Chapter 25 The Goddess's Maternal Home

With the truth revealed, Lady Yang looked at the little goddess with even more kindness in her eyes. She had done so many good deeds, yet she was still being misunderstood.

“Your Highness, the Ling family is your maternal family. According to the rules, they should be granted a title and reward. What do you think?” Lady Yang stepped forward and whispered, making sure her voice was low but that others could hear her.

Upon hearing this, the women of the Ling family looked over with burning eyes, their hearts pounding like drums.

The girl clenched her fists and nodded with all her might.

Once everyone was out of sight, the great goddess kicked off her shoes, lay down on the bed, and continued sleeping.

The system sighed, "Who would have thought that after all this trouble, involving the Book of Life and Death and the Goddess's Mother, it was all for a mere Ling Xin?"

A muffled voice came from under the covers: "I only made these dumplings because of this little bit of vinegar."
