Chapter 62 Tutoring Class

The next morning, when Cyrus was sitting at the Slytherin table eating breakfast with sleepy eyes, an owl carrying a letter flew in front of him.

Cyrus took the letter, fed the owl something to eat, and immediately opened the letter.

The letter was from Lucius and Narcissa. On the surface, it seemed to be just an ordinary letter expressing their concern and regards for their son. However, Cyrus saw the secret code in the letter at a glance. After casting a secret revealing spell, the real content flashed away.

Lucius had convinced the other directors to remove Dumbledore from the school as soon as the next victim appeared, and he also did some mobilization at the Ministry of Magic to ensure that Hagrid could be sent to Azkaban for a few days.

Cyrus was excited, but he remained calm on the surface, as if he was reading an ordinary letter. He folded the letter and put it back into his sleeve silently.

The two little followers sitting next to him seemed to want to talk to him, but considering that Malfoy seemed to have become a different person during this period, they dared not say anything.

"What's wrong?" Cyrus glared at them with Malfoy's unique arrogance.

"No, nothing..."

"I'm done eating. Bye." Cyrus stood up alone and walked through the dining tables that were full of people. Many people greeted him, but he ignored any of them. Instead, he was thinking about when to launch the next decisive attack.

Right now?

Or should we wait a little longer? 'I still have no idea about refining the Philosopher's Stone, and I am not ready to confront Dumbledore. 'Cyrus was most worried about Dumbledore.

But if the plan went well, he wouldn't have to face Dumbledore.

"Don't make any more mistakes next time!"

The Christmas surprise really caught him off guard, but fortunately nothing bad happened. Cyrus thought about it carefully and decided to continue according to the development of the original book. The next attack would be on the day of the Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, and the target of the attack would naturally be——

"What can't go wrong?"

A voice suddenly interrupted Cyrus's thoughts. He looked up and saw Lockhart with a smile on his face.

"Haha, I guess you must be talking about the next Quidditch match, right?" Lockhart showed a self-satisfied expression, and then began to brag without caring about Cyrus' feelings.

"You stole the show yesterday. You did a great job! I have to say, you did almost half as good as I did. Didn't I mention that I was also a seeker in the school team when I was a student? The Ravenclaw team! To be honest, if your opponent was me, it would not be so easy for you to win! "And your hand, it's recovering well. You know, I could have cured you right away--"

"Professor, what can I do for you?" Cyrus interrupted Lockhart's meaningless speech. He was not interested in listening to this guy bragging.

"I think I can give you a little help in Quidditch. If you plan to join a world-famous team in the future, you'd better listen to my advice." Lockhart said proudly, "I received letters from many teams back then, but unfortunately, I am not interested in this. The Quidditch world has lost a rising star!"

"No thanks, Professor. I'm not that interested in Quidditch. And I don't intend to be a star player."

He almost understood what Lockhart was thinking.

The other party obviously took a fancy to his Quidditch talent and planned to make him his "student". In this way, if he became famous in the future, his reputation would naturally rise as well.

Unfortunately, he wasn't interested. Not only was he not interested, but Malfoy himself was not interested.

"Don't like Quidditch? You are wasting your talent, Mr. Malfoy. After all, not everyone is as good as me. Even if you leave Quidditch aside, you can still make achievements in many aspects. And I am the owner of the Order of Merlin, Class 3—"

"I'm sorry, Professor, you can get as much of that stuff as you want by donating some money to the Ministry of Magic." Cyrus said bluntly, "And Professor, maybe your memory is not very good, but my name is Draco Malfoy. Apart from my talent for Quidditch, I also have a lot of inheritance to inherit!"

After saying that, he didn't care about Lockhart's expression, turned sideways and walked away from him. After avoiding Lockhart, Ginny and the other four chased after him.

"Why are you here?"

"We saw you came out after receiving a letter, so we followed you."

"What's the matter? I saw Lockhart talking to you just now?" Ron glanced at Hermione first, then asked, "I guess he must be bragging again. Is he going to teach you how to play Quidditch?"

"You really know him, Ron." Cyrus said with a little admiration, "He even said that he was the Seeker of Ravenclaw back then."

"I saw through him a long time ago!" Ron was very happy that he guessed right, which made Hermione a little unhappy.

"In fact, Professor Lockhart is indeed the Seeker of Ravenclaw."

"Maybe, but you know I worked in the medal room, and during his time at school, Ravenclaw never won the Quidditch trophy. Admit it, Hermione, he's just a lousy player! Billy, much worse than Malfoy!" Ron said provocatively.

But surprisingly, Hermione just snorted and didn't respond.

"By the way, do you have any good suggestions about course selection for the third grade?" After a while, Hermione seemed to remember something and turned her head to ask.

After the Easter holidays, the deans of the various colleges could not handle the course selection. Hermione took this very seriously, while Harry and Ron were quite casual about it. However, it would be good for them to listen to "Riddle's" opinions, at least they didn't have to rack their brains.

"In general, Care of Magical Creatures is very important, but I heard that Professor Kettleburn will retire next year. I don't know who will take over this course. Of the two Divination courses, I only recommend Arithmancy. The other one, how should I put it, does require a bit of talent. Ancient Magic Runes is more of a reference, and I recommend Alchemy among the others. Or you can choose all of them if you don't want to miss them."

Cyrus said.

"I just want to give up Potions class." Harry said dejectedly.

"Potions is very important, Harry. Even if you don't plan to be an Auror in the future, knowing more about potions can prevent you from being poisoned by others."

"But I can't think of anyone else who would poison me except Snape."

"Of course there are, such as Voldemort's subordinates, the Death Eaters."

Cyrus saw Ron shudder.

"I beg you not to say that name, especially since he is still alive..."

"Okay, anyway, the only course I don't recommend you to take is Muggle Studies. It's not that the course is unimportant, but the content is just bullshit. However, it is understandable, after all, wizards sometimes find it difficult to understand Muggle technology. As for other courses, you can ask senior students. After so many years, maybe the teaching content now is different from when I was there."

Finally, Cyrus chose Alchemy, Ancient Magic Runes and Care of Magical Creatures for Malfoy. As for Hermione, she immediately marked all the subjects after hearing Cyrus say that he could choose all of them.

"Don't I have too many subjects to learn? Can you help me with my studies now?" Hermione pestered Cyrus.

"Tutoring? You haven't even finished second grade yet, and you're planning on tutoring for third grade content?" Ron looked at him like he was a madman. You know, he hasn't even started reviewing for the final exam yet!

"Why not? I advise you two to prepare early. After all, this will affect our entire future." Hermione glared at him and dragged Cyrus to the library.

Ron and Harry looked at each other, both thinking that what Hermione said was a bit too exaggerated.

When Ginny saw Hermione start to study with Cyrus, she didn't want to fall behind, so she borrowed the second grade textbook and asked Cyrus all kinds of questions.

Cyrus also told them an additional bubble head spell.

In the end they were kicked out by an annoyed Madam Pince.
