up with a countermeasure as soon as possible."
With that, he prepared to Apparate back to the Ministry.
"Wait a minute, professor." Kyle quickly stepped forward and stopped her.
"You can go back to school first." Professor McGonagall thought Kyle wanted to go with her, so she shook her head and said, "This is my negligence. I can go alone."
"No, actually I want to say that this matter may not be as important as you think." Kyle said quickly.
"What are you talking about?" Professor McGonagall pursed her lips, "That's a Horcrux that can make wizards immortal!"
"I know, I'm talking about the Horcrux." Kyle nodded, "The Horcrux is not important, what's important is the method and process of making it."
"Production...method..." Professor McGonagall was stunned for a moment.
"Yes." Professor McGonagall finally calmed down a little, and Kyle explained: "To be honest, there are quite a few people who know about Horcruxes. This kind of black magic is recorded in many books, including the school library.
"Most books only describe the Horcrux's name and function, but not the production process."
"Wait." Professor McGonagall looked at Kyle, "You mean to say that not many people know how to make a Horcrux?"
"Of course, Professor." Kyle smiled. "As far as I know, the only book that records Horcruxes is "The Secret of Advanced Black Magic"."
"What book is this?" Professor McGonagall asked subconsciously, having no idea what it was.
"A book about the dark arts. It was banned hundreds of years ago. There are very few of them."
Kyle explained: "In the entire wizarding world, perhaps only pure-blood wizard families like Black have such a long history."
"Then how did you know that?"
"Dumbledore told me." Kyle said calmly, "Also, when Voldemort was Tom Riddle, he also found this book in the school library and made that diary.
"Why, didn't he tell you?" Kyle asked with a blink.
Professor McGonagall's face darkened.
If Dumbledore had told her, she wouldn't have asked what Advanced Dark Arts Revealed was.
But now she knew how Voldemort learned to make Horcruxes... in the school library.
It's unbelievable.
"Where is it placed?" asked Professor McGonagall anxiously.
"Right now, it should be in the principal's office." Kyle thought for a moment and said, "I don't know the details, I just know that the contents about the Horcrux have been torn off."
Professor McGonagall breathed a sigh of relief.
"Is it possible that other people have read this book?"
"Like I said just now, this book is rare." Kyle shrugged. "First of all, it is definitely not available in bookstores. It can only be found in the private libraries of ancient pure-blood families like the Black family."
After hearing this, Professor McGonagall was basically relieved.
There are not many ancient families like the Black family, and most importantly, they don't know about this.
It is almost impossible to accurately find "Secrets of Advanced Black Magic" from a private library that has at least hundreds of books.
"Oh, I almost forgot."
Kyle suddenly thought of something and continued, "Even the process recorded in "Secrets of Cutting-Edge Black Magic" is not complete, and a lot of key content is missing.
"Tom Riddle finally consulted Professor Slughorn before he was able to complete the creation of the Horcrux."
"Horace?"
"Yes, but he keeps denying it," Kyle said. "You won't get an answer even if you ask."
Professor McGonagall's expression kept changing, but Kyle didn't care.
"That's why I said this matter is not a big deal. Maybe Minister Bones thinks so too."
Kyle handed the violet water to Professor McGonagall again, "Even if the Horcrux is exposed, so what? This kind of thing is basically translucent anyway. Even in the school library, the books about Horcruxes are not in the restricted area.
"As long as the method of making Horcruxes is not exposed, this matter can only be a casual talk after dinner."
This time, Professor McGonagall took the violet water and took a long sip.
"You make sense, but why didn't you tell me earlier?" Professor McGonagall glared at Kyle unhappily.
"There are some things you'd better not learn from that guy Dumbledore."
It was obvious that Professor McGonagall was very unhappy that Dumbledore had kept everything from her.
"I did." Kyle spread his hands, "But you ignored me just now."
Professor McGonagall's expression froze. She vaguely remembered that Kyle did want to say something to her just now, but at that time her mind was full of the consequences of the Horcrux being exposed, and she didn't care at all.
It seems that it was indeed her fault...
No, that's not right. It's Dumbledore's fault.
If Dumbledore had told her about the Horcruxes in advance, she would not have known nothing.
Thinking of this, Professor McGonagall subconsciously quickened her pace.
She decided to go back to the headmaster's office, find Dumbledore's portrait and ask why he could be so calm and not tell her anything.
Kyle could only speed up and follow her.
Just at this moment, Slughorn also walked over from the opposite side.
"Minerva, Kyle, it's great to see you here..."
He seemed to be in a good mood and waved at them from a distance. "I sincerely invite you to attend my dinner party. This is a formal banquet. Many people have decided to come. I think they will be very happy to see the president and the best graduates at the banquet."
Slughorn winked at Kyle.
In fact, the person he wanted to invite most was Kyle, of course, it would be nice if Minerva could come too.
