Cheng Zhenzhu took a pair of scissors and opened one of the packages. She found a can of malted milk inside. It also contained four canned fruits, two pieces of bacon, two packets of white sugar, one packet of rock sugar, and one packet of brown sugar.
The remaining package contained several sets of inner clothing for small children. There were four sets of clothes that were roughly the same size as the other two, perfect for each child. There was also a large piece of homespun cloth, two colorful quilt covers, and several tiger-head hats for children.
"Mom, there are so many things!" Peng Ertiao said in amazement. There are also new clothes! He loves new clothes the most.
"Grandma and Grandpa are so nice!" Peng Yitiao said. He no longer envied those who had grandparents. He had the best grandma and grandpa!
"Piao Niang~" Peng Sandiao picked up a tiger hat curiously.
"Would you like to try it on?" Cheng Zhenzhu put the unique hat embroidered with a tiger nose and tiger eyes on Sandiao's head.
Peng Santiao raised his hand and pulled the two tiger ears on top of his head.
"Not bad, so cute." Cheng Zhenzhu looked at the three cute kids with eyes full of curiosity, and immediately dressed up Yitiao, Yitiao and several others.
I quite like the second one, but I find the first one a bit cumbersome.
"Ah ah!" Liu Tiao couldn't wait any longer. He grabbed the hat off San Tiao's head with his hand.
San Tiao was shaking his head, admiring himself, when he suddenly felt a chill above his head.
"Yours is here..." Cheng Zhenzhu looked at Liu Tiao, who was stuffing his hat onto his forehead, feeling somewhat helpless. Anyway, this little guy wanted to participate in everything, and he was very energetic just because he was sick.
"Oh~" Liu Tiao saw that his mother also helped him put on the hat, so he spread out his little paws and touched the one on his head.
Touch it twice, then pull it off and take a closer look.
Peng Yitiao quickly helped San Tiao catch the hat that was about to fall to the ground, "Brother, let me help you put it on."
Peng Sandiao nodded, found the two tiger ears, moved them straight, and continued to pinch them.
"Oh, whose precious babies are these? How come they are so cute and good-looking?" Cheng Zhenzhu looked at the four festive little dolls wearing tiger-head hats and couldn't help but hug them in her arms and rub them.
"It's cold~" Peng Sandiao tilted his little face, his two bright black eyes filled with joy.
"Mom, grandma and grandpa are so good to us! When will they come here to play? And brother Xiaohu, I miss him a little..." Peng Ertiao touched the new clothes, then the new hat, and chattered non-stop.
"They will come next year, in the spring or..." Cheng Zhenzhu glanced at the envelope in her hand, paused slightly, put the stamp away, and looked at the letter sent from home.
The letter said they had made a hat and a set of clothes for her, specially made larger to prevent her from growing taller. The quilt cover was new, specially for her, and the homespun cloth was also reserved for her clothes... Then they decided to leave for Sanshi Island on the third day of the Lunar New Year...
"Your grandparents will come to our side for the New Year this year." After reading the letter, Cheng Zhenzhu immediately shared the news with several little kids.
"Really?" Peng Ertiao was very surprised.
Peng Yitiao was also very happy.
"Naonao, Nao Ye, come here?" Peng Sandiao tilted his head and showed a sweet smile.
"Yes, I'll be here soon. It'll be here in about twenty days." Cheng Zhenzhu remembered the letter saying Cheng Zhenbao and Cheng Zhenyu would be coming too, and she realized something. There were enough beds and rooms at home, but not enough quilts.
She had a few nice quilts in her space, but they weren't suitable for her to take out. And when her family came over, she and her little ones would have to change the quilts they were currently covering themselves with...
So I have to buy some! I wonder if she'll be happy to leave the kids home alone at the supply and marketing cooperative...
That was definitely not something they would be happy about. After hearing this, the three kids all wanted to follow.
"It's cool~" Peng San Tiao hugged Cheng Zhenzhu's arm and acted coquettishly. He wanted to be with his mother.
Cheng Zhenzhu was in a dilemma. One or two was fine, but three would make her seasick, and six would require her to carry. She also needed to get some cotton and some New Year's goods that were appropriate for the season, so she definitely wouldn't have time to spare...
"Forget it, Mom, go by yourself. I won't help you carry the things. I'll stay at home to look after my younger brothers!" The eldest brother, Peng Yitiao, stepped forward and stopped his mother from making things difficult for him. He also advised his two younger brothers to listen to their mother.
"Okay..." Peng Ertiao nodded. Playing at home wasn't bad, actually. Mom would be back soon after she bought the things.
He listened to his mother, but he still wanted to go... San Tiao was listless, nestling in his mother's arms, feeling unhappy. Then Cheng Zhenzhu opened a large can of lychees for the little ones and gave them a bag of Wangzai steamed buns, which calmed the little ones down.
The canned lychees weren't sent from home, but from her space. She had the yellow-head canned and the orange canned before, so today she wanted the lychee flavor.
The can of lychees was big, but there were also many babies in it, so in the end each person only got five lychees and a little sugar water.
Liu Tiao saw that his brothers each had a bowl and his mother had a big jar. He immediately threw off the hat on his hand, and when no one was paying attention, he took a spoon dipped in lychee syrup and prepared to put it into his mouth.
"Liu Tiao, you can't drink this yet." Cheng Zhenzhu quickly snatched the spoon away.
The spoon is hers...
"Woooo ...
"Sweet~" San Tiao took a bite of lychee flesh, drank a sip of sugar water, and began to tear the packaging of Wangzai steamed buns. It took him a long time to tear a small hole.
Cheng Zhenzhu helped to make the hole bigger, and then a thin little hand reached out, grabbed a few small buns and stuffed them into her mouth.
"Six." Cheng Zhenzhu was afraid that the little guy would choke, so she quickly took the buns out of his mouth.
Xiao Xiao Liu Tiao licked the remaining steamed bun foam in his mouth, puckered up his little mouth, and reached out his hand to throw the steamed bun into the air like a scattering of flowers.
