Chapter 1 Cyrus and Ginny

Cyrus quietly looked at the unchanging scenery in front of him. Even though he didn't know how long he had spent here, it was still difficult for him to calm down - because he had traveled through time and space and became a soul. No, it was not even a complete soul, but just a fragment with some memories.

The owner of this soul fragment is none other than the famous Dark Lord Voldemort, and it is the residual soul of the Horcrux he made when he was a student - Tom Riddle, who was only sixteen years old.

But now, due to his time travel, Xiaotang's consciousness no longer exists, and this remnant soul has been completed.

To be honest, becoming a Horcrux is a pretty shocking thing, even in the world of time travel. Cyrus had seen many online novels where the protagonists were humiliated or even faced life-threatening situations at the beginning, but it was rare for them to have to find a way to revive after traveling through time.

What's even more helpless is that, trapped in the diary, he can only passively wait for the plot to begin. If he could not still recall the magical knowledge that Tom Riddle learned in school, he would probably have gone crazy in this lonely space.

Slowly flipping through his memories, Cyrus couldn't help but sigh that Tom Riddle was indeed a genius.

As expected of a Dark Lord, he had already mastered almost all the magic knowledge in the Hogwarts curriculum in the fifth grade, and even mastered a lot of dark magic in the restricted area. At this age, ordinary students are probably still restless in adolescence.

In fact, most wizards who have left a deep mark in history are like this. Dumbledore and Grindelwald wanted to change the world when they were students, and later took action. Under the program they jointly formulated, Grindelwald almost subverted the entire wizarding world. In comparison, Voldemort's pattern is indeed much smaller, but his talent is not inferior.

Cyrus digested Tom Riddle's magical knowledge. He had experienced countless days like this, but today seemed a little different -

The silver mist was stirred, and the black ink floated down like a wisp of light smoke, falling into the silent memory and slowly spreading.

"August 19th, sunny"

——The writing stops here.

Cyrus stood up in a flash! —— In front of the shabby desk, Ginny Weasley, who was originally planning to write in her diary, looked at the blank diary in surprise——the few words she had just written had all disappeared!

On the yellowed diary, there was no other word except the words printed on the cover and the blurred name "TM Riddle" on the back of the cover.

TM Riddle, Ginny had never heard of this name, but it was not surprising, because the textbooks she used were all second-hand. Not surprisingly, this person named Riddle was the first owner of this diary.

However, no one has ever told me that this is a magic book!

This natural Gryffindor couldn't help but feel extremely curious.

The things she experienced this summer really made her excited - first, her idol Harry Potter moved into her house, then she received an owl letter from Hogwarts, and now, there was a magic diary hidden in the second-hand textbooks that she originally hated!

So she picked up the quill, dipped it in ink, and continued to try to write:

"Today is a special day—"

A short half sentence was written on it, but the ink was immediately absorbed as if it were written on a sponge, without even a scratch left.

Ginny turned the page in surprise, but the back of the paper was also clean.

Where did the ink go? Little Ginny stared with bright eyes, puzzled. At this moment, a horizontal line of handwriting slowly emerged on the empty paper, or it would be more appropriate to say a greeting.

"Hello, did anything good happen to you today?"

Ginny was startled and hurriedly threw away the quill in her hand and jumped aside, looking at the diary with fear on her face.

A magical item that can think is most likely evil.

Maybe I should talk to my mother about this?

Ginny couldn't help but wonder.

This thought almost occupied her mind, but she did not take any action. Instead, another thought began to grow slowly -

"My mother picked this diary out with the textbooks at Flourish and Blotts. If it was really dangerous, she wouldn't have given it to me."

'Maybe I can keep it, or see what tricks it can do. If anything happens, I can talk to my mother later.'

As a typical little lioness, Ginny was definitely not lacking in courage and curiosity. She bent down to pick up the old feather pen and slowly walked back to the desk. The line of greetings had not disappeared yet, as if waiting for her response.

"Who are you?"

The three words along with the greeting above flashed at the same time, then disappeared from Ginny's sight, and then another line of words appeared.

"My name is Tom Riddle, and I am a fragment of memory left by the owner of this diary. Where did you get it?"

After seeing this sentence, Ginny did not answer immediately. Instead, she opened her mouth and whispered "Harry Potter". After finding that what she said was still normal words, rather than boring five-line limericks, she breathed a sigh of relief and continued writing.

"My mother bought it in the second-hand section of Flourish and Blotts."

"The second-hand book section of Flourish and Blotts? So, you are also a student of Hogwarts?" The being in the diary seemed very surprised and delighted, as if he had met a stranger friend who he did not know but had a close connection with.

And the word "also" gave Ginny a great sense of intimacy.

"I'm just about to start my first year this year. Are you also a student at Hogwarts?"

"I used to be, but then I graduated. I never thought that the diary I left behind would end up in the hands of a young wizard at Hogwarts. Maybe this is fate. By the way, I haven't asked for your name yet?"

Ginny hesitated for a moment before writing her name.

"Ginevra Molly Weasley, you can call me Ginny."

At this moment, another line of words seemed to appear in the diary, but she didn't have time to read it. She was frightened by a knock on the door and closed the diary with a snap.

"Ginny, it's time for dinner! Are you asleep? I've called you several times." It was Molly Weasley's voice outside the door.

"No, Mom, I'll be right there."

The new book is launched, the internal investment has passed, please feel free to invest. Please collect and read it, this is really important to me as a little author, o(╥﹏╥)o.
