The next day, Tingting and Jianjun, being older, got up early and began to pack up their treasured tea and ginseng.
After the children got up and ate breakfast, they went to find Jianjun and Tingting.
“Mom and Dad, what are you tidying up? You’re not done yet? We’ll help you,” Shi Tou said.
“It’s all tea and medicinal herbs, collected by your dad and me over the years,” Tingting said.
"Auntie, this tea tastes great, it's good stuff," Cheng Cai said.
"Of course it's a good thing! This is Da Hong Pao tea, but your uncle and I have collected a lot of it," Tingting said.
"Mom, is this ginseng real?" Tie Dan asked.
"Of course it's true. These are all rare items, some are a thousand years old, and you rarely see them. If you go out now, you simply won't be able to buy them."
"But we have quite a few of these kinds of good things in our collection, though not many, since they are rare and hard to come by."
"Auntie, I love drinking tea the most. Can I choose some of these tea leaves?" Cheng Cai asked.
"Of course you can. You and Weidong are the biggest tea lovers and the most knowledgeable about tea. You two can choose."
"Mom, you're being biased. Can't we choose?" Shi Tou asked.
"Do you know anything about tea? Do you think I don't know you?"
"But I can give them away, there are always people who like to drink tea. No, I still have to pick some out myself."
"Alright, you can choose for yourselves," Tingting said helplessly.
"You guys pack here, your dad and I will go pack other things."
"Okay, we've got you covered here. Don't worry, you and Dad."
Tingting and Jianjun rolled their eyes at them. These were originally meant for the children anyway, so let them choose whatever they wanted.
“Jianjun, I think these jadeite pieces are all quite nice. These seven jadeite necklaces are all the same style, and they are also for my daughters-in-law and daughters.”
"We had these designed in the first place, wasn't it for them? Let's hurry up and pack them up, there's still so much jewelry here."
Tingting specially set up display cases, and these jewelry, jade, and diamonds were divided into several rooms. When you went inside, the decoration was the same as when you went to a jewelry boutique.
After tidying up these jewels, that's about it. The rest of the items are in the space.
"Fu Bao, call all your sisters-in-law over here. I have something to give you. Go ahead."
"Okay, Mom, I'll go now."
"You're all here. I came across a really good piece of jadeite, so I thought I'd make a jadeite necklace for each of you. Take a look and see if you like it."
Tingting handed the jewelry to them, and when they opened it, everyone looked surprised; this was too extravagant.
Women all like these kinds of jewelry; this is a sign of their appreciation.
"Mom, we will pass these down as family heirlooms. The quality of this jade is just too good," Xia Ying said.
"Yes, this is a token of my appreciation. You can make your own arrangements."
"Mom, you're so biased! You've prepared so much for your daughter-in-law, but you don't care about me, your son," Qiuqiu said.
"Stop fooling around, you're just trying to flatter me and your dad. Alright, hurry up and pack up. Tonight, we'll pack up our cigar collection, and that should be enough."
"Okay, we got it, Mom. I'll take a couple of days off. Qiuqiu's wedding is coming up soon."
"Well, that's settled."
