In March, Tingting and Jianjun packed a lot of things and prepared to take the train to send their children to school.
"Did you see that? Jianjun and Tingting's family went to take some children to school."
“I saw it. They were carrying a lot of things. I saw that the children's backs were full, and they couldn't carry them anymore.”
"This guy must have moved all his stuff out of the house. He really went all out."
“If my son could be this successful, I would also bring him all this stuff. He still needs to study hard, otherwise he will be successful in the future.”
"That's right. When the time comes, I'll have to send my grandson to school so that my family can have a college student too."
The villagers were all talking about it. Jianjun, carrying his things, finally squeezed onto the train.
There were many of them, and a lot of stuff; it was packed full.
"Where are you all going, with so much stuff?" an older woman asked.
"Auntie, we're sending some children to school. All five of them have passed the exam."
"You all passed the exam, so there are five of you in your family. That's really impressive."
"Wow, you're really amazing! You've really made something of yourself. Just wait and see how good things are for you."
"Thank you, ma'am."
Jianjun and Tingting felt incredibly happy listening to the old lady praise the children; they were even happier than if she had said anything good about them.
The old woman's words were heard by everyone around her and caused a sensation.
"Wow, all five kids got accepted."
"Wow, that's really impressive."
"They're really promising. Their parents will be able to enjoy a comfortable life now."
When it was time to eat, Tingting used her spatial ability to take out several boxes of food from the bag, including quite a bit of meat.
The aroma of food wafted through the workshop, making everyone around swallow hard.
After Tingting and the others finished eating, they dozed off. Jianjun watched, realizing they had brought far too much stuff.
Cheng Cai was also thinking that he would be able to see his grandfathers in a few days, and he was quite happy and looking forward to it.
This family of nine ate nothing but steamed buns and hot meals on the bus, making everyone around them incredibly envious.
Finally, someone couldn't sit still any longer. The children in the family were so hungry they were crying, so they decided to take the plunge and ask if they could buy some of the food.
"Brother, I'm a little embarrassed, but I wanted to ask if you could sell me some of your food. This kid is so hungry he's crying."
"Brother, where are you from? Where are you going?"
"I'm also taking my child to school. Our children at home are too young, and we don't feel comfortable leaving them at home, so we brought them along."
Jianjun gave him a lot of meat and vegetables and charged him 20 cents. "It's a bargain to have meat and vegetables for 20 cents."
They are all parents and can't bear to see their children suffer, but Jianjun's sacrifice wasn't in vain; every family in this family has a hard life.
You not only ate well, but you also gave it to people for free. It makes people wonder.
Looking at the food in her hands, worried that others might want to buy more, she quickly urged the children to eat.
Cheng Cai and the others understood what it meant, and they wolfed down their food.
Fortunately, for the rest of the journey, they ate mostly sweet cakes and the like, which didn't have the aroma of real food, so it was alright.
As Cheng Cai ate his sugar cake and watched the scenery flash by outside, he felt a mix of emotions.
This was my first time riding a train. If it weren't for my aunt and uncle, I don't know how many years it would have taken Youcai and me to ride a train.
He and his brother used to envy others, but now others envy them too, and he has mixed feelings about it.
"Mom, look, it's so nice."
"Keep your voice down, don't disturb others," Tingting said, feeling happy as she looked at her daughter's joyful face. This was the life they had always wanted.
