Chapter 15 Spell Practice, Unsuccessful Patronus Charm

The next morning, Ginny came to the hall drowsily. Thinking about what happened last night, she still found it a little hard to believe.

She actually agreed to lend her body to Mr. Riddle. And she lent her body out again that night. Now it seems that it is just as she thought. Although she is a little tired, there is no accident.

Mr. Riddle would never harm her.

Ginny dazedly spread the jam on the bread and stuffed it into her mouth mechanically.

Then, a loud and piercing sound exploded in the auditorium, waking her up suddenly.

"Ron - how dare you cast a spell on your classmates! And you also led your sister astray - less than a month after the start of school! You dare to do such a thing - and you, Fred, George! -"

Ginny saw a red letter turned into a mouth, floating above the Gryffindor table and cursing!

It had scolded Ron and the twins almost immediately, and now it was turning to itself.

This made her face turn pale.

Yesterday I only remembered what happened to Mr. Riddle and completely forgot that Professor McGonagall told my mother about the curse she cast on senior students.

Seeing the letter coming, Ginny wanted to run away immediately. It would be too embarrassing to be scolded in front of everyone. In fact, the two classmates who were originally sitting next to her had already jumped away when they saw that something was wrong, for fear of being accidentally injured by the sound of the shouting letter.

However, to Ginny's surprise, when the Howler hovered in front of her, Molly's voice suddenly became gentle: "I heard about everything, little Ginny. I have to say, you did a good job. Don't worry, no one is bothering your father. If Percy was cursed by a first-year student, then we would have nothing to say. Of course, don't be so impulsive next time. It's best to tell the professors if you encounter any trouble, okay? See you during the Christmas holidays."

After saying this, the Howling Letter immediately caught fire.

Ron and the twins are a bit unbalanced.

If we really want to talk about bad people, it was Ginny who was the bad one. In fact, only her spell was successful, but they were the only ones who were scolded.

"Do you think this is fair?" Ron said angrily.

"Okay, she's your sister after all." Fred and George were quite open-minded.

"And Ginny was really cool yesterday."

Ever since what happened yesterday became widely known in Gryffindor, Ginny has almost become a hero of Gryffindor. In comparison, Ron seems a little frustrated.

Ron was still very angry, as if nothing good could happen to him. Thinking of this, Ron looked sadly at the broken wand covered with tape. If it weren't for this thing, maybe his spell would have succeeded.

"Take it easy and don't be jealous of Ginny. If it weren't for her, you might still be spitting slugs now." Hermione comforted.

"I'm not jealous of her, she is my sister. I just think it's a bit unfair, as if I'm the only one who's unlucky." Ron had no choice but to sit down and gnaw on the chicken leg gloomily.

"I just hope Marcus Flint doesn't leave the hospital before the official match." Harry said with a smile, and then whispered to Ron and Hermione what he heard last night. In fact, he had already told Ron last night, but neither of them had any clues. - In the following days, Cyrus used Ginny's body to act at night from time to time.

He didn't intend to control the basilisk to kill people. In fact, the plan had not really started yet. He spent most of his time practicing spells in the Room of Requirement. Although Cyrus absorbed Riddle's memory and theoretical knowledge, knowing the theory and being able to use spells skillfully were not the same thing. Considering the difficulties he might face after his resurrection, Cyrus needed to make his magic strong enough.

He slowly ate away at Ginny's vitality, but also paid attention to maintaining a limit. These days, Ginny looked like she had a cold.

In the spacious classroom, several wooden puppets rushed towards "Ginny" quickly.

"Ginny" - actually Cyrus - had a cold look in his eyes, holding the yew wand in his hand. Facing the siege, he was not at all panicked.

It was not until the puppet at the front approached that Cyrus raised his wand like lightning and shot out a spell.

Hit by the curse, the puppet didn't even last for a second before it exploded and turned into powder flying everywhere.

Then, without stopping, Cyrus rolled to the ground to avoid the attacks of the other two puppets, but he did not look embarrassed at all. He half-crouched and turned around, splitting the two puppets into sixteen pieces! Under his control, the puppet fragments floated up and hit the rest of the puppets like meteorites, knocking them down.

Then, the hard ground bulged up and several huge hands stretched out, grabbing them and making them unable to move.

In the blink of an eye, he had dealt with more than a dozen puppets without casting any spells during this time.

Cyrus was quite satisfied with his performance. After all, his body belonged to Ginny now. The magic power of a one-year-old wizard was not strong, and it was incredible that he could achieve this level. You know, those puppets have magical protection.

"Try the Patronus Charm." Cyrus thought for a moment, closed his eyes and began to recall memories that he could call "happy".

He easily began to recall his past life -

Although he seemed to have become emotionally numb to life as an adult, his memories of his childhood were still pleasant.

Dense silk threads gushed out from the tip of the wand, like white velvet, or like the silk threads spit out by a silkworm.

"Not very good -"

However, perhaps the memory is too distant and no longer clear. Although these threads are intertwined in the air, they never take shape.

"Am I too calm?" Cyrus lowered his head and pondered. After a moment, he planned to recite the spell again.

This time he tried hard to recall his childhood memories. At that time, he had no worries, was carefree, and yearned for fairy tales. It seemed that the whole world was clean and beautiful.

"Expect God to Guard!"

The magic power flowing out of the front end of the magic wand became stronger! The dense silver threads turned into large clumps, but they still did not take shape, but were like a white, half-bright and half-dark cloud.

Soon, the magic in him, or rather Ginny's body, was drained away.

Cyrus had to stop practicing, put away his wand and leave the Room of Requirement.

But just as he turned the corner, he heard a sharp roar in his ears: "Stop!"

It's Monday again. Going to work is so painful... Darlings, please give me some money to comfort me. (End of this chapter)
