Chapter 239 Preparations Before Going to School 2

"You guys, see if there's anything you want to eat, I'll bring it for you all."

"Mom, doesn't this school have anything? What do I need to bring?"

"The school has a cafeteria, but the food is definitely not as good as what you eat at home, so I thought I'd bring you some things."

"We absolutely need this milk powder, 10 cans of it. And let me think, we also need to bring some things for your three grandfathers' homes."

"After we register at the school and get you settled, we'll go to see your three grandfathers. From now on, these three old men will take care of you."

"I know, Mother. There are so many things to prepare. We need to consider every aspect."

"Thank you for your hard work, Mother. You and Father are the best."

"Stop being silly. Oh, there's more. Once you get to school, you'll need to write letters if anything comes up."

"By the way, speaking of writing letters, Jianjun, could you buy some more stamps for the kids? We'll talk about the envelopes when they arrive."

"Okay, okay, I'll remember that. You're more anxious than the child about sending him to school."

"Hey, you don't understand. I've brought them everything they need, so I'm not so worried."

"Okay, okay, I was too talkative."

"Make more cured pork so we can take some with us. It keeps for a long time and becomes very fragrant when cooked."

"And this chili sauce, fermented tofu, sauerkraut, and pickled vegetables, along with some pickled duck eggs and other such things."

"Take some rice and sweet potatoes with you. Keep these for your own consumption."

"I understand, Auntie, don't worry."

"I even brought the bed sheets, I completely forgot about them."

"That's about it. I'll bring some sausages for the kids later, a lot more."

"You have to bring all this sugar, brown sugar, and these dried vegetables."

"Mom, this is enough. This is too much. I doubt we can even carry all of this."

"Okay, then take these for now. I'll check later to see if there's anything missing and mail it to you."

Once Tingting had decided what to bring, she started making clothes and preparing food for the children.

There's simply no time to deal with them; they're going back to school in March, and there's not enough time right now.

The day after Jianjun was born, he went to buy things, and the villagers watched him carry so many things home.

"Why did Jianjun buy so much stuff?"

"This is obviously for those kids to use for school, no need to ask," said the elderly women around.

Tingting and Jianjun ignored what they said and the children and Jianjun pickled duck and goose eggs, smoked bacon and sausages.

Tingting started preparing clothes for them, making clothes from day to night, for almost half a month.

Tingting also took the medicine out of her space, removed the packaging, and put all the medicines without obvious words into a cloth bag.

Since Jianjun and I live far apart and don't have cell phones, we have to prepare one for him.

Jianjun and Tingting prepared quite a few boxes of cured meat and other such things, filling six boxes in total.

Cheng Cai and Zhu Zi were all holding their foreheads, wondering how they could possibly take so much stuff with them.

Tingting didn't care about those things; she thought she hadn't brought enough.

We've almost finished preparing things for the children, and the Lunar New Year is just around the corner.

Tingting also sighed, "In another month, these children will be setting off."

"Mom, when we go out to take the train to send my brothers to school, Qiuqiu and I can go with them too."

"We've never seen a train before, and we've never traveled far from home."

"Alright, alright, I'll take you all with me. I can't forget about you."

"Mom, and those sweaters too, make one for me and one for my brother."

"I made this for you before the New Year, but you're not allowed to go out and show it off to me."

"I know, Mom, don't worry. I've heard that almost 100 times."

"Hmph, all you do is talk back," Tingting tapped Fubao's forehead, and the whole family laughed.
