Before the excitement of the gold bricks had worn off, another huge surprise arrived. Cheng Zhenzhu suddenly felt like she was going to make a fortune.
This large-scale mission is so exciting! After the generous rewards, there is such a big surprise...
Perhaps because the other big turtle saw that Cheng Zhenzhu really liked her, it used its head to push Cheng Zhenzhu forward.
Cheng Zhenzhu walked forward a few meters and stopped at the edge of the system's protection range. "This is as far as I can go."
"Look, there are so many." The big turtle gestured to Pearl to look through its small eyes.
Cheng Zhenzhu looked in the direction of the small eye on the sea turtle's head, and was instantly shocked by the scene before her.
Beneath the deep, blue, and tranquil sea, the decaying remains of a massive ship lay dormant. Its mast was already tilted, yet it still struggled to hold on, as if to express its stubborn unwillingness.
There really is a shipwreck...
"Thump, thump, thump~" Cheng Zhenzhu heard the distant and somewhat unreal sound of kicking the bed board, and pulled herself out of the shock.
Liu Tiao was awake, so she had to go check it out. The location of the ancient shipwreck was not within the system's protection range, so she would find a time to come back tomorrow...
"I have to go first. Thank you for today." Cheng Zhenzhu said goodbye to the two turtles, suppressing her excitement that she had not yet digested.
The turtle nodded, told her to tighten the net, and led her back to the surface.
Who said the Turtle Friend Halo is useless? It's totally irrelevant...
Cheng Zhenzhu went ashore, put the wet gold bricks and pearl necklace into a cardboard box in her personal space, and then exited the system map.
"Guoguo~" Liu Tiao grabbed his mother's clothes and tried to get up.
Cheng Zhenzhu picked up the struggling little guy and took him outside to dig some apple puree to eat.
This energetic little kid has a great memory. He kept thinking about eating an apple before going to bed and even remembered it when he woke up...
"Cool~" The three brothers who ran into the house were delighted when they saw Cheng Zhenzhu digging apple puree for Liu Tiao.
"Go wash your hands. One for each of you today." Cheng Zhenzhu said happily.
They can eat a big, fragrant, red apple! The three brothers were overjoyed and ran towards the kitchen.
Cheng Zhenzhu prepared the apples and cut one into four small pieces. San Tiao didn't like to eat the whole apple and preferred to eat it separately.
"Kacha kacha~"
After being busy for a while, the three brothers had good appetites and soon finished the whole big apple, even biting the core clean.
After dinner, the brothers went to the yard to continue working on the firewood. One was breaking the wood, two were bundling it, and three were picking up broken sticks to insert into the bundles. They were very busy and happy...
Cheng Zhenzhu looked at the three busy little kids and decided to reward them well tonight.
Stew a chicken with mushrooms, potatoes, and radishes, then make a plate of ham and scrambled eggs, stir-fry some lettuce, and add some oyster sauce...
The six were held by Cheng Zhenzhu while she was cooking. It was rare that they didn't make any trouble. They just rolled their eyes and drooled a few times.
After the chicken soup had been stewing for half an hour, the aroma began to spread everywhere.
Several people with sharp noses smelled it immediately and ran to the stove with small stools to guard it.
Liu Tiao was unwilling to move, lying on Cheng Zhenzhu's shoulder, grabbing at the fragrant white mist and not forgetting to put it in his mouth to suck a few times...
At around 5:30, the chicken was out of the pot, and the two dishes in the other pot were also out of the pot.
The chicken stewed with mushrooms has a stronger aroma. The little kids didn’t even want to eat rice and each of them gnawed on a chicken leg first.
There were only two chicken drumsticks, but the four brothers didn't give their mother any trouble at all. One, two, and three each got a drumstick, and the third wanted more bones, so he asked for two chicken wings, which he devoured with great relish.
The six of them shared some soft stewed potatoes and radishes, and contentedly lifted their feet and exclaimed "Wow wow wow" twice...
After eating and taking a short rest, it was time to go to sleep. After Cheng Zhenzhu and the other four little ones fell asleep, she slipped into the space to see the big precious gold bricks and other gifts that the turtle had given her.
She ignored the broken porcelain pieces for the time being.
After taking the two necklaces apart, there were four complete large round pearls, and the other dozen or so had some damage to the skin.
Cheng Zhenzhu took two boxes and packed the pearls separately. She also put the gold bead she had obtained earlier and the four large, round pearls away.
The only thing left was the gold bricks, which were now completely dry and gleaming like a mirror, making them even more eye-catching.
Cheng Zhenzhu weighed them and found that there were five gold bricks, each weighing six kilograms, which means she suddenly owned 30 kilograms of gold!
Judging from this, the gold purity should be quite high.
When the gold market becomes regulated in the 1980s, she'll definitely make a fortune with these few gold bars! Tomorrow, she'll think of a way to explore the shipwreck; maybe there'll be even more gold bars...
Thinking of this, Cheng Zhenzhu couldn't sleep any more. She was a vulgar person, she just liked this kind of golden vulgar things...
But I should just get some sleep for now. I've been up all night trying to eradicate the red tide. Cheng Zhenzhu returned to bed and fell into a dream filled with joy.
In her dream, she seemed to see her nephews. They had grown taller and fatter. They were lively and cheerful, and seemed unaffected by her departure.
That’s great... Cheng Zhenzhu was even happier and her smile was on her face the whole night.
Happy events bring joy to people. Cheng Zhenzhu got up early the next morning and dressed in high spirits.
I got up and caught two fish for the four or five people sleeping in the kitchen stove, and cooked a dozen or so shrimps. Then I scooped a bowl of seaweed mud I had obtained yesterday and sat down to study it.
