Chapter 49: A Side Story from Later Generations

The legendary Princess of Qin of the Great Jin Dynasty did not go through the process of becoming a princess, a princess, or a grand princess. She was immediately granted the title of grand princess. Was it because she was particularly favored?

No, not exactly.

Although she was the daughter of the founding emperor of the Great Jin Dynasty, there is no record of a Qin princess during the emperor's reign. She first appeared in historical records during the reign of the third emperor of the Li Dynasty.

During the reign of the illustrious Emperor Wen, this princess was able to directly interfere in court affairs, suppress powerful families, and was extremely arrogant and domineering.

A young lecturer gives a passionate speech in a university classroom.

Zhao Feng heard the question in a daze, smacked his lips, and thought he was dreaming.

Were there really such amazing princesses in history? Princess Taiping, Princess Guantao, and Princess Pingyang don't seem to fit the bill.

The student next to him quietly nudged him with his elbow, and the lecturer's glasses on the stage reflected the light.

Zhao Feng shifted his arm to the other hand, showing no sign of nervousness. He was joking; he had been working for four years since graduation and was suffering the hardships of being a corporate slave. The nightmare of being caught sleeping in class couldn't stop him from sleeping.

The next second.

Zhao Feng regained consciousness and looked blankly at the unfamiliar large face approaching him, completely bewildered.

"Let me see, it's Zhao Feng, right?"

The unfortunate lecturer, who was taking over the class in place of the instructor, checked the list and called out Zhao Feng's name.

Yes, that's right.

"Didn't you sleep well last night? Even if you had an 8 a.m. class, you shouldn't be this tired."

The male lecturer said something and then told him to stand up. Zhao Feng reflexively stood up, looked around, and his mind suddenly became completely clear.

He...traveled through the world!

It was obvious that the surroundings and the people around were completely unfamiliar. As for such a large-scale prank, as a struggling office worker—

He doesn't deserve it.

What's more, there's a mirror on the girl's desk to the left. Turning his head to look at himself in the mirror, he was only slightly less handsome than the readers!

"Are you awake?"

The male lecturer gave a forced smile. This student was already sleeping in class, which was one thing, but now he dared to daydream even when the lecturer was standing right in front of him. He was too arrogant.

"I'm listening."

Zhao Feng was startled.

"Alright, tell me about the deeds of this Qin princess, and some of the unsolved mysteries she left behind."

Well, I've already traveled through time, so who knows how much history has changed? Is this so-called Great Jin Dynasty the Sima family's?

He's not familiar with him!

All I know is the Five Barbarian Invasions and a foolish emperor, plus Sima Yi's ulterior motives are obvious to everyone.

Did this princess marry thirty husbands, successfully rebel and become an empress, or do something truly shocking?

How did they manage to break through the encirclement and make a name for themselves in history?

Zhao Feng appeared calm on the surface but was panicked inside. Then he calmed down and joked, "I've been in the underworld for so many years and I've been humiliated by my superiors countless times. What's a little loss of face?"

"Teacher, I don't know much about it."

The main focus is on sincerity.

The male teacher gave him a slightly strange look:

"Hey, I can accept that you don't know about other things, but you're telling me you don't know about the Goddess of Mount Tai either? Are you deliberately trying to go against me?"

"Little student, what did the teacher do to offend you?"

His tone was incredulous, as if the Chinese people of his previous life didn't know about Qin Shi Huang.

What happened next showed him that normal male college students in this world do indeed know about the Goddess of Mount Tai.

The male teacher returned to the podium, but instead of asking Zhao Feng to sit down, he called on another student to stand up.

"Class monitor, can you answer this for him?"

This one looks quite lively, pulling out a handful of her hair:

"Teacher, you've come to the right person. No one knows the Goddess of Mount Tai better than me."

Some people in the audience started to jeer:

"Our class monitor is the best at playing XX game in the whole school."

Zhao Feng was completely confused. Wasn't this about the Eldest Princess? Why was the Goddess of Mount Tai being brought up? Does such a goddess exist in China?

What about games?

The class monitor retorted:

"Get lost! The best player I play isn't the Goddess of Mount Tai!"

Zhao Feng: Oh, I see. A popular game character, he might even be a hot character.

Answer the question again:

"The reign of Emperor Wen of the Jin Dynasty was the most brilliant and prosperous era in a thousand years. Emperor Wen was also a great emperor, but he was just a supporting character in the story of the Goddess of Mount Tai."

He paused, then said admiringly:

"The Goddess of Mount Tai, also the Grand Princess of Qin officially recognized by the Great Jin Dynasty, is described in the official history of the Jin Dynasty as a deity who became a ghost after death. She was also a spoiled, willful, and capricious deity who was pampered by her master, the Lord of Mount Tai. She once took away the lifespan of the head of a noble family because of their offense, and then bestowed it upon Emperor Wen..."

Before the words were finished, an excited girl shouted:

"Emperor Wen instantly regained his youth, becoming ten years younger. Unofficial histories say that after Emperor Wen became younger, the concubines in the palace did not want to see the emperor for a period of time because they could not bring themselves to do it."

Everyone laughed, and some students even slammed their fists on the table.

"You yourself said it's unofficial history," the squad leader continued.

Historical records state that the Goddess of Mount Tai led a dozen or so people into the Gates of Hell, where they traveled throughout the underworld in a single day, saw the River of Oblivion, crossed the Bridge of Helplessness, and spoke with Meng Po.

These were all manifestations of her miracles. Although later historians generally believed that the Goddess of Mount Tai used hallucinogenic drugs, I have always believed it to be true.

A hint of fanaticism flashed in the squad leader's eyes:

"Among those traveling with him were not only Emperor Wen, but also the famous first female Minister Wang Fu. It's impossible that they were drugged by hallucinogenic drugs and then believed in the Goddess of Mount Tai."
