Chapter 514 Xingyue takes off her clothes

His body was filled with surging bloodthirsty energy, and his huge battle blade crackled with crimson lightning, locking onto the stars and moon in mid-air. His terrifying pressure was even stronger than before, clearly indicating that he had been thoroughly enraged by this sudden troublemaker.

Faced with Grom's overwhelming rage, Xingyue simply patted the little black dog in her arms to calm it down, a playful smile curving her lips, as if she were looking at an unreasonable child.

“The Heart of Bloodvine?” She glanced at the animal skin pouch at Kyle’s waist, her tone as casual as if she were discussing the weather. “I’m not particularly interested in things that have a strong, woody smell.”

She changed the subject, her star-like eyes refocusing on Grom with an undeniable seriousness.

"I'm here to complete a transaction."

"A deal?" Grom's massive nostrils flared with white breath, his eyes filled with disdain and wariness. "What kind of deal could I possibly make with mages like you, who have already been trampled underfoot by the Church of the Holy Light?"

Xingyue extended a slender white finger and pointed at a rough, inconspicuous pendant made of some kind of dark metal hanging from Grom's waist. Twisted star and moon patterns were faintly visible on the pendant.

"I want the 'Star Moon Black Gold' you obtained from the Green Dragon Territory." Star Moon's voice echoed clearly across the battlefield. "In exchange, I can save your life."

"ha??!!"

Grom was taken aback at first, then seemed to hear the most absurd joke in the world. His huge chest heaved violently as he let out a deafening laugh, filled with undisguised sarcasm and violence.

"Save me? Hahaha! Did you get teleported and lose your mind?"

He pointed to his bronze chest, as if cast in steel, and then to Xingyue's slender figure, his eyes filled with naked mockery.

"I, Grom Gorehowl! Favored by the Beast God! Disciple certified by His Majesty the Green Dragon of the Southsea! Only one step away from the legendary realm! Do I need a mage like you to save me?!"

He took a sudden step forward, the mud beneath his feet exploding with a deafening roar. A violent aura swept out like a tangible shockwave, locking onto the stars and moon in mid-air. His voice was like a chilling wind from the depths of hell.

"It's you! A mere Star Moon Mage, how dare you get within a hundred paces of me! Do you really think you're invincible just because you know a few spatial tricks?"

"Below the legendary level, not a single mage who has been brought close by me has survived! You are courting death!"

Grom's roar still echoed over the swamp, and the last syllable of his "You're asking for death!" had not yet completely dissipated when his massive body shot into the sky like a cannonball!

The target was the silvery-gray stars and moon in the sky.

Without the slightest hesitation, without any unnecessary words.

Grom knew all too well how terrifying the Starmoon Mage was.

Once space mages create distance and unleash their lengthy spells, the endless spatial traps and devastating spatial storms they create are enough to drive any melee warrior to despair.

He vividly remembered the embarrassing moment when they first met in the Green Dragon Territory.

He will never make the same mistake twice!

Moreover, every time they met, this woman would call him "dog" with a mocking tone, which was an unforgettable humiliation for the lion prince.

If we don't deal with her quickly, those Holy Light Insects below will be like meat on a chopping board, constantly at risk of being disrupted by her, and obtaining the Blood Vine Heart will be a pipe dream.

We must resolve the issue of the stars and moon first!

His massive form was accompanied by a piercing shriek that tore through the air, his crimson beastly eyes were fixed on Xingyue, and his bronze fist was wrapped in bloodthirsty power capable of shattering mountains, as he slammed it fiercely toward her face.

He was going to smash that damned sorcerer and the black dog in her arms into a bloody pulp!

However, Xingyue reacted even faster.

Or rather, her spatial magic was already so masterful that she didn't need lengthy incantations at all.

Just as Grom's punch was about to hit her, her figure swayed gently like a ripple on water, leaving only a tiny spatial ripple in her original spot, and she appeared in mid-air ten meters away.

Grom's seemingly inevitable strike shattered the air.

"Tsk." Xingyue's cool voice carried a hint of barely perceptible mockery, as if she had casually dodged a pouncing beast.

The little black dog in her arms seemed to find it amusing, letting out a low whimper.

Grom was enraged and exerted his strength again, his huge body forcibly twisting its direction in the air, creating a piercing sonic boom, and pouncing again!

The figure of Xingyue flickered and disappeared again, reappearing on the other side.

For a moment, Grom was seen in mid-air like a raging golden meteor, frantically chasing the constantly flashing silver-gray light.

Every attack was as powerful as thunder, yet every one missed by a hair's breadth.

Xingyue's short-range teleportation was precise and swift, always dodging just as Grom's attack was about to hit him, keeping him firmly pinned in the air, as if toying with an enraged bull.

But Grom's speed was indeed astonishing. As a follower of the Beast God, his explosive power far exceeded that of ordinary high-ranking orc warriors.

Although Xingyue could easily dodge every close-range attack, she was unable to create enough distance or chant longer spatial spells, making it difficult for her to pose a real threat to him.

The two sides were locked in a brief stalemate. Grom was unable to reach Starmoon, and Starmoon was unable to easily escape the relentless and violent onslaught.

Xingyue quickly glanced at the battlefield below out of the corner of her eye.

The old shaman who had been standing beside Grom was now bowing his head, his withered lips moving silently.

A sinister light flickered in his cloudy old eyes, and a subtle yet powerful magical fluctuation was quietly gathering as he chanted a silent incantation.

Clearly, he wasn't idle; he was taking advantage of Grom's distraction to prepare some insidious scheme.

And the idiot in front of him was still relentlessly attacking him.

Foolish people will get their just desserts!

But Grom can't be stupid.

We can't keep dragging this on.

The last trace of amusement vanished from Xingyue's eyes, replaced by a cold decisiveness.

She gave a soft snort, no longer dodging Grom's renewed attack, but instead made a move that surprised everyone.

With a flick of her arm, she tossed the shiny, adorable little black dog in her arms precisely towards Mark below.

"Keep an eye on it." The cool voice reached Mark's ears with no room for doubt.

Mark instinctively reached out and caught the soft little thing. The little black dog wriggled in his arms, found a comfortable position, and lay down, its black bean-like eyes curiously surveying the chaotic battlefield before it.

The next second, the stars and moon in mid-air did something even more amazing.

With a flick of her wrist, her signature wide, silver-gray robe adorned with stars and moons was tossed aside like a shed butterfly wing!

Xingyue actually took off her robe!
