Chapter 35 Chris Closes the Door

Chapter 35 Chris Closes the Door

In the Slytherin Common Room, Draco was telling his companions how luxurious the Christmas party held at his home was, and how distinguished the guests were. Just as he was talking excitedly, he was interrupted by a voice.

"Draco! It's bad!" Chris said breathlessly, "That lunatic Mike is blocking the door of Slytherin and wants to make trouble for you."

"What!" Draco was shocked, "Chris, close the door quickly! Don't let him in!"

Draco really didn't want to deal with Mike anymore. Last time, he only offended Mike verbally. According to his expectation, Mike should be angry and helpless, but he didn't expect Mike to cast a petrifying curse directly. The

most hateful thing is that Mike didn't receive any punishment afterwards, but was locked up for half a month. Professor McGonagall is not his godfather. Draco's half-month confinement was actually facing a wall for half a month. Teenagers aged 11 or 12 are naughty and restless. When Draco was facing the wall, he was even fixed in front of the wall by Professor McGonagall with the petrification spell several times because of his improper standing posture.

After half a month of confinement, Draco felt that the spell he hated most in his life was the petrification spell!

In Draco's eyes, Mike was a complete lunatic who didn't care about the school rules at all. If he was allowed to enter Slytherin and was beaten up in front of so many classmates, he would really be ashamed to face people.

"I think it's better for you to go and take a look." Chris looked strange, "There are already a lot of people gathered at the door. Mike said a lot... uh, a lot of unpleasant things."

Draco couldn't help but clench his fists when he heard Chris say that. He understood what Chris meant. If he just let Mike shout at the door and didn't fight back, the consequences would be no different from having him beaten up in public. And he didn't necessarily lose to Mike.

"Good brother, you are still thoughtful." Draco patted Chris's shoulder vigorously, "Let's go."

When Draco and Chris arrived at the entrance of Slytherin, there were already many people gathered there, all of whom were Slytherin students. The center of the crowd was Mike, Franklin and Dolphin.

The moment Draco saw Dolphin, he understood what was going on. It was nothing more than beating the younger and the older one came. Looking at the many Slytherin students surrounding him, Draco finally felt relieved. No matter how strong Mike was, he couldn't beat so many people.

So he said calmly: "Mike, don't go too far! And Dolphin, you little glutton (glutton is a contemptuous name for Hufflepuff in Slytherin) actually have the nerve to appear in front of me. It seems that I didn't deal with you properly last time!" Hearing

Draco talking about this, Dolphin was almost furious. But with so many Slytherins watching, he didn't dare to get angry, and looked aggrieved but dared not speak.

At this time, Mike spoke.

"Draco, don't you think your behavior is despicable? You call yourself a pure-blood noble, but you bully Thorfinn, who is also one of the 28 pure-blood families, and there are several people bullying one. Are you afraid that you can't beat Thorfinn alone?"

"You are talking nonsense!" Draco was very angry.

"Thorfinn is my friend, I must seek justice for him. Since you are all pure-bloods, then use the pure-blood way to solve problems, wizard duel! You decide the time and place!" Mike showed a mocking smile on his face, "But you won't be afraid to come this time like Harry did?"

"You are talking nonsense! Tonight at the same place, whoever doesn't come is a dog!" Draco was a little panicked. He was afraid that Mike would continue to tell Harry about his last trick, and then he would become a joke.

"Okay, but you may be wrong. The one who wants to duel with you is Thorfinn, and I am just his assistant." After saying that, Mike pushed Thorfinn up.

Thorfinn didn't expect Mike to do this, and he almost fell flat on his face. After stabilizing himself, he wanted to say something harsh, but seeing Draco's murderous eyes, he finally backed off and retreated to Mike's side.

The people around him laughed when they saw Dolphin's cowardly look, but Draco couldn't laugh.

Mike was a student that Flitwick was very optimistic about. It was needless to say how strong he was. If he took Goyle or Crabbe with him, he might not be able to beat Mike. As for standing them up like last time, Draco would never dare to do it. This time, many people knew about it. If he didn't go, it would be more embarrassing than being defeated.

After thinking about it, Draco finally found a suitable assistant, Chris.

Chris's full name is Chris Flint, and he is also one of the 28 pure-blood families. He is different from the two idiots Goyle and Crabbe. The Flint family is not weaker than the Malfoy family. Chris's strength is needless to say. One word can describe it: fierce!

Malfoy used his eyes to ask Chris's opinion. The two were of equal status, and Malfoy could not order Chris around like he ordered Goyle and Crabbe around.

Chris, who was standing aside, received Malfoy's gaze and nodded gently. The Flint family and the Malfoy family have been friends for generations. He and Draco have also grown up together and he cannot turn a blind eye to his friend's troubles.

Seeing that Chris agreed to the request, Malfoy was delighted and said to Mike, "My assistant is Chris! You are dead this time!"

When Mike heard Draco mention it, he noticed the black-haired boy who had been standing next to him.

The boy was about the same age as Draco, with a head of naturally curly black medium-short hair. He stood there straight as a pine tree, and it was obvious that he had received a good education.

Seeing that Mike was staring at him, Chris even smiled at Mike.

Mike nodded at him as a greeting, and said to Draco: "We'll see."

...

After leaving Slytherin, Thorfinn finally couldn't help it and said: "Why should I duel with Draco! Shouldn't you help me teach him a lesson? This is different from what we agreed on."

"Don't worry, you won't lose with me here." Mike yawned lazily, "Then nominally you will have defeated Draco, wouldn't it be great?"

Thorfinn was somewhat tempted by what Mike said, but his cowardly nature still made him very hesitant.

Looking at his cowardly appearance, Mike was too lazy to say anything more to him, and called Franklin back to the Ravenclaw common room.

Before leaving, he left a sentence:

"Don't forget tonight, if you stand me up, you know the consequences."