"Next time, Horace." Professor McGonagall glanced at him. "We just came back from the Ministry of Magic and we have other things to do later... Oh, the same goes for Kyle."
"What a shame..." Slughorn said disappointedly, "I hope those kids never know what they've missed."
Kyle didn't respond.
He was used to it; he would do this every time he refused Slughorn's invitation to a dinner party.

It felt like I was a beacon, and I could provide guidance to others just by going to the dinner party.
After a few more words, Slughorn left.
This time he was going to Hogsmeade to buy drinks for the dinner party.
Although the school kitchen can provide small snacks such as cookies and cakes, it does not provide any alcoholic beverages.
But this kind of thing is a must-have for dinner parties.
So he always went to the Three Broomsticks in advance to buy butterbeer and his favorite mead, and this time was no exception.
Professor McGonagall looked at Slughorn's chubby back, and her originally relaxed brows frowned again.
"Do you think there are other people who know how to make Horcruxes like Horace?" she murmured.
"That shouldn't be the case." Kyle said after thinking for a while.
“Wizards are very old, and many of them are from the last century, or even the century before.
"If this gets out, someone will definitely find them..."
"This... is okay." Kyle whispered. He felt that Professor McGonagall was a little too nervous.
Making Horcruxes is not like growing potatoes, or some life skill that you can learn as long as you get older.
Besides, even if someone really knew, they wouldn't just tell others casually.
Slughorn knew this. As Tom Riddle was his favorite student, he had to use a lot of coaxing and deception to get some useful information out of him.
But Professor McGonagall didn't seem to think so. Maybe it was because of the change in her identity, but she became much more...well, rigorous than before.
"This matter still needs to be resolved by Dumbledore." Professor McGonagall said, and she seemed to have made up her mind.
"Professor Dumbledore?" Kyle's voice rose slightly.
"It's the portrait he left in the headmaster's office." Professor McGonagall continued, "His portrait needs to go out and visit those old wizards who know the situation. He must know who they are."
"Okay," Kyle said, and seeing that Professor McGonagall had made a decision, he didn't say anything else.
Anyway, those principals are idle anyway, so it would be nice to find something for them to do.
and……
Kyle suddenly had a good idea.
While Professor McGonagall went to the library, he went to the eighth floor first.
"Ball of thread!"
Kyle spoke the command he had just asked, and the gargoyles immediately jumped aside.
He walked up the spiral staircase at the back and entered the principal's office with ease.
Everything here is still the same, and the portraits on the wall are still closing their eyes and pretending to sleep.
"It's you, Kyle." Dumbledore was the first to notice him. "How did the hearing go? Severus should be fine now."
"It went well," Kyle said, then shook his head. "No, or there were a few hiccups."
His words were like a signal; the principals in the portraits opened their eyes and looked over curiously.
"Look, at the hearing, Snape's memories were shown, including the part about the Horcruxes..."
He briefly reiterated Professor McGonagall's concerns.
"Minerva has given it a very thoughtful thought." Dumbledore nodded. "Indeed, few people can withstand the temptation of eternal life. This is why I have not announced why Tom was able to make a comeback before."
"But I think Kyle is right." Armando Dippet shook his head. "Horcruxes are not like growing potatoes. It's not that easy to learn."
"But we must always keep an eye on it." Another headmaster sided with Dumbledore.
"There are no eternal secrets in the magic world. If you are determined to find them, you will always find some clues."
"You're just guessing."
"Then can you say that it won't happen?"
…
The principals all had their own opinions and soon a quarrel broke out. A few of the hot-tempered ones were even on the verge of violence.
For example, Armando, he held a mace and chased Phineas who was against him.
"So, Minerva wants me to convince those who know the truth?" Dumbledore asked, looking at Kyle.
"That's right," Kyle said, "but I have another idea."
He took out a shorthand quill and wrote something quickly on a piece of parchment.
"Oh?" Dumbledore immediately became interested.
In his memory, Kyle's ideas were always special and effective... such as helping Sirius clear his name and making Fudge change his attitude towards Voldemort.
Not only was he curious, but Armando and Phineas also ran back and looked at Kyle together.
Soon, the parchment was full.
Kyle picked it up and showed it to the principals.
"This is the method of making Horcruxes that I summarized."
"What, you can also make Horcruxes!" The principal immediately exclaimed.
But soon someone noticed something was wrong.
"Wait, what is this!?"
Armando narrowed his eyes, "Using the Cruciatus Curse to split your own soul, that's sheer nonsense!"
"And this." Phineas almost put his face against the frame. "If the soul fragment cannot leave the body on its own, you can try to use the Imperius Curse on yourself... Merlin's beard, isn't this courting death?"
"You wrote it wrong, this is not the way to make a Horcrux at all!"
"Wrong? Of course not." Kyle narrowed his eyes and smiled: "This is how to make a Horcrux."
