159. Chapter 159 Cyrus: I hate goblins!

Cyrus's perspective was very low at this moment, as if he was crawling on the ground and looking up. Following his gaze, he saw the ugly Pettigrew and the devil-like Voldemort.

He realized immediately that this was what Harry had seen.

"Could it be that Harry is experiencing a severe emotional fluctuation at the moment and thus affecting me?" Cyrus thought with some doubt.

If there is anything in him that is connected to Harry, it can only be a fragment of Voldemort's soul. In the original book, whenever Voldemort is in a state of emotional turmoil, Harry can see what Voldemort sees.

Now it seemed as if the reverse had occurred, with Cyrus taking over Harry's mind.

However, what puzzled Cyrus was that he had clearly digested Voldemort's soul, but this connection still existed for some reason. This was not a good sign, as the mind and soul were the most private parts of a person.

Fortunately, Cyrus's brain occlumency technique is very powerful, enough to protect his own thoughts and ensure that no accidents will occur.

At this moment, Cyrus firmly remembered the fleeting scene in his mind, unwilling to miss any details.

"It does look somewhat similar to the style of the Sen Barka Tower." Cyrus frowned, but any ancient dungeon would look similar, and he had no way of telling Harry's location based on this alone.

"Too little information." Cyrus sighed.

Rescuing Harry was of course extremely urgent, but there was no way to find anyone. In this case, it would be better to improve his own strength first. Cyrus might have to face the resurrected Voldemort in the end! As he was thinking, Cyrus suddenly felt something burning his skin! At first he thought Voldemort was torturing Harry again, but the next moment he realized that the pain did not come from the soul, but from his body.

Something on my body is getting hot!

“Bang——”

In an instant, a golden coin popped out of Cyrus' pocket. It was red hot, as if it had been roasted by flames. It rolled on the ground and almost smoked.

"Fake Garlon?"

This fake Galleon was made when Cyrus went to the headmaster's office. There were two of them, one of which was in Harry's hand. It was Harry who tipped off Cyrus and ensured that Cyrus could escape before Dumbledore returned.

Now the Garlon was feverish again, and it was obvious that Harry was asking for help.

"This kid is quite smart..." Cyrus raised the corner of his mouth and praised.

It's a pity that Harry's Transfiguration skill is not good enough, otherwise he could leave a message on the Galleon to tell Cyrus his location. Of course, it is also possible that Harry himself does not know where he is.

Fortunately, there is no need to worry about this. Both Galleons were conjured up by Cyrus using magic, which is equivalent to installing a locator. As long as Harry does not stop casting the spell, Cyrus can sense the location of the other Galleon!

but--

"I'm afraid it's not safe for me to go find Voldemort alone."

Cyrus was worried that he could not stop Voldemort by himself, and if Voldemort was forced into a desperate situation, he might just give up.

"Dumbledore is so idle, why not find him something to do." Cyrus thought, and tapped the fake Galleon with his wand. The Galleon immediately turned into a golden snitch. The thin golden wings vibrated rapidly, leaving only an afterimage.

"Let's go find Dumbledore!"

The golden snitch flew into the sky and disappeared in an instant.

Cyrus watched the thief leave and curled his lips.

"I hope you like my Christmas present, Tom."

The ruins of the tower where Cyrus was located was in Hogsmeade, not very far from Hogwarts. With the flying speed of the Golden Snitch, it took only twenty minutes to reach Hogwarts.

Dumbledore was still discussing with the professors how to find Harry.

Professor Flitwick wanted to try whether the Human Tracking Charm could guide them, but Pettigrew was very cautious and wiped out his tracks before leaving Hogwarts. The professors were at a loss, and McGonagall cried sadly.

"We really shouldn't let our guard down against Pettigrew. Sirius just returned to Harry, and he was looking forward to living with Sirius... Albus, you shouldn't have told Sirius about this yet, right?"

"Not yet." Dumbledore shook his head, a flash of worry on his face.

Even if he didn't say it now, Sirius might not be able to hold back and might come to Hogwarts to spend Christmas with Harry in a while.

"I have already sent a floo message to Alastor to go to Riddle House. If Voldemort has taken Harry, I think he might be staying there."

Alastor is Moody, a very powerful Auror. If it were him, he would be able to determine whether there were people living there even if he didn't get close to the Riddle Mansion.

This is a very reasonable guess. In fact, if it weren't for Cyrus, Voldemort would have used Riddle House as his temporary base. But since Cyrus rebuilt Riddle House, he didn't like that place anymore.

A place that does not completely belong to you is ultimately unsafe.

On the other hand, Voldemort now has a better choice.

"I hope Moody can bring some good news." Flitwick sighed.

But before he finished speaking, the golden snitch that Cyrus had conjured up had already arrived.

The Golden Snitch flew through Snape's greasy black hair, hovered in the astonished eyes of the professors, and then unfolded.

"The Snitch?"

The professors did not dare to act rashly against the unknown golden snitch, but Dumbledore's eyes brightened. He stretched out his long wand, which was as long as a finger bone, and gently touched the front end of the snitch.

The Golden Snitch immediately stopped flapping its wings and melted into a pool of golden liquid, which flowed into words in the air.

"It seems someone has found Harry before us," said Dumbledore briskly.

Before McGonagall and the others could figure out who had tipped off Snape had already thought of the man he had met at Godric's Hollow not long ago, the man who had said that he and Harry were friends...

"Cyrus?" His lips slightly parted, uttering a long question.

"But how did he know..." McGonagall's eyebrows were more tightly knitted than ever before. She still felt that Cyrus was not so trustworthy. They only found out about Harry's disappearance this morning. How did Cyrus know about it? "Albus, could this be a trap?"

