Chapter 18 Fried Fish Balls

"Double round!" Peng Sandiao pointed to the three pieces he had pinched and said happily to his two brothers.

"Yours is the roundest, but the least." Peng Yitiao is a straightforward man.

"Brother, why do you only have 3? Look at me and my brother, we have so many!"

"Not round." Peng Santiao tilted his head and looked at the meatballs made by his two brothers seriously.

"Yeah, yeah, yours is round, ours isn't." Peng Ertiao nodded perfunctorily. He was used to his brother being slow at everything.

Zhang Siyu waited for the water to boil, squeezed the balls between her palms, and scooped them one by one into the already hot water with a spoon.

She was quick and in no time she had a whole pot of small fish balls. As the water boiled, the fish balls floated up one by one.

Remove from the pot. Zhang Siyu took out another pot and continued to cook. She also put the dumplings made by the brothers into the pot.

"Mom, is it ready?" Peng Ertiao looked at the snow-white fish balls still steaming in the basin, climbed down the stool, walked to the front of the table, and his eyes began to look at the fish with a sticky look.

Fish balls, lots of fish balls, fragrant fish balls, hot fish balls!

"Yes. It's cooked. You can eat one first. Mom will add some more ingredients and cook it again later. It should taste better."

"Does this food have to be counted in the number? Mom said she'd give me 10, so will I only be able to eat 9 later?"

Peng Yitiao had a clear idea in his mind. This cooked food would definitely not be as delicious as the fried one later. If this one was to count, he would hold back and eat it later.

"This doesn't count. You all try it." Zhang Siyu laughed, took the chopsticks, and pierced one for each of his brothers.

"Fufu..." Peng San Tiao blew a few times and took a small bite.

"Mom, hiss~ so delicious!" Peng Ertiao let the hot meatball turn around in his mouth without forgetting to say a word.

Peng Yitiao looked at his older brother's embarrassed look, half closed his mouth, and then took a bite of the fish ball with chopsticks. The tender fish ball tasted particularly chewy and fragrant!

"It's delicious! Mom, it's even more delicious than what you made during the Chinese New Year." Peng Yitiao was no longer sulking. He called his mother affectionately, circling around her, and regained his usual lively character.

"Can I try another one?" After eating one, Peng Yitiao's pitch-black little hands held the chopsticks and seemed eager to try.

"It will be ready soon. Mom will add some shrimp seasoning to cook one pot and fry another. Do you want to eat it now or later?"

"Then I'll eat it later!" Peng Yitiao said without hesitation.

Zhang Siyu suppressed her laughter and cooked all the fish balls, filling an entire basin.

Peng Yitiao and his brothers gathered around, staring at Zhang Siyu intently. Every time Zhang Siyu moved, they moved as well.

It seems that she is thinking about it too much... Zhang Siyu no longer has the appetite to catch a few kids. She quickly cleans the pot, dries it, pours oil, and slips about 50 meatballs into it for frying.
