Chapter 42 The Secret That Was Spoken (Please Vote and Read)

"Is this the thing my father talked about that can help me open the secret room?"

Draco picked up the diary and read it from different angles, but he didn't find anything strange about it. And -

This diary looks like something that came from the Muggle world!

This made Draco Malfoy feel a little disgusted, and he even felt that the two fingers pinching the corner of the book were no longer useful. However, in order to become the heir of Slytherin, Malfoy was determined to endure this "dirt" and "stench", but in the end he didn't even know how to use the diary.

"Show yourself quickly!"

The diary has not changed at all.

"What the hell, my father told me to be respectful to the owner of the diary!" He opened the cover and looked at the only handwriting on the cover with disdain, "TM Riddle". As soon as he heard it, he knew that he was not a pure-blood wizard.

"I just hope he's at least a half-blood. I can't stand it if he's another mudblood!"

The thought of that Hermione Granger made him sick.

"Let me write something." He spread the diary on the table, picked up a feather pen that looked very expensive, dipped it in ink, and wrote on the notebook.

"Show me your secret!" - "Ginny, what's your secret?"

The four Weasley brothers surrounded Ginny, and Harry and Hermione also blocked Ginny's escape route.

After the class this morning, someone discovered that Ginny's dormitory had been robbed.

The thief was probably looking for something and turned her room upside down. When Ginny came back, she kept searching through the mess, repeating in a lost voice, "It's gone..."

They all wanted to know what it was that made Ginny and the thief so important?

Except for the twins.

Now the two of them were very nervous. What was so important to Ginny? ——The Marauder's Map! Fred and George looked at each other with bad expressions on their faces. Fred asked with a heartache: "Is it really lost?"

Ginny just nodded automatically.

"What on earth is it?" Ron and Percy were a little annoyed by their charades. But obviously, neither Ginny nor the twins could reveal their own secrets, so they could only be vague.

"It's our only hope of catching the murderer." George sighed and said, "Without it, maybe we really won't be able to find the murderer."

This made Ginny look at the two of them strangely.

'Do George and Fred know about Mr Riddle?'

Cyrus had never told Ginny about the Marauder's Map, and at this moment Ginny thought the twins were talking about Riddle's diary. In her opinion, Mr. Riddle must have had some clues, so it was stolen by the Slytherin heir.

From this perspective, it is quite reasonable to describe the diary as the hope of catching the murderer.

"In that case, we should tell the professors about this!" Hermione and Percy both agreed that the professors should catch the thief. However, this proposal was immediately opposed by three people.

"no!"

Ginny, Fred, and George immediately shook their heads.

If the Marauder's Map falls into the hands of professors, will those students who attempt to violate discipline have a future?

If the diary falls into the hands of the professors, will there be any future for him and Mr. Riddle?

"Absolutely not!"

"What on earth are you three hiding from me?" Percy frowned. He suspected that the twins were messing around with Ginny, or maybe the stolen items were not important at all, but props they were going to use for pranks?

"No——" Ginny's reaction was even bigger than the twins. Mom always loved her very much. If she knew about this, it would definitely make a big fuss. In that case, Mr. Riddle would...

Percy must be stopped! She remembered that Cyrus had told her about Percy's little secret, so she immediately threatened: "You can't tell anyone, Percy! Otherwise, I will tell your secret!"

Percy immediately blushed and fell silent.

The rest of the people looked at each other, wanting to know what the secret was, which made the always conservative Percy give in.

In response, Percy could only use his authority as an older brother to drive them away one by one.

Now, Ginny was at peace. But she was still unhappy. She was hesitating whether to tell Dumbledore about the diary. Although the diary might be destroyed if her mother knew about it, it would not be a good thing if it fell into the hands of that bad guy.

Not long after, Ron and his two companions secretly gathered around again.

"Listen, Ginny, what exactly is missing from your life?" Harry looked at her seriously. "If it's really important, you can tell us and we can help you!"

Ron and Hermione also nodded vigorously.

But Ginny still hesitated to speak.

"No way?" Ron said impatiently. "I can't believe it, Ginny! We can be said to have shared weal and woe! Who drank such a disgusting polyjuice potion to investigate Malfoy? We broke hundreds of school rules together! Don't you believe us?"

Ginny really wanted to say that the person acting with them was actually "Mr. Riddle", but from another perspective, at least the three of them were indeed trustworthy.

"Please, Ginny! We need your help. If we can't find the real murderer, Harry will always be wrongly accused, and we don't want to see him go to Azkaban unjustly."

Being watched by three pairs of eyes - mainly Hermione and Harry - Ginny finally made up her mind.

Hermione is very smart and might be able to help. If I try to find the diary by myself, I won't know where to start!

"You must promise not to tell anyone!" Ginny looked at them seriously.

"I promise!" Ron blurted out first, looking completely insincere.

"Swear first!"

The three little ones looked at each other and made an oath, but there was no magical constraint.

"Let's go to a deserted place first." Ginny said. Actually, there were not many people in the common room, but this place was too public. She led Harry and the others to an abandoned secret room, and the three little ones were stunned along the way.

"There's actually a place like this in Hogwarts!"

"You can tell me now, right?" Ron said, his hands on his hips.

"The thing that was stolen was a diary!" Ginny finally said.

"Diary? But what's the big deal about a diary?" Harry and Hermione were both very confused.

"That diary is different, that's Mr. Riddle's diary!"

"Riddle?" Ron shouted. "Tom Riddle?"

Finally, it's on the first round of recommendations. Whether a book can be promoted is really important. Darlings, please read it. If you have votes, you can also vote for it. Thank you very much.
