Chapter 180 The Battle is Too Easy

Through Xiao Mu's pale pink body.

The three of them could clearly see that after the bone leech entered Xiao Mu's stomach, it was like a live shrimp falling into boiling oil, twisting wildly, trying to use the dark green sharp teeth in its mouthparts to bite the gelatin that trapped it.

However, Xiao Mu's body seemed to be a furnace in itself.

Pink, pure white, dark blue and colorful black flames flowed over.

The powder flame softens, the black flame is extracted, the white flame is purified, and the blue flame is condensed and quenched.

Wherever it passed, the leech's body melted like ice and snow, and the entire leech's body turned into the purest magic dust and merged into Xiao Mu's own circulation.

The whole process happened in a flash.

The bone leech that was struggling violently the previous second turned into an extremely weak ray of pure magic light in Xiao Mu's transparent body the next second, and quietly dissipated without leaving any trace.

"Hmm~!" Xiao Mu let out a satisfied hum, and his body expanded and contracted slightly, as if he had burped.

"Thank you, Anna! Thank you, Xiao Mu!"

Monica was no longer surprised by Xiao Mu's ability to digest everything.

However, the sudden attack launched by the controlled dwarf skeleton of the Graybeard Clan still made Monica break out in a cold sweat.

These puppets controlled by bone leeches seem to be more agile than those in the Rotten Bone Swamp!

Mark had already inserted the cross into the ground and turned into a "boxer" again, nimbly dodging the pickaxes or hammers swung by the four or five surrounding Graybeard Clan dwarf skeletons.

Although his agility was not as good as these skeletons, as long as he gave up the cross and had the magic gauze of the cross necklace to bless him, he would be able to keep up with the movements of these skeletons wielding heavy weapons.

Perhaps it is because these skeletons carry the magic of death.

The magic power with the attribute of "holy light" that surges out from the cross seems to be able to cause damage to the skeletons.

The "Holy Black Light" burned the approaching skeletons, making a "sizzling" sound and emitting wisps of black smoke.

The closer the skeleton got to Mark, the slower its movements seemed.

But after Monica repelled the skeleton that attacked Anna with one blow, she pulled Anna to hide behind Mark near the lake.

Monica herself decisively retreated into the shadows again.

The skeletons controlled by the bone leeches seemed to be able to only target Mark, who was the farthest away from the water and had the most conspicuous holy light shield on his body.

The aura of "holy light" has a taunting effect on creatures that possess the magic of "negative energy", and there is nothing that can be done about it.

However, even if Mark attracted the attention of most of the skeletons.

There is also a cross necklace that can help him slow down the attack speed of the Graybeard Clan Dwarf Skeletons.

But the number of skeletons was too large, and they were fearless and kept coming one after another.

"Holy Black Light" can only weaken their activity and cannot cause devastating damage to undead creatures like real holy light.

At least it seems impossible in the short term.

"Monica, Anna. Continue with the previous plan! Prepare for the mutation!"

Even though there were at least twenty skeletons on the platform in front of him, Mark made a plan immediately after weighing the pros and cons.

Now we are in an unknown mine under the Falling Star Lake.

They also don't have to worry about their careers or skills being exposed.

Since we have to continue exploring deep into this unknown mine anyway, we might as well use these skeletons at the door as materials for mutation.

They will feel more confident after Monica, Anna and Xiao Mu have completely transformed.

But before Monica and Anna completely transform, Mark will have to suffer first.

However, even though the skeletons of the gray-bearded dwarves were known for their sturdiness when they were alive, now that they had turned into dry bones, their height barely reached above Mark's waistline.

A group of such dwarf skeletons turned into a short white wave and surrounded Mark in the middle.

The rusty pickaxe and the broken hammer made a sound of breaking wind, aiming directly at Mark's leg armor, waist and abdomen, and the giant cross inserted on the side.

The scene suddenly became extremely crowded and somewhat absurdly chaotic.

I don't know if it's because the intelligence of undead creatures is inherently low, or if these skeletons appear a bit stupid because they are controlled by bone leeches.

Even though there were a large number of them, the only ones that could effectively "attack" Mark were the circle closest to him, which consisted of about five or six dwarf skeletons.

They were almost stuck to Mark's cross shield and leg armor, waving the "weapons" in their hands frantically but failing to take advantage of their strength attributes.

The pickaxe and hammer hit Mark's steel leg armor, making a crisp "ding-dong" sound and only splashing a few insignificant sparks.

They raised their bald skulls, their mandibles opening and closing silently, as if silently cursing why this "giant" was stronger than mithril ore.

More dwarf skeletons were squeezed in the back, anxiously pushing their counterparts in front.

They were eager to join the battle, but were limited by height and space.

Some skeletons struggled to stand on tiptoe, trying to insert their arms and weapons through the gaps in their companions' skeletons.

As a result, the pointed end of the pick or the sharp edge of the hammer would often either poke into the rib gaps of the skeletons in the front row, or hit the bare skulls of the skeletons in the front row with a "clang"!

“Crack!”

An exceptionally brave dwarf skeleton struggled to pass the pickaxe through the gap between the shoulder blades of the two front-row skeletons, trying to sneak attack Mark's side.

As a result, the hook part of the pickaxe happened to get stuck in the gap between the vertebrae of a skeleton in the front row!

It pulled hard, but not only did it fail to pull it out, it made the skeletons in the front row stagger and almost brought down a large number of skeletons around them.
