23. Chapter 23: Lockhart the Medical Master

Cyrus looked towards the professors' seats. All the professors, including Dumbledore, were watching anxiously, but the interesting thing was that no one took any action.

Now, anyone could see that something was wrong with the Bludger, but the professors were like idiots and remained unmoved.

"Don't they do anything?" Cyrus couldn't help but ask.

Ron's face didn't look good, but he still explained: "Of course they can't. You know, there are always some unusual things in official Quidditch matches. If you interfere with everything, then the game can't go on. I think, unless someone's life is really in danger, no one will intervene."

"But what about Harry and the others? No one offered to check the Bludgers?"

"Of course not. What if the Bludger is fine? Then they will be disqualified from the competition! Before the game started, Wood told Harry, 'Either catch the Snitch or die on the field.'" Ron's face turned pale. "We have to think of a way!"

"I can't find who cast the spell!" said Hermione anxiously.

Cyrus knew who was behind this, but he had no intention of doing anything about it.

His sight rested on another seat in the playground. As the major sponsor of the Slytherin team, Lucius Malfoy naturally came to the scene. On the one hand, he wanted to watch his son's game, and on the other hand, he wanted to see if the diary left by the Dark Lord could really open the Chamber of Secrets.

The question is, will Lucius Malfoy act the same way as in the original book this time?

When Riddle was controlling Ginny, did he secretly contact Lucius? Did he ask him to find the right time to drive Dumbledore away? Cyrus immediately realized that the plan he had in mind might not be so easy to achieve.

At this time, Lucius Malfoy was watching Draco's game wholeheartedly. Although he was usually extremely strict and harsh with Draco, in fact, his love for his child was no less than that of the Weasleys.

But, he must be Malfoy first! "Must, be Malfoy first!" Cyrus said this silently, and he already had a plan in mind.

But whether Riddle had contacted Lucius or not, at least now, he was going to do so. With the surname Malfoy, he didn't dare to have any objections to his orders.

Of course, not now.

"oh--!!!"

Suddenly, he was awakened by a huge and loud cheer.

He saw Gryffindor people jumping up from their seats one by one. Hermione and Ron pulled him into the crowd without hesitation and jumped onto the playground. There were many people rushing in like them, especially when Harry won the game in an almost tragic manner! He became the hero of the entire Gryffindor.

Cyrus only saw him lying on the ground, as if he was about to faint. The worst thing was that his arm was almost twisted into a knot.

"Is he all right?"

"It's hard to say. That crazy Bludger hit his right hand, and I think it was probably broken at that time. Then he ran directly into Malfoy, which scared Malfoy." Ron said quickly, "Then he caught the Golden Snitch first, but his arm was injured more seriously."

Three people gathered around Harry.

At this time, a bright and cheerful voice came from outside the crowded crowd.

"Make way - let me see him!" Lockhart pushed through the crowd and said confidently with his unique smile, "Broken hand? Leave it to me. I've encountered this situation hundreds of times!"

Hermione quickly made room for him.

As soon as he heard Lockhart's voice, he was awakened from his coma and weakly refused: "Oh, no, I don't want you."

The voice was both resistant and fearful.

"I don't know what he's talking about," Lockhart said loudly to the anxious Gryffindors who had gathered around him. "Don't worry, Harry. I'm just about to fix your arm."

"No!" said Harry. "I'll leave it as it is, thank you..."

At this time, war correspondent Colin also came in to get involved and once again used his camera to capture Harry's embarrassing scene.

So, it's not unfair for this kid to be petrified...

"Lie still, Harry," Lockhart soothed him. "It's a simple spell, one I've used countless times."

"Why can't I go directly to the hospital wing?" Harry gritted his teeth and looked at Lockhart. "Even if Ginny comes..."

He remembered how Ginny had easily broken Ron's curse; by comparison, she was much more reliable than Lockhart.

In fact, Cyrus could easily cure Harry, but if he didn't let the "medical genius" Lockhart show his skills, how could he petrify Colin who was going to the hospital to visit Harry? "He really should go to the hospital." Wood, who was covered in mud, said that even though his Seeker was injured, he still couldn't suppress the smile on his face, "Your catch was really amazing, Harry, it was amazing, I haven't seen you do it so beautifully before."

Harry looked through the dense mass of legs around him and saw that the brothers Fred and George Weasley were trying hard to press the out-of-control Bludger into the box. The Bludger was still struggling fiercely.

"Stand back," said Lockhart, rolling up his emerald sleeves.

"Don't - don't -" said Harry weakly, but Lockhart was already twirling his wand, and a second later he had it pointed at Harry's arm.

A strange, very uncomfortable feeling shot through Harry's shoulder like lightning, straight to the tips of his fingers. It was as if his arm was being sucked empty. He didn't dare to look, so he closed his eyes and turned his face away. But as people around him gasped and Colin Creevey went back to snapping photos, he realized his worst fears had come true: his arm didn't hurt anymore - but it didn't feel like an arm at all, either.

"Ha," said Lockhart in a panic, "yes, it is true, that sometimes happens. But the point is, he is no longer in pain. Remember that. Now, Harry, stroll down to the hospital - ah, Mr Weasley, Miss Granger, will you go with him? - and Madam Pomfrey can - oh - give you a little fix."

Harry stood up and felt his body tilted strangely to one side. He took a deep breath and looked down at his right side. The scene in front of him almost made him faint again.

What looked like a thick, flesh-colored rubber glove protruded from his sleeve. He tried to move his fingers, but nothing happened.

Lockhart hadn't set Harry's bones. He had taken them all out.

Lockhart: Just tell me if it still hurts?

Good news: it’s Friday!

The bad news: What bad news could there be on Friday?
