Chapter 11 Follow-up to the restaurant incident
Professor McGonagall announced the final penalty, Slytherin was deducted 100 points, and Draco was confined for 15 days in Professor McGonagall's office. Michael was confined for one day in Professor Flitwick's office. The
confinement time is from after dinner to midnight every day.
This punishment can be said to be very serious, especially for Draco.
Not only was he punished with 15 days of confinement, but he also caused Slytherin to be deducted 100 points. You know, Slytherin has won the House Cup for several consecutive years in recent years. Draco's actions have made Slytherin's hope of winning the cup this year slim.
Professor Snape did not react when he saw Slytherin being deducted points, but Michael was not surprised. As Dumbledore's confidant, Snape must know that this year's House Cup has been internally given to Gryffindor.
Mike was very satisfied with this result. He was only locked up for one day, and it was in Professor Flitwick's office. This was simply a reward for him. He could ask Professor Flitwick questions for a whole night. Just thinking about it made him happy.
The crowd that had gathered in the restaurant to watch the excitement dispersed under the drive of the various prefects. Mike and Draco were also taken back by their respective deans.
But the difference was that Draco followed behind Snape with bad luck written all over his face. His expression was just like he had eaten something disgusting. Mike walked with his head held high and slightly behind Flitwick. Many people around him were applauding Mike. Most of these people were Muggle-born or half-blood, and they had long been annoyed with those pure-blood nobles.
"I'm sorry, Mike." Professor Flitwick looked at Mike with an apologetic look, "I just promised you."
"It's okay, professor. I can protect myself. My petrification spell is not vegetarian." Mike raised the wand in his hand.
"Hahaha." Professor Flitwick was amused by Mike's behavior. "Yes, your petrification spell is indeed the best I have seen among the freshmen. But when facing such people, I personally prefer to use the fire spell. Forget that you don't know the fire spell yet, it doesn't matter, I can teach you tonight."
Mike was not very happy when he heard this. He had seen records about the fire spell in the library of Ravenclaw. It was not a very difficult spell, and the power was not very strong. It could be easily extinguished by a water spell. But he still had to pretend to be very happy.
The two of them talked and laughed all the way back to the Ravenclaw common room. At this time, the news that Mike defeated Malfoy with a petrification spell in the restaurant had also spread to the ears of these students. They gathered around to ask for details of the matter.
After Flitwick and Mike accompanied the students to explain for a long time, everyone returned to their original seats and continued to read books. Professor Flitwick also returned to his office.
At this time, a sturdy black guy came forward and said excitedly: "You did a great job! I've been annoyed with those pure-bloods for a long time, those blood discriminations!"
Mike remembered this guy, his name was Franklin Clinton, he was also a Muggle, and he was the tallest among their batch of freshmen. Mike didn't understand why he joined Ravenclaw. According to his size, Gryffindor should be his home. "Thank you, Franklin, this is what I should do. These pure-blood trash should be punished as they deserve."
Franklin was not surprised that Mike remembered his name. He knew that his size would attract a lot of attention to him.
"That's right! I'm determined to make you my friend! Next time something like this happens, you must call me, I will beat them to a pulp!" Franklin said.
"Of course, we so-called mudbloods must unite to fight against those who discriminate against people by blood." Mike thought this black man with a very American name was very interesting, maybe he could win him over, "Hey, you know what? The first time I saw you, I felt that we were destined to be together! We will be friends in the future. If you have any problems, just come to me and I will do my best to help you."
Franklin was very happy. This black guy had not had a good time in the past few days. Everyone was reluctant to get too close to him because of his size. Mike was the first person who was willing to be friends with him.
Mike had to talk to Franklin again, who was still not satisfied. The child was very excited.
Mike, who got rid of Franklin, was ready to go to the kitchen to find something to eat. He had just started a fight with Draco halfway through his meal. Now it was past the time for the restaurant to serve food, so he had to go to the kitchen to trouble those elves.
Just as he walked out of the Ravenclaw common room, he found that the three saviors were waiting at the door of the Ravenclaw common room early. Seeing him come out, Harry and Ron hurried forward.
"You did a great job! Did you see Draco's expression? His expression at the end was just like that of a bean that tasted like earwax." Harry and Ron said one after another, "Yes, Professor Mike explained to us what a mudblood is. He really deserves it!"
Mike perfunctorily answered them, and he also noticed Hermione in the corner.
Hermione's eyes were still red, and she stood there with her head down, holding a paper bag in her arms, looking very aggrieved.
Mike noticed that the paper bag should contain food, and the oil stains had soaked into the surface of the paper bag.
"Hey, Hermione! Is this for me? Thank you so much, I'm hungry." Mike could see that Hermione felt a little guilty about his detention, and said so deliberately.
"I noticed that you didn't seem to have finished your lunch." Hermione handed the paper bag to Mike, "It's all my fault. You were put in detention because of me."
Hermione started crying again. Mike hurriedly comforted her, "It's okay, Hermione. We are friends, aren't we? This time Malfoy came for me. I got you into trouble. And in my opinion, it wasn't a detention at all. You know, Professor Flitwick is an expert in spells. I would love to be put in detention in his office."
"Really? Don't lie to me." Hermione slowly stopped crying after hearing that. Mike was one of her few friends. The Gryffindor students didn't like her very much. They thought she was just a nerd who stuck to the rules. "Of course, you do
n't have to care at all. You know, we are friends, aren't we?" Mike was so hungry that he was seeing stars. He quickly opened the paper bag, "Oh! Sausages and chicken legs! My favorite! Thank you so much, Hermione."
Hermione lowered her head once after hearing that to hide her shyness.
Mike didn't pay attention to Hermione's actions. In his opinion, Hermione, Harry and Ron were just little brats, even younger than his son and daughter.
"My daughter is still sensible." Mike sighed in his heart.
Harry and Ron only cared about how handsome he was in the restaurant just now. Only Hermione noticed that he hadn't finished his meal, which reminded him of his daughter in his previous life: Tracy.
Once upon a time, Tracy was also such a filial and sensible little girl. It's a pity that later, I don't know why, she actually wanted to shoot that kind of movie. It's really a misfortune for her family.
Spoiler, the role of Franklin Clinton will be an important supporting role.
I believe some of you can tell from his name.
