Chapter 21 Sending Fish Balls to Erwa's House

She asked for it, but what could she ask for it with? "Xiaolong, can I cook you some delicious fish tonight? There are still many fish in the tank. I can cook whatever you want."

"No, what you cooked is not tasty. I want to eat the delicious fish now." Yu Xiaolong stomped his feet at his mother in a tantrum.

Xu Xia frowned. "Xiaolong, you don't even listen to what your mother says? I've been so good to you, and you still say my cooking is unpalatable. It's unpalatable, but you've been eating it for years, haven't you?"

Yu Xiaolong's tears fell, and his mouth was so pouty that it looked like it could hold an oil bottle. "Mom said she was good to me, but she didn't let me eat eggs or make me delicious fish."

Seeing her son like this, Xu Xia coaxed him, "Mom will help you later, okay?"

Yu Xiaolong refused, "Hurry up!"

"Hurry up!" Peng Ertiao urged his brother.

"Wait." Peng Sandiao took a bite of the fish ball skewered on the chopsticks and followed his two brothers with his short legs.

Zhang Siyu watched the three brothers enter and exit the fence gate side by side and nodded with satisfaction.

She was just about to go and give fish balls to Yumei, but Yitiao and Ertiao volunteered to go instead, telling her to stay home and eat them when she got home. Ertiao also said he wanted to share one of his balls with Yumei's second child and that he would go alone.

Finally, she poured the fish balls cooked with dried shrimp and celery into a bowl with two handles and asked Yi Tiao to hold it, and asked Er Tiao to hold the bowl of fried fish balls, and then encouraged San Tiao to go with his two brothers.

San Tiao was unhappy at first as he pulled her clothes.

This was expected. She persuaded him and put another fish ball on him, and finally he reluctantly nodded.

But the fact that Sanjo is willing to go out is already a good start...

Zhang Siyu took out the noodles she had bought earlier and put a bundle in. The white noodles softened instantly when they came into contact with the boiling water, and a few white and tender fish balls rolled on top as the boiling water gurgled and bubbled.

She had just cooked about 30 fish balls and only kept 8.

It is enough for 8 fish balls.

"Erwa, Aunt Yumei, the fish balls are here!"

Peng Erwa, who was tinkering in the main room, ran out happily when he heard Ertiao's voice. When he saw what Peng Yitiao and Peng Ertiao were holding in their hands, his eyes widened.

"Mom!" Peng Erwa shouted loudly.

"Erwa," Peng Ertiao pointed to the largest, roundest fried fish ball on the edge of the bowl and explained carefully, "This one is for you. Eat it quickly. And the rest is what my mother asked me to give to Aunt Yumei."

"Thank you, Ertiao!" Peng Erwa's eyes lit up and he took action immediately.

Peng Erwa chewed it carefully twice and found it tasted so good that he almost swallowed it whole. He forced himself to hold back and chewed it a few more times.

"Er Tiao, it's delicious, your mother made it so delicious!"

You Yumei walked out of the kitchen and saw four children gathered together, holding two bowls in their hands.

"Aunt Yumei, my mother made some delicious food for us at home. Let's help her bring it over."

"Why are there so many? And some are fried!" You Yumei was amazed at the two large bowls. "Seconds, take this bowl of fried fish balls back and eat them. Aunt Yumei can't take them. Tell your mother that this bowl of boiled fish balls is enough."

Peng Yitiao shook his head and repeated his mother's words, "Mom said she had already collected all the fish, and Aunt Yumei couldn't refuse the fish balls. It's already been agreed, otherwise Mom won't ask Aunt Yumei for fish next time..."

This Pearl girl...was afraid she would refuse, so she tried to trick her. You Yumei felt warm inside. She took the fish balls from Peng Yitiao and asked Erwa to take the fried fish balls from Peng Ertiao.

"Go back." Peng Sandiao was biting a fish ball. Seeing his two brothers hand over the fish balls, he pulled his eldest brother and shouted that he wanted to go back.

"San Tiao, can you wait for Aunt Yumei to change the bowl? You can help Aunt Yumei take the bowl back to your mother later."

"Okay. Aunt Yumei, we'll wait for you." Peng Ertiao said.

Seeing that he was about to return the bowl, Peng San Tiao stopped urging him to take it back and continued to slowly bite the fish balls on his chopsticks.

I have to take my mother’s bowl back.

"Brother, can you give me a bite?" Peng Ertiao looked at his brother eating with relish and became greedy again.

Peng San Tiao didn't guard the food, he just put the meatball to his second brother's mouth, "One bite."

"Hmm, one bite." Peng Ertiao opened his mouth wide, then half-closed it, taking only a small bite. "Delicious."

"Big brother, eat it." Peng Sandiao raised the chopsticks to Peng Yitiao's mouth again.

Peng Yitiao took a bite without hesitation.

But because I was afraid that my brother would cry, I only took a small bite.

Seeing that his two brothers had finished eating, Peng Sandiao happily held the chopsticks and continued to bite.

You Yumei brought two bowls of fish balls to the kitchen, replaced and washed the bowls, and then retrieved a bag of dried goods from the wall. It was filled with dried shrimp, scallops, and other items. Pearl's family was out of fish, so she wondered if they still had any...

Peng Erwa circled around his mother and finally got a delicious fried fish ball. Then he went to call his brother.

"Okay, one or two, take them back." You Yumei handed two washed bowls and a bag of dry goods to the two brothers.

Peng Yitiao and Peng Ertiao refused to take the bag that You Yumei brought over.

"Take it, it's not a good thing. It contains dried shrimps and scallops that my aunt just picked up. Your mother hasn't been to the sea for a long time. I wonder if there are any of these at home..."

"No more." Peng Ertiao said honestly.

"Then I must take them. This is to thank you for sending so many fish balls. You all know about dried shrimps and scallops. I scooped up a handful and dried them in the sun. There are so many that my aunt's family can't even finish them all!"

"Okay, thank you Aunt Yumei." When Peng Yitiao was serious, he acted like a little adult.

"You're welcome. Didn't your mother say she'd made delicious food for you? Go back now!"

"Okay, let's go back." Peng Ertiao ran quickly with the bowl in his hand.

"Brother..." Peng Sandiao grabbed his older brother's clothes.

"Let's go, I'll hold your hand." Peng Yitiao said helplessly before he could run away.
