"What's wrong, what is he doing here?" Ron asked quickly.
"I'm the new Seeker for the Slytherin team, Weasley," Malfoy said smugly. "Just now everyone was admiring the broomsticks my father bought for our team."
Ron stared in amazement at the seven high-end brooms in front of him - Nimbus 2001s, which were even better than Harry's Nimbus 2000!
"That's pretty good, isn't it?" said Malfoy amiably. "But perhaps the Gryffindor team can get some gold for some new brooms, too. You could sell those sweeping fives for prize money, and I'm sure the museum would be willing to pay for them."
The Slytherins laughed raucously.
"At least no one on the Gryffindor team had to buy their way into the team," said Hermione sharply. "They got in purely on their own merit."
Malfoy's smug expression darkened, and it was obvious that these words hurt him thoroughly.
"No one asked you, you stinking little mudblood," he said harshly.
This statement immediately caused an explosive reaction.
Flint had to rush in front of Draco to prevent Fred and George from jumping on him. Alicia screamed, "How dare you!" Ron reached into his robes and pulled his wand out, shouting, "You'll pay for it, Malfoy!" He pointed furiously from under Flint's arm at Malfoy's face.
"Spit slugs!"
A huge explosion resounded throughout the stadium, and a green light shot out from the back of the wand and hit Ron in the abdomen, causing him to stagger and fall to the grass.
"Ron! Ron! Are you all right?" Hermione screamed.
Ron opened his mouth to reply, but instead of words he burped loudly, and a few slugs fell from his mouth onto his thighs.
The Gryffindors crowded around Ron, who was spitting out huge, shiny slugs, and nobody seemed to want to touch him. The Slytherins were paralyzed with laughter. Flint was bent over with his new broomstick. Malfoy was on all fours, pounding the ground with his fists.
Ginny seemed to have just come to her senses from this moment on. Dirty and filthy words entered her mind, and Ron's miserable state also made her very angry! She was already a little irritable, and when she saw Malfoy and the others being so abominable, she immediately used them as an outlet for her anger!
"Furnunculus!"
A curse immediately flew out from her wand, but it did not hit Malfoy, but instead hit Marcus Flint who was standing in front of Malfoy.
The big guy screamed immediately. His skin was burning under the effect of the spell, and it was covered with bumps and became extremely ugly, as if a layer of chili oil was poured on a festering wound!
Flint immediately glared at Ginny fiercely, and raised his wand with hatred on his face: "You little bastard - you dare to attack me -"
Fred and George rushed towards him immediately, grabbing his wand with their hands.
Wood and the others also reacted and immediately started to wrestle with the Slytherins.
"Harry! Take Ginny and Ron away!"
Someone shouted, and Harry finally reacted. He quickly helped the dirty Ron up and said, "Go to Hagrid's. It's the closest place!"
The four men pushed through the crowd and rushed out. Colin didn't know what was going on yet, and ran over without any tact to try to take a picture of Ron who was spitting out slugs.
"Get out of the way, Creevey!" Ginny pushed him away angrily.
Colin stared at them leaving, confused. Wasn't Ginny Weasley quite polite yesterday? They soon arrived at Hagrid's hut, but Lockhart came out. In order to avoid getting into trouble, Harry had to hide first. This was a very correct decision. If Lockhart had been allowed to treat Ron, he might have lost his life.
They waited until Lockhart was far away before knocking on Hagrid's room.
"Ron was hit by his own spell."
Hagrid wasn't too worried. He found a large copper basin and placed it in front of Ron. "It's better to spit it out than to swallow it. Spit it all out, Ron."
"I guess there's nothing to do but wait for it to stop on its own," Hermione said worriedly, looking at Ron leaning over the copper basin. "It's a difficult spell to cast even under the best conditions, and you use a broken wand..."
"Wait, maybe I can find a way to stop it." Ginny suddenly thought of something, "He taught me how to solve the curse..."
As she spoke, she picked up her wand and pointed it at Ron.
This made everyone else a little worried, after all, it was not a pleasant feeling to be pointed at by a magic wand.
"Will this—work—?" said Ron, vomiting.
"It's better to try than to do nothing." Ginny was very confident. The Knot Charm she had just cast was also taught by "Mr. Riddle", and it turned out to be very useful! Her wand shone again, and after the spell hit Ron, Ron shuddered all over, and although he was still vomiting, no slugs came out of his mouth.
"It works! How did you do it?" Hermione's eyes widened. She couldn't believe that Ginny, who had just entered school this year, could break the curse that she herself was helpless against.
"Well - I read it in a book." Ginny was very happy to see that her spell worked. This proved that "Mr. Riddle" did not deceive her.
"What book?" Hermione asked with shining eyes. "I'll go take a look later! I can't believe I missed such an important book!"
"Maybe I remembered it wrongly. It wasn't what I saw in the book. It might be Bill - yes, it was Bill who taught me!" Ginny said quickly.
Hermione was a little skeptical: "Really?"
Fortunately, Hagrid interrupted her and asked what had happened, so she told Harry everything.
"Malfoy said something nasty to Hermione, and it must have been something really nasty because everyone was so pissed off," said Harry.
"Very vicious," croaked Ron, who had almost recovered, pale and sweaty. "Malfoy called her 'Mudblood', and Hagrid -"
Hagrid looked indignant and shouted, "Is it true?"
"Yes," she said, "but I don't know what it means. Of course, I can tell it's very rude..."
"Mudblood is a slur for Muggle-borns - people whose parents are non-magical. Some wizards, like the Malfoys, think they're superior to everyone else because they're so-called pure-bloods," Ron explained. "But the rest of us know that's completely irrelevant. Look at Neville Longbottom - he's a pure-blood, but he can't even set the cauldron right."
"That's right, the spell that our Hermione can't use has not been invented by them yet!" Hagrid said proudly, and Hermione's face turned red with embarrassment.
"But I didn't expect you to be so brave, Ginny!"
"It's a pity that we didn't hit that annoying Malfoy." Ginny looked at Ron and said unhappily.
"It's not that bad. It would be a bit troublesome if it really hit. Malfoy's father is the director of Hogwarts." Hagrid said.
Then, they stayed at Hagrid's place for a while, because Ginny found that everything Mr. Riddle taught her was useful, so her mood improved again. Even after returning to the castle, she was punished by McGonagall for detention, which did not affect her mood at all.
