Chapter 137: Find Li Dachun to Explain

Jianjun returned home and said to Chengcai, "Don't worry, I've been to the cowshed. Now you just need to take good care of yourself. Don't worry about anything else, I've already taken care of it."

"Thank you, Uncle. You've gone to so much trouble for me," Cheng Cai said apologetically.

“Don’t say that. You saved Zhuzi. We’re family now. We’ll stick together from now on. Don’t be so formal,” Jianjun said, looking at Chengcai.

"Yes, I understand," Cheng Cai said, his eyes filled with tears.

Zhu Zi's body had almost fully recovered, and he thanked Cheng Cai, saying, "Brother Cheng Cai, thank you. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be able to see my mother again."

"Don't say that. Your aunt helped me too. Anyone would have saved you. I'm relieved that you're alright," Cheng Cai said, patting Zhu Zi's head.

Seeing that Cheng Cai and Zhu Zi had both woken up and were recovering, the two felt relieved.

"Jianjun, let's go find Li Dachun and make them pay the price. His two sons haven't even mentioned taking the adults to find our Zhuzi yet. They're just leaving him to his fate," Tingting said angrily.

"Let's go now. Let these kids stay home and watch over our two little ones, and take the hoes," Jianjun said as he looked for something.

When they arrived, they started banging on the door with hoes, shouting, "Li Dachun, you guys come out here!" Because the noise was so loud, many neighbors came out to watch the commotion and see what was going on.

"What are you doing, Zhang Tingting and you two? Are you here to bully us?" Li Dachun shouted angrily.

"I'm telling you, Li Dachun, ask your two bastard sons what they did, and bring them out here to pay for my sons' lives!" Zhang Tingting roared.

Li Dachun was also stunned by these words. His son came back in a panic. Could he have really done something wrong? And what was going on with the threat of paying with his life?

“Let me tell you, Zhang Tingting, why are you calling my son? Are you bored? If you have nothing to do, I’m going back to my room. I still have to cook,” Li Dachun rolled his eyes at Zhang Tingting.

“Cooking? You have the nerve to cook? I’ll smash your pots and pans in a minute. Don’t be so cocky. Call your son out here,” Jianjun shouted at her.

Seeing that things were going badly, and that his son might have really done something, Li Dachun hurriedly called out, "Husband, come quick! Someone is bullying your wife!"

"Stop making trouble! Your son pushed my son into the river, and those two came back after pushing him, disregarding my son's life or death. I will make them pay the price!" Zhang Tingting shouted angrily.

Li Dachun hadn't expected things to be so serious, so he could only grit his teeth and say stubbornly, "How do you know it's my son? Maybe he fell down on his own. You can't frame my son just because we have a family conflict."

Tingting grew angrier as she listened, and went up to hit her with a hoe. This startled Li Dachun, who quickly dodged. The people around them whispered among themselves, after all, this matter was far too serious.

Li Dachun's two children were terrified when they heard the commotion outside and cried. They didn't dare to go out. Their father saw this and understood what was going on.

"You two bastards, tell me if this is true or not, and whether you pushed it or not."

Fen Dan and Gou Dan cried and said, "He fell down by himself, we didn't push him."

“I didn’t push them away, but they came looking for me. And why didn’t you tell me when they came back? Now I don’t even know how the pillar is doing. Things are getting complicated.”

"You two stay inside. I'm going to check on your mother and ask her what's going on, understand?" Li Dachun's husband instructed his two children.

"Understood, Father."

"What's going on, Jianjun? What brings you to my house?"

“Honey, you’ve finally arrived! Those two are really bullying us, coming to our doorstep!” Li Dachun said first.

“Let me tell you, Li Dachun, stop making trouble here. Don’t you know what’s going on? Bring your son here and you’ll see. I’m telling you, this isn’t over between you and my son,” Jianjun said, pointing with a hoe.

"Don't be angry, Jianjun. What have my two kids done to make you so angry?"

“Your two sons stole my son’s things, pushed my son into the river, and then ran away and never looked back.”

“If it weren’t for the brothers Cheng Cai and You Cai passing by, my son would be gone. Now Cheng Cai and my son are still half asleep and have been running a fever all night. I came to you to give me an explanation,” Jianjun said, looking at them.

The surrounding villagers all came. Every little commotion in the village spreads by word of mouth. When Jianjun said this, the neighbors all pointed and whispered about Li Dachun's family.
