Chapter 111 Only One Room

"I can see that."

Hagrid walked in step by step. He was a regular at the Hog's Head Inn, and no one paid any attention to him except when he first came in.

He seemed to be in a bad mood. His huge body turned around in the narrow gap between the tables, almost knocking several customers to the ground. After looking around, he didn't find any other empty seats.

Most wizards avoided him, except for those who smuggled magical creatures and were eager to sell them.

Finally he pushed his way over to Cyrus and Tonks and sat down so carelessly that he almost overturned the table.

"Excuse me—" He took out a mini handkerchief and blew his nose. Cyrus felt as if a loud speaker was blowing in his ears. "Excuse me, can I sit here? There are no seats anywhere else."

Tonks was happy to do so, but Cyrus spoke first.

He pushed the unfinished glass of Firewhiskey in front of him towards Hagrid and said quietly, "Your treat."

"Thank you, thank you, you are such a kind person!" Hagrid's eyes were filled with tears, as if he had never felt such care and concern before. He picked up the glass and drank it all without hesitation, then let out a deafening burp.

He drank the wine and had a lot of bitterness in his heart that he wanted to pour out, but Cyrus stopped him.

"Hagrid, I know you may not feel very good, but we two still have things to discuss. Why don't you go to another table. Look, there is also an empty table there." He pointed to the goblin's seat, "I'll buy you a drink next time, Hagrid."

Goblin: ??? "Oh, okay, next time then." Hagrid naively thought that Cyrus really had something to talk about with Tonks. After all, how could someone who invited him to drink plot against him? So he immediately stood up, squeezed through the crowded table, and sat down opposite the goblin.

"etc……"

The goblin was stunned. Even though his face was wrapped tightly, Cyrus could still imagine the astonishment and anger on his face. He wanted to refuse, but suddenly his throat could not make any sound.

He looked at Cyrus with hatred on his face, as if he wanted to pounce on Cyrus and tear him into pieces immediately.

"How did you get rid of Hagrid?" Tonks asked.

"We're on a mission, obviously," said Cyrus calmly. "Besides - Hagrid is known to be a talkative person."

Cyrus had of course deliberately led Hagrid over. A carefree man like Hagrid might be able to get something out of the goblin, but even if he couldn't, it wouldn't be a big deal for him.

The goblin failed to stop Hagrid from sitting down, and Cyrus heard Hagrid order two more glasses of Firewhisky, and then he drank them while complaining to the goblin about how he had finally become a teacher at Hogwarts this school year, but something went wrong in his first class and he hurt the Malfoy child.

Although Hagrid was not very smart, he knew that if he messed with the school director's child, he might not end up well. When Ginny tried to attack Malfoy last year, Hagrid said that it was a good thing that her spell didn't hit him.

"It was just a minor injury! He was just pretending!" Hagrid drank some wine, and the anger in his heart immediately surged up, and his face turned red. "You know, he is far inferior to Harry. Last year, Harry broke his hand, but he didn't scream at all!"

In Hagrid's eyes, Harry is the best kid in the world, and Malfoy is not even worthy of carrying Harry's shoes. In addition, the second, third and fourth best kids are Hermione, Ginny and Ron respectively.

"I didn't even know he was a professor," Tonks whispered.

"After Tom Riddle was caught last year, all the stains on Hagrid were cleared. It just so happened that Mr. Kettleburn was old and wanted to retire, so Dumbledore found him," said Cyrus.

A person who truly loves magical animals will always subconsciously ignore their dangers, just like people who have dogs at home always think that dogs are not aggressive at all.

Cyrus will never forget that a relative of his in his previous life had a big dog at home. Every time it saw him, it would bark non-stop, which scared him out of his wits. But the relative always didn't take it seriously, saying "It's okay, it doesn't bite."

It turned out that the dog later bit another person.

It turns out that animals' fangs and claws are never just for show, and most animals - including humans - have an inherent desire to attack.

After that, Hagrid's topic went further and further, and he talked about his own father, because he felt that the little man sitting in front of him was about the same size as his father.

But Hagrid didn't talk about this topic for long before he shut up. When it came to his own life experience, Hagrid was more cautious than ever.

In the end, Hagrid didn't get anything out of him. The goblin just drank in silence. By the evening, most of the guests in the bar had left. Hagrid also left drunk. The goblin didn't go anywhere, and it seemed that he planned to stay at the Hog's Head Inn permanently.

Cyrus asked for a room as well.

The two walked to the door of the room in silence. Tonks suddenly stopped and stared with wide eyes: "Why do you only need one room?"

"I don't want one room for myself, do I want two?"

"You're alone? What about me?" Tonks asked incredulously, "Are you going to let me sleep on the street?"

"Can't you go back to your own home and sleep?" Cyrus said matter-of-factly, "Could it be that you prefer the environment of the Hog's Head? If so, then you really should go to St. Mungo's and have your brain checked out."

"How can an Auror go home after completing a mission?" Tonks showed a look of "are you kidding me?" "Besides, you can go home too, don't you have a home that you can't go back to?"

"Why don't you just open another one?" Cyrus rolled his eyes. It was no big deal. The Ministry of Magic would reimburse the expenses anyway.

Tonks snorted and immediately turned around and went downstairs.

After a while, just as Cyrus had used several cleaning techniques on the room, Tonks came up again with her head down.

"No room!"

There aren't many people staying at the Hog's Head Inn, so there are very few rooms.

Cyrus was stunned for a moment and was about to close the door.

Tonks, however, had already bent down flexibly and slipped under his arm.