She was worried that it was Cyrus who took Harry away, and this was also a plan to make Dumbledore come to the appointment.

Everyone knew that Dumbledore was the only person Voldemort feared, and if anything happened to Dumbledore, no one would be able to stop Voldemort.

He hopes that Voldemort can use Harry's blood to resurrect himself, so that the connection between Voldemort and Harry will not fail to protect Harry because of Lily's magic, but he doesn't want anything to happen to Harry.

If the prophecy is true, only one of Harry and Voldemort can survive, then once Harry dies, it means that no one can destroy Voldemort.

"Let's go and bring Harry back." Dumbledore said, looking at Snape, "Severus, please keep an eye on the castle until we come back."

Snape's body paused, and he immediately understood what Dumbledore meant. He knew he had no choice, but still looked at Dumbledore with some dissatisfaction, like a poisonous snake that had set its sights on its prey and was about to spray venom in the next second.

"I will—"

He angrily swung his wide robe and left like a bat without looking back.

"Albus, you're worried he might..."

Dumbledore said calmly: "I'm just worried that the children in the castle are left unattended. Someone must stay behind to prevent something like this from happening again." - Cyrus stood in front of a castle ruin and looked far away. Around the ruins, many goblins were wandering back and forth, patrolling the surroundings.

No one has set foot here for many years, and now it is suddenly heavily guarded. Obviously there is a problem.

But what Cyrus didn't expect was that Voldemort's hiding place was actually his second trial location - the castle left by Charles Rookwood.

"Lanlock once worked with Victor Rookwood, so it is possible that he knew that Rookwood was one of the guardians of ancient magic. Now that Voldemort has occupied this castle, it is understandable that he is trying to get other clues about ancient magic."

Cyrus even felt that Voldemort might have found some clues -

His golden eyes took in the entire scene in the distance. The goblins guarding the surroundings were obviously very different from ordinary goblins. They were covered in black mist and looked exactly like Voldemort who was in the Pavilion of Knowledge at that time.

Did Voldemort grant these goblins the power of ancient magic?

No, it would be better to say, could the power of ancient magic be bestowed? He subconsciously felt that something was wrong.

But before he could think about it, there was a series of explosions behind him, as if someone had lit a bunch of firecrackers.

Cyrus turned around and saw several figures emerging from the black spot, led by Dumbledore.

Meeting Dumbledore again, the two had no intention of fighting. But before they could test each other, a thin black shadow rushed towards Cyrus like a hound smelling blood.

"Cyrus, where is Harry?!" Sirius was so anxious that he almost jumped up and down.

Just as McGonagall said, Sirius came directly to Hogwarts to find Harry and happened to meet them.

"Harry is in the castle. I left him a fake Galleon and he contacted me through it." Cyrus explained.

"It was you who sneaked into the headmaster's office that day, right? I never thought Harry would tip you off." Dumbledore casually mentioned this incident which surprised McGonagall and the others, but Dumbledore himself didn't seem to mind.

"Don't mind it, kids all like bad friends."

"No bad friend would risk his life to save him," said Dumbledore, smiling.

Cyrus sneered, then talked about Voldemort's current situation, "Tom is now controlling the body of the goblin Lanlock, and it seems that he has obtained some of the power of ancient magic. I suggest you be more careful."

The name Voldemort has a magical power that can be sensed once it is spoken. Therefore, Cyrus now only calls Voldemort "Tom".

"Okay, let's stop talking about this useless stuff now! How are we going to get in?" Sirius roared.

"Or use the Disillusionment Charm..." Mag thought about sneaking in, but was interrupted by Cyrus.

"Of course, just go straight in!"

Cyrus rolled his eyes and said, "We have already sent out Dumbledore. What is there to be afraid of?"

Even the resurrected Voldemort was a little afraid of Dumbledore, not to mention that Voldemort has not been resurrected yet, and Dumbledore has Cyrus to help him. It's two against one, what is there to be afraid of?

Cyrus has long been annoyed with Voldemort because he has been causing trouble for him time and time again!

If he doesn't beat the shit out of Voldemort this time, it will be considered a clean shit!

Mag looked at Cyrus in astonishment. Theoretically, this wizard who looked like a student was only a few years younger than her. But at this moment, Cyrus looked so young, no different from the slightly older wizards in the castle. Moreover, he looked unruly and did not take Voldemort seriously, which still made her feel incredible.

But she suddenly realized that the person in front of her did have the capital to look down on Voldemort.

"Then let's be more direct." Dumbledore also agreed with Cyrus' idea, and they worked together to set up an anti-Apparition spell to seal the entire castle.

Then, Cyrus walked towards the castle gate without any hesitation.

The patrolling goblins were not blind and they immediately saw Cyrus' figure.

"There are enemies!"

"It's Tom Riddle!"

The sharp-eyed goblin recognized Cyrus's appearance, and now all the new and old grudges came to his mind. Cyrus killed hundreds of goblins when he made trouble in Gringotts. The goblins' hatred for Cyrus was deep!

Of course, among the hundreds of goblins, only Bodrick was killed by Cyrus himself. The rest of the goblins died not so much at his hands as because of their own greed.

At this moment, seeing these goblins with black aura rushing towards them with huge axes, swords and guns, Sirius and his companions felt very pressured and they immediately got ready for battle.

However, Cyrus just sneered, looked at those short things with disgust, and slowly took out his wand.

The elderberry and thunderbird feather wand passed gracefully in front of him, and in an instant, blue fire ignited under Cyrus' feet.

"I hate goblins!"

Dumbledore: ??? What a strong sense of déjà vu!

It's a little late, and my brain feels like a mess. My body doesn't feel that bad anymore, but it's hard to think. Woohoo
