After the family returned home and calmed down, they began to talk about the incident.
"What's wrong? Mom, what did you mean by what you just said?" Xia Ying asked.
“I sent someone to ask around to see who sent them, or if they were being targeted for showing off their wealth,” Tingting said.
"Mom, is it because you bought too many things at the mall that someone noticed you and started to have designs on you?" Xia Ying guessed.
"That's how it is right now. My men have been watching them for a while now. When we're in a car, they tell us not to stop."
“But my men just called us. They’ve found everyone. We’ll see what the situation is before we decide,” Tingting said.
"It's good that everything is alright. Mom and Dad, you've bought too many things for these two kids. You're spoiling them too much," Xia Ying said.
“It’s not easy for us to come all this way. You’ve raised these two kids so well. We went out for hot pot, and they were still thinking about you and their dad.”
"This is freshly packed; we'll have this again tonight."
“The two little ones were worried that you didn’t get to eat, and they kept talking about it during the meal,” Tingting said with a smile.
"Although a lot happened today, both children were quite calm. They remained composed in the face of major events. We must not let these two children be any different in the future."
Xia Ying chuckled when she heard Tingting and Jianjun say that, realizing that her in-laws were quite good at judging people.
“You two have been playing all day. Go wash your hands, rest for a while, and then do your homework,” Xia Ying said.
The two children knew to stop while they were ahead and didn't haggle. They waited to finish their homework so they could unpack the things their grandparents had bought for them that day.

Watching the two children return to the house, Xia Ying asked, "Should we call Wei Dong now and tell him about this?"

Tingting called Weidong and told him the whole story.
"Mom, I'll send people over right now. Where are they located?" Wei Dong asked.
Wei Dong was furious. How could there be people so blind as to target their family?
Fortunately, his family has nothing else to do right now, and he'll discuss this matter when he gets home tonight, Wei Dong thought to himself.
"Mom and Dad, have you found out who sent them?"
"Xiaoying, everything's fine for now, but we should still be careful during this period and prepare for both possibilities," Tingting said.
"Okay, Mom. What did Weidong say?"
"They didn't say anything. We'll look into it when we get back."
Xia Ying nodded and said nothing more.
